DESCRIPTION of ILIOTHEA.
On 2500 sq m land, fenced with traditional stone, beautiful villa with Cretan character, modern amenites ,large pool, covered barbecue area , unique large terrace 200 sq m planted with grass , private big parking ( 3 or 4 cars). Around the villa many balconies overlooking the beautiful Cretan nature , unlimited view the sea and Milatos village .
"ILIOTHEA" means “Sun & view" in Greek. Wonderful colors that make your mood in a very hospitable home.
Built on 3 levels has all the facilities of an unforgettable private large home.

Provide a welcome pack with all the basic things needed to get you started your holiday for the first day, (breakfast, wine, snacks, sweet, shampoo, shower gel, cleaning paper, linen. a ready clean environment.) We want you to have a relaxing time enjoying your arrival without the stress of shopping from the first moment.
Not required for quiet hours. Nearest neighbours are about 100 m. away.

The construction of villa helps comfortable stay. East part consisting of three floors, find a spacious living area with lounge, dining room ( large table serves up to 14 adults), also the kitchen is large with full equipment. The view from inside is indescribable. There are three double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and three fully equiped bathrooms (one on each floor) This part can hosting up to 10 people.
West part consisting of two floors, has persuaded second living room with large windows enjoy the view from inside the villa , second big kitchen equally equipped help to accommodate all the number of guests without delays the daily needs.
The west part has also two double bedrooms , one twin, also two fully equipped bathrooms. This part can hosting up 6 people.
Throughout the villa several exits leading to the pool and bbq.
The great pool is one of the favorite part for all guests and is in place also enjoy the wonderful view around you.
Bbq is more than enough space suitable for lunch or dinner , without departing from the wonderful external environment. Has pergola, large table, sink, grill, wood oven, cooker gaz, and also music stereo.
Villa provides 2 pairs of sheets, 1 pair of towels per person (small, large) and some pool or sea towels which you will find in the closets.
For free, 2 park cot,1 highchair for children.

If you wish, we also take care of your safe transportation to the arrival / departure from villa with mini-bus.
Also can rent good and cheap cars for you, with only a daily payment and with our own guarantee. (Not committing money on credit cards for security from the car company). Cars be paid and delivered to the villa whenever requested .
We help you with all inclusive services (departure / return to the villa with mini bus, destination, meal), in very interesting places for daily cheap excursions.
Except the mandatory small cleaning fee at your departure to enjoy the stay until the last minute without the anxious care of the villa, with a very small charge provide also extra general cleaning (in the middle of the stay or more.

ACTIVITIES.
Wonderful experience enjoying walking amongst the olive trees & herbs of Crete (oregano, sage & thyme, wildflowers etc.)
For walking and bike activity this area is suitable. Distance from the village 600 meters and from beach about 1150 meters.
For your comfort the car or motorbike are necessary.
Only 2 minute drive to Milatos village, that is an ideal place for family vacations. Can swim in the blue Cretan sea & relax on the beach. ( Small sandy beach near the harbor and a pebbled beach). Can enjoy great fishing experience. Milatos has plenty of taverns near the sea or inside the village and also nearby locations enjoy at the famous fish taverns and Cretan Mediterranean cuisine.
There are 2 mini markets in the village for most of your needs. Drive about 6 kilometers, will find the big supermarkets & great shops, entertainment and a long sandy beach.
Crete is a large, beautiful island, with a history of years, with very good climate and countless interesting places to visit.

Sissi and Malia ,15 min drive away from the villa will encounter a lot of beautiful beaches with sand, a lot of big super markets, intertaiment , restaurants and cafes.
Half an hour driving will find the small town of Elounda, famous for its exclusive resorts. This town and nearby areas like "Plaka" grew even more famous following the release of the book “The Island” by Victoria Hislop in 2005 depicting life on the island of Spinalonga. Plaka has great pebble beach with crystal clear waters, and a lot of fish restaurants.
Agios Nikolaos 25 km from villa is a lovely small city with a vibrant cafe and bar atmosphere day and night.
Hersonisos, Ierapetra, Sitia, are also popular destinations with cosmopolitan life.
At Vai about one and a half hour drive from Milatos, will find the largest palm forest in Europe.
Inland close to Milatos find kritsa, Mochos, Lasithi plateau, Krasi , traditional villages, worth visit them.
Historic Knossos is an hour's drive near Heraklion.
Heraklion is the capital of Crete and the fifth-largest city in Greece.
For lovers of travel little longer distance for excursions, worth visit the other two major cities of Crete Rethymnon and Chania.
You make a small trip about three hour ride from Milatos and enjoy throughout northern or southern side an interesting route of the island.

WINTER
Villa is suitable for holidays almost all year round, having wonderful stay also in winter until 10 of January. The fireplace , the view of the rough sea and weather changes, leaves beautiful impressions not described with words. Provide from 1 November to 10 January firewood.
For heating oil pay a small additional charge depending on length of stay.
There is no use of swimming pool in the Winter, so the price of the villa is quite satisfactory from 1 of November until 10 of Jenuary. For more than 10 days stay is made a special offer. Suitable also for lovely Christmas celebrations.
