La Hacienda Retreat Brewery Pool Playground

Great house on 10 acres in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Located between Memory Lane Event Center and Ghost Note Brewery. Less than a mile from Wineries and Breweries in the area.

This 1700 Sq ft house was originally built in 1977. The owners used dynamite to blow out the side of the hill. They poured concrete to form the walls and ceiling. Years later they added a detached second unit separated by 10 inches of concrete and 18 inches of dirt. In 2019, the upstairs unit was bulldozed down and and built fresh for the owners living space. The downstairs was gutted down to the studs and brought up to date. This space offers a quite place to enjoy the hill country, or a great space to host a family party. We look forward to your stay.

We are on 10 acres and next door to a brewery. Feel free to walk the property and explore the natural landscape, or walk over to the brewery.

We live on-property, so let us know if you if you need anything at all.

There are local Uber and Lyft drivers as well as shuttle services we can recommend for large groups.

If you are looking for things to do in the area, just ask. From Ghost Note Brewery next door, to Mercer Street Dance Hall a half mile away, to Driftwood Winery a mile away, we can recommend something your group will enjoy.
$125 non-refundable pet deposit if you want to bring any pet.

No outside music, games, or loud disturbances on the porch after 10 pm. We encourage normal conversation and hanging out at the fire pit till the sun comes up.

Super Place!

Our group of 8 stayed here to visit a friend playing at Mercer Dance Hall. The beautiful house perfectly accommodated us all. Thank you to the hosts for an amazing stay.

Hill country retreat

Nice place nestled near Dripping Springs, stayed with a party of 8. Clear instructions and. Easy check in and cozy accommodations. Pool. Jacuzzi. Next door to Ghost note brewery!!

Wedding

Family came from Oklahoma for grandson’s wedding. Property was convenient to Mae’s Ridge and town was only a few miles away. Scott was available and an excellent host. Would recommend staying here!

Excellent house for Wedding groups

We used this house for my wedding weekend as a place for my bridesmaids and I to stay. It was perfect and had plenty of room for all of us!! I highly recommend this house, especially if you are getting married in dripping springs.

Our experience was better then expected! Scott is wonderful and the house is amazing!

The house was extremely clean and bedrooms were excellent! Daily there were deer on the property to watch. We stayed there 13 days and it was a home away from home! Very pleased and would highly recommend to anyone looking to book! Thanks again Scott for a wonderful stay!

Great Property

We stayed at this property because it had enough beds for all of our family members attending a wedding about 10 minutes away. Everyone had a bed to sleep in and we were very comfortable. We didn’t have any kids with us but the playground would be awesome for families. The fire pit was also great and we enjoyed hanging out around the fire with family and friends! I didn’t have a chance to speak to the property owner but my family did and they all said he was super nice.

Great Hill Country Location

This was a great, and very clean, property that is in between Canyon Lake and Austin. It featured a ton of space and felt like a home. Scott was really helpful and very responsive. If you are staying Thursday through Sunday, then you can walk to a brewery! It's probably less than 200 yards. We were there Mon-Thursday morning, so it was very quiet.

Loved our stay!

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. We had only a few small issues - Future guests might want to know that this is the downstairs (daylight basement) of the home. It is roomy, but 3 of the bedrooms have no windows. We are sunshine loving folks and were a bit disappointed and wish we had known. We kept oversleeping because it was dark in the rooms. While the home was clean, there was a huge cooked (cold) steak that had been left in the oven. The oversight made us wonder what else had been overlooked. Overall, however, this is a beautiful property and home. We were able to park our travel trailer out front and spread out some during our travels. The home was beautiful and the owners were accessible and very friendly and responsive. Even with the minor issues I'd recommend this home in Dripping Springs and give it 5 stars.

We will be back

This was perfect for our needs and we will stay here again. I was worried about it being built into a hill but it was light in the living areas and dark in the bedrooms. It felt like a regular house.. it was older but nicely remodeled. The owner was available when we needed him and was quickly responsive. The play area was wonderful and I loved being off the m!in road a little ways.

We loved La Hacienda

Great place to stay while taking in fun of hill country. Comfortable beds, great space for two families to play games, cook and enjoy relaxing before next day of fun. They had everything you would need including linens, towels, and cookware. Scott was great and stopped by for a visit and to check in. They live in upper part of house so super close if you need anything. Once the brewery opens that will be an added bonus. Beautiful place to unwind....just don’t forget your mosquito spray. Thanks for a great trip!

Loved our stay!!

Very nice accommodations. Beautiful kitchen. Once the remodeling is complete, this place will be amazing!! Scott was very kind and even stopped by to leave the lights on for us. Highly recommend for a weekend get away.

We decided to stay at La Hacienda Inn due to it’s close proximity to Memory Lane Event Center.

It was very convenient having family close by allowing us to drop off our parents when they were ready to leave the celebration. It allowed us as bride’s parents to be able to quickly arrive at the wedding venue as needed to facilitate ongoing events throughout the weekend.

Genuinely a Home Away from Home!

The property owners were very kind and helpful with any questions we had prior to checkin. We rented the house for the duration of events for our son's wedding and we were very comfortable. We enjoyed the remote, quiet location. The morning after the hubbub of the wedding, we had a nice relaxing cup of coffee as we watched the deer in the front yard.

Adorable house with awesome hosts!

We got married on 12/30/17 at La Hacienda (right near this house) and rented this house for our parents/grandparents and 2 fur babies to stay the night before and night of our wedding. First of all, the owner Scott was SUPER awesome - very flexible and super responsive! Second, the house couldn't have been cuter! We loved the cozy rustic, farmhouse look and feel. The location of the house was also perfect since we were using La Hacienda as our wedding venue - it was a 30-second drive or a 5 min walk to/from the house/venue. You definitely get the peaceful country vibe as the house is set back on the property so even if you weren't using the venue you're far enough away to have privacy/separation. The only downside was the cell service (AT&T and Verizon) wasn't very good inside the house, the walls are solid! lol, but we had service just fine on the patio. They had free wifi too but with 8 people logged on facebook and youtube at the same time, it was a bit slow. Not a huge deal for us since we were busy with wedding stuff and visiting with family and friends. Overall we'd definitely recommend this place! THANK YOU, Scott & Thalia! xoxo

Great guest lodging

La Hacienda lodge was a great place to put up some of our guests for our wedding at Memory Lane. It has everything folks would need to be independent, but is close enough that it’s easy to come and go for meals and other events.

Wine Weekend Getaway

Great spot for family

Had a great stay. There were seven of us and we were comfortable. Only reason for four star, not five was that the dish washer didn’t work, which meant I was the dishwasher(ugggg). Also shower fixture in master was super difficult to use. Other than those small issues it was great. Close to wineries and some awesome Barbecue!

Wonderful place to stay and close to the wedding venues.

Loved our stay at La Hacienda Inn. We had more than enough room for all seven of us. The beds we're super comfy. It was fun to take walks and enjoy the scenery. Two pups greeted us every morning when we had coffee outside. Would definitely come back!!!

Perfect for my bridal party!

The house stayed cool with the 100 degree heat in July. I loved that it was furnished with dishes and appliances. Plenty of room for my party of 8, makeup/hair stylists, and parents cooking breakfast at the same time. Everything was clean and beds were comfy. It was VERY convienent to stay at this house since you can't be at the LA Hacienda venue until 2pm. Only complaint was the king bathroom's shower drain was pretty slow. Overall loved the house!
