Silver-moon villa is situated on the hill overlooking the Vourkari marina bay in the beautiful island of Kea (Tzia).
Kea is the northern island of the Cyclades prefecture. The island is near Athens just one hour by boat from Lavrion (one of the 3 ports of Athens). The villa enjoys a breathtaking panoramic view of the St Nicholas Gulf, the Aegean Sea and its stunning sunsets from all terraces, living room and bedrooms. The Gulf is one of the largest protected natural harbors in the Mediterranean.
A luxury property with an artistic touch - mirrors, lamps, paintings and sculptures are the creations of the owner. Silver moon romantic nights and stargazing will offer you unforgettable moments and peace of mind. The main building area is 200 square meters consisting of four bedrooms and four bathrooms a large living room and a kitchen. Outdoors there is a large terrace with pergola shading the dining table and the BBQ, plus a large infinity swimming pool.

Previous reviews say it all so I will be brief - this place is amazing! The house, the view, the pool, the outdoor bbq and terrace and the island itself - all of us loved it, both kids and adults!

Beautiful villa, stunning views, lovely pool

We had a great family holiday in Silver Moon villa. We overlooked the marina and the setting sun, spectacular every evening. The villa is very well equipped, comfortable and clean with a lovely barbecue and pool area. Kea is not a touristy island so you get a flavour of Greek life. The capital is beautiful, situated on top of a hill again with great views to the sea. The roads on the island are quite rocky and dusty so a 4x4 is recommended. The villa owners are helpful and happy to advise on travel to and from the island, shopping etc. The shops in the port are good, especially the bakery. Restaurants there are less expensive than those in the marina. A relaxing holiday!

Very relaxing and memorable one weeks stay

AGREED: STUNNING! MAGNIFICENT! PERFECT! WONDERFUL!

What can I say that the other reviews haven't already said? This home was perfect. The owners were wonderful. Kea is a truly under-developed and old-school island for those of us who prefer to be off the beaten path, with ruins aplenty, and few tourists. Sometimes, you stay at a VRBO and it's like staying at someone's empty apartment. Sometimes you get lucky (like this time!), and you feel like you are staying at the home of your auntie or your best friend. Everything you need to kick back and relax is there. The house is exactly like it appears in the pictures. Very comfortable, peaceful, soothing, esthetically appealing. All the doors and windows of the house are screened, so every morning, we would open every door and window we could, close the screens, and enjoy the sea breezes. Mom is an artist and so all the décor has a lovely artistic touch. Even the colors are soothing! The owner's agent met us at the ferry; she showed us the local market so we could provision up, and we followed her up the hill to the house, which was a good thing because the roads aren't really marked or paved. But that's okay, once you get used to it, you'll find your way. We stayed in September. I don't know what it's like in the Summer months, but in September, the weather was perfect and the island was nearly deserted. We saw few tourists and many local Greeks who were very friendly and grateful for our business. Sit out on the patio at nearly any time of day, and watch the boats come and go from the harbor. Jump in the beautiful pool when you get hot. Prepare your meals in the fully and well-stocked kitchen. Walk the roads behind and around the house. Watch the lightening storm across the sea, as it gathers strength, moving ever closer. Play some gin; drink some wine; drive to some beaches... Go to sleep, wake up, and repeat! To say that Nefeli and her mom were wonderful is an understatement. They are beyond wonderful and will do all they can to make your stay comfortable and your arrival to and departure from the island smooth-going. Thank you Nefeli and Mom for making our trip so memorable and pleasurable. Hopefully we'll be back again!

This place is stunning.

This Villa was magnificent . The pictures, although great, do not do the place justice. The views are magnificent , the sunsets to die for. We even had a full moon while we were there which added to the magic. The outside terrace and swimming pool are great with good shade except for the late afternoon sun but by that time we could move to another area for drinks! It is the most well equipped villa we have ever rented ( we have rented for 13 years)and it lacked for nothing. The owner met us at the ferry terminal and escorted us to the villa and took her tim e explaining everything to us before she left. The property is extra clean and well maintained and was excellently serviced twice weekly. We have no hesitation in recommending this Vila for a group of friends or family. Do not hesitate!

Silver Moon Villa is perfect!

Kea is an island relatively close to Athens. It is peaceful, quiet and very beautiful in that rocky way that is so distinctive of the region. Covered with wild flowers, even in June, but few people, except at weekends when Athenians (?) come over to their weekend houses. We timed our arrival with one of the biggest national holidays of the year, and even then, the crowds were concentrated only in certain areas, and we were not disturbed at all. The house is glorious. The pictures are a totally accurate representation of what you will find on arrival. Nefeli and her mother Ioanna are a delight. We had a wonderful stay, we were 6 adults celebrating a big birthday and couldn't have asked for a nicer place to be. Details: you need a good car, the road is not Tarmac, and it is steep. Shops are open every day, even holidays. There are butchers, bakers, chemists and small supermarkets. We hired a car at the airport, and did a big shop in Lidl just south of the airport on the way to Lavrion which is where you get the ferry across, but everything we needed was available on the island. Ferry schedules are not published as early as airline schedules, but there is usually a ferry across at 6pm-ish which you can tie in with your flight. Give lovely Kea (Tzia) a try, the people are friendly and the island is beautiful.

Breathtaking

Absolutely loved the Silver Moon Villa, the most beautiful sunsets at night with a great view of the harbor and a glorious patio that has plenty of comfortable seating and a wonderful pool to take a dip in. The owners have set up to house to be so welcoming and friendly. We were a group of 8, 6 adults & 2 children and everyone loved the stay. Do get a 4x4 car, the road up is steep and with luggage it would be a hard climb. The island has so much to explore, amazing beaches and views from everywhere.

Beautiful Vacation in Kea!

Our family had the most fantastic stay at Silver Moon Villa this past summer. The villa itself is very well-designed, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable for our family and visiting friends. The view of Vourkari Bay was impeccable and the setting was spectacular! We felt completely relaxed in this peaceful setting. We usually spent the day at the pool and headed to the beach in the afternoon which was perfect for us. The owners (Nefeli and her mother) were absolutely fantastic, very helpful, extremely professional, and always available when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this villa. Thank you for a wonderful stay and some unforgettable memories!

a perfect base for exploring Kea island

We spent an amazing week long vacation in Tzia. We were three couples and the choice of silver moon villa was just perfect. The hostess was extremely helpful and provided us with lots of useful information for this truly remarkable island. The villa is conveniently located close to Vourkari, where all the life of the island is. The rooms were nicely decorated and spacious, but the most amazing was the view and the sunset from the swimming pool! Absolutely breathtaking!! We highly recommend this amazing place, both silver moon villa and Kea island. There are plenty of things to keep you busy for two or more weeks! The only sad moment, was when we had to return home!!! We will be back!!!!

Wonderful villa in a wonderful island

We have chosen this villa after looking at the pictures on the website: we felt it should be like heaven... and this is just the case. The villa is brand new with very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved the way it has been designed with driftwood and paintings (the owner is an artist). The view is really breathtaking and we never missed one sunset. But, most of all, we appreciated the availability and kindness of Nefeli who did her best to make our stay a great moment. A comment also on the island which is beautiful: not a lot of tourists, we really feel in Greece. Definitively, our best week in Greece !!! I am not even sure I should submit this review as I would like to keep this place confidential for our next time there ;-)

just perfect

We spent two amazing, relaxing, wonderful weeks in the island of Kea. We enjoyed the sunset everyday from our veranda that overlooked the stunning Vourkari Marina. The villa was just perfect (we were a group of 8, 4 adults & 4 children), very clean and very comfortable. We were impressed by the organized kitchen (I like cooking), I felt like home. Another pro is the fresh fish, fruits and vegetables you can find in the island… our meals were just heavenly. Absolutely a recommendation.

Amazing sunsets!

We loved it, loved it, loved it! What a fantastic setting. We didn't leave the villa for three days (except for supplies). Amazing views, spectacular sunsets, clean, comfortable, luxurious accommodation. What more could one ask for, except a friendly, helpful and accommodating host. Thank you Nefeli for an unforgettable stay in your villa. Just one word of caution, the road leading to the villa is a sandy, stoney climb up the hill so a good car is definitely a recommendation.

An unforgettable stay

I stayed at Silver Moon Villa with my family for almost 2 weeks. Amazing location, amazing view and a beautiful home away from home. The owner was very hospitable and helpful at all times. Highly recommended.
