We had an amazing stay! The house was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. The pool was a great bonus and made our stay even more enjoyable! The location was awesome, with plenty of things to do nearby and everything conveniently within driving distance. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable home in a great location. We would absolutely stay here again!

Family San Antonio Trip

Our family (kids and grandkids) took a trip to San Antonio and stayed at this beautiful home. We had ten people total and this house was perfect for us. The pool was a big hit with everyone! The house was in the perfect location and surprisingly there were deer roaming by it!! We would definitely stay there again!!

Family vacation

Accommodations were perfect for a large family vacation. Our group aged in range from 6-69 and there was enough space for all. There was a small issue in the beginning but the owner promptly made it right and the rest of our stay was amazing!

Nice clean property in a quiet neighborhood. I would suggest adding a crock pot to the kitchen.

Clean and plenty of room

Came in town for a swim meet. House has plenty of space (three bedrooms upstairs, one downstairs) and all the amenities needed. The garage is nice, with ping pong and other games. Will add this to my list of places to stay next time we are in SA. Good communication with the owner.

Great Location, very spacious and well equipped house. Property own was great to work with.

We had a family of 16 stay at this wonderful house in town for a funeral. It has everything you need! Very clean spacious and wonderfully located house. My kids enjoyed the yard space and the game room. We were able to cook big breakfast in the well equipped kitchen and had plenty seats with the 2 dinning areas. The property own was great to responded promptly anytime we had questions. We will be staying here again if we are able to return to San Antonio.

Wonderful House!!!

We drove from South Carolina to San Antonio, Texas to visit our new granddaughter. My other son and his family from Houston stayed with us for the week. This home was perfect for all twelve of us. It was very spacious and very clean, just as advertised. The beds were super comfy! My children and grandchildren loved the pool and play room. There were a few maintenance issues when we first got there, but those were resolved very quickly. Gowa and Matt were wonderful hosts. We highly recommend this home for families. We absolutely loved it!!! We will forever treasure the special memories made there. :-)

Great Communication

The week before our trip, I went to look at the rentals page, and it was suddenly missing here on VRBO. I was concerned that we would show up and not be able to get in, that we had been scamed...VRBO reached out to the host on our behalf, since we couldn't contact them with their page having been taken down...They responded VERY quickly, and VRBO was able to fix the issue that had taken their page down. The host was great about easing our fears, and made sure to communicate with us to make us comfortable as our trip neared. The property was great, and I am so thankful for the property owner reaching out the way they did to make sure things were good!

Unfortunately, this stay fell far below our expectations. We booked this home for a special family trip centered around our young son, who has a disability, and specifically chose a property with a pool so he could swim and our families could enjoy time together.There were cleanliness issues from the start. My parents had to clean before our arrival, the floors were extremelydirty, one bed had hair in the sheets with no spare sheets available, the Pack ’n Play mattress was visibly stained, and we found a roach inside the home. We also experienced an issue with the water heater.Most disappointing was the pool. It was cloudy when we arrived and remained unusable for our ENTIRE stay. We notified the host and a pool technician came out, but the issue was never resolved. Our son never got to swim, despite the pool being a primary reason we chose this property.The host initially communicated with us and agreed to a credit after we offered to handle some cleaning ourselves. However, as the problems continued, she stopped communicating with me altogether. I ultimately had to contact Vrbo directly for assistance.Things can go wrong at any rental, but how they’re handled matters. I spent a significant portion of a special family trip cleaning, documenting issues, trying to get problems resolved, and eventually working with Vrbo. Between the condition of the home, the unusable major amenity, and the lack of communication, I cannot recommend this property based on our experience.

We’re sorry this stay fell short of your expectations. Emergency repairs right before check-in caused unexpected issues, including dust/debris missed during cleanup and the water heater pilot light going out. To clarify how each concern was handled: Floors & Cleanliness: We offered to send our cleaning team immediately. The guest preferred to clean themselves, so we issued a cleaning credit. Linens & Pack ’n Play: While all linens are laundered between stays, we gave access to our supply cabinet for extra linens when a hair was found. The pack-and-play had a cosmetic stain, but remains functional, clean, and safe. Water Heater: We walked the guest through simple troubleshooting to easily relight the pilot light. Pool: A technician confirmed the water chemistry was balanced and safe, though a circulation issue causing cloudiness required further repair post-checkout. Pest Control: The property was professionally treated days prior; seeing two dead pests is a normal result of recent service, not an infestation. We remained in communication throughout the stay. To compensate for the inconvenience, we increased the credit to $400—nearly a full night's stay. The guest stated, "Given the overall experience, I think refunding the cost of one night is a fair resolution." Because we agreed and refunded this in good faith, it is inaccurate to say communication stopped, and we were surprised when further demands were brought to Vrbo.
