Grand Victorian Suite - min 30 nights

I am very happy that your stay was so great! Setting and managing expectations are the keys to a successful stay. We pride ourselves for cleanliness, comfort and attention to details and I am happy that our efforts get noticed. We feel fortunate to live Downtown, in a residential area, with mature trees that protects us from the city noise. We are walking distance (2-3 min) to top restaurants, major attractions, pubs, fancy shops and ethnic eateries. Every day feels like a holiday! Parks and trails are also minutes away. Bike rentals are located on our street and have stations all over the city if this is your type of adventure.

Hope to have you back Chuck.

Dear Mary and Mark: Thank you very much for your kind words. We are happy to know that your short stay here was that great. It is very easy to host guests like you, friendly and respectful. You are welcome back anytime. We love living in this Downtown neighborhood, called Cabbagetown, so close to the best Toronto has to offer. As you have seen it is a very diverse neighborhood where walking under the canopy of the old trees one can forget about the noise of the modern city. You can immerse yourself in the past looking at the old Victorian houses and yet walk to shops and modern or ethnic restaurants. Happy travels!

Dear Christina: I am very happy to hear that you had a great stay at our heritage home. Looking forward to host you in the future, as you are 5 stars guests! As you mentioned, we are located within walking distance to all what Toronto downtown has to offer (Eaton Centre, Dundas Square, St Lawrence Market, CN Tower, Flatiron building, Distillery District, Sugar Beach, St Michael Cathedral, theaters, shops and restaurants, hospitals etc). Our guests are using a car just for trips outside the city (Niagara Falls, Blue Mountain, Canada Wonderland etc). This summer Toronto is on fire with the free PanAm concerts and fireworks. Hope you get a chance to be back and enjoy it.

Many thanks for your kind words and recommendation. We are a quiet professional couple and our home is a reflection of our personalities and love for art and interior design. Safety and cleanliness are top priority for us. Living Downtown we are close to all the amenities you mentioned above, but tuck in on a nice street with mature trees and Victorian homes, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy metropolitan city.

Thank you for your kind words Oliver! We are glad that you appreciated the quietness and cleanliness we offer with pride here in our home. I checked again the description and I am not sure how the translation was on the German website, however it is very well described as a luxury room with private bathroom on the second floor of a Victorian home. We are very well located in the residential area of Downtown, minutes to Yonge and Dundas Square (10 min), Distillery District (15 min), St Lawrence Market (18 min)etc.

Dear Eva. Many thanks for your kind words. They are just melting my heart! Come visit again. Best, Dana

Dear Denyse. I am very happy to see that you had a wonderful time at my home. You are welcome back anytime. See soon. Best, Dana

It was our great pleasure to host you as well! I am very happy that your stay was so memorable and we contributed to it. Many guests think of Downtown the Financial District only with high rises, however we are very fortunate to live here, in the residential area of Downtown, with mature trees that protects us from the city noise, yet close enough to walk to great restaurants, major attractions, pubs, fancy shops and ethnic eateries. Every day feels like a holiday! Parks and trails are also minutes away. Our home is a detach Victorian home not a townhouse, however here we have some infills next to us. Bike rentals are located on our street and have stations all over the city if this is your type of adventure. No car is need it unless you would like to venture outside the City (a trip to Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake, or Blue Mountains or Wasaga Beach etc). See you soon!

Yvette, it was such a pleasure to host you and your beautiful daughter! We love sharing our lovely Grand Victorian home (140 years old) full of original features and character with our guests. It's great to be walking distance to everything, and still in a residential area where one can enjoy a peace and quiet time. We are a short walk (2min) to this lovely and free Botanical Conservatory and 15 min walking to the Historic Distillery District, where shopping for shoes and art can go together.

Many Thanks Lisa! It was very easy to host great guests like you. Our street was busy today with another movie filming, called Ransom (a drama series). You should watch it next year on CBC to remember the lovely Grand Victorian Home you stayed at. A great selection of eateries and restaurants are 2-10 min walking. I always like to share with my guests my local knowledge of the area.
