Seaside One Bedroom Suite - Grande Bay Resort, St. John

Welcome to Seaside at Grande Bay Resort! Located on beautiful St. John, also known as the jewel of the U.S. Virgin Islands. St. John is a volcanic island offering white sand beaches, turquoise waters, mountain vistas and historical ruins. The Virgin Islands National Park encompasses over half of the island's nineteen square miles. Surrounded by coral reefs and seagrass beds, St. John offers excellent snorkeling from shore as well as diving excursions. If you prefer to hike, there are over twenty maintained hiking trails for your enjoyment.

Your home away from home at Grande Bay is located WATERFRONT and offers an unobstructed view of Cruz Bay Harbor. Enjoy breakfast or dinner on the balcony while listening to the waves lapping the shoreline. For your convenience, our condo can be reserved as a two bedroom unit with a full kitchen and two bathrooms, a one bedroom unit with a full kitchen and one bathroom or as a studio unit with a kitchenette and full bathroom. We offer three private balconies to enjoy the outdoors and also a shared pool deck with swimming pool and hot tub. The resort also offers a spacious exercise room with new equipment (even a Pilates machine!) that offers ocean views. Grande Bay is staffed 24 hours a day to answer any questions you may have or assist with your vacation.

Having the convenient location of being right in Cruz Bay allows you to walk to shops, restaurants, bars and even some beaches at your leisure. We also provide a reserved parking space in our covered and secure garage if you prefer to rent a vehicle. The parking space is reserved for the one bedroom suite or when the entire two bedroom suite is rented. It is not available for the studio suite.

We enjoyed being so close to road for optimal view. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The pillows were the only thing that could use an upgrade.

Perfect location

Our stay at Tracyā€™s one bedroom in Grande Bay was perfect! We were there for 10 days and the provided parking spot allowed us to rent a jeep and truly explore all that St John has to offer. It was the perfectly located to easily walk to dinner and drinks at night. The condo is well situated and has all that you need to prep meals at home, too. An added bonus for our long stay. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to STJ.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Seaside Suites! The condo has everything you need from dishes to coolers to noodles and gear for the beach! This wasn't our first stay and won't be our last! We love this suite being so close to town, has parking and a balcony with a beautiful view!

Excellent location with the comforts of home

This was our 14th trip to St. John. We love staying at Grande Bay because it's central to virtually everything we do on the island. It's near our favorite restaurants and the taxi stand. Plus we don't have to rent a vehicle. It's easy to walk everywhere. The suite is lovely. Very comfortable and homey. We want to give a shout-out to Landlubber Logistics who provided excellent service, as well. We definitely recommend this beautiful suite for anyone who wants a place to call home for as long as they're visiting this beautiful island.

Convenient Location

Seaside had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. Tracy thought of everything and was always available if we had questions. The location was perfect for getting around the island. We could walk to restaurants, bars and shops. Taxis were always available for going to all the beautiful beaches. Loved the Windmill Bar and the beautiful views. Will definitely stay here again when we return.

Perfect place to stay for girls trip

Iā€™ve stayed at Seaside several times and it has been excellent each time. For this trip I was with 3 good friends. We had plenty of room for the four of us. We cooked some meals in and ate at restaurants the rest of the time. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, spices, etc. We all enjoyed sitting on the spacious balcony and watching the boats in the bay. Tracy is always easy to deal with and was available to answer any questions we had. Grande Bay is in a perfect location in Cruz Bay which makes it easy to walk around the downtown area with no need for a vehicle. I look forward to staying in Seaside suite again for the next trip!

Great location!

Recently stayed 3 days in st john at the Seaside. We took our 22yr old daughter for her birthday. This is an incredible condo with all amenities right in Cruz Bay. My husband and I were very pleased with our choice. Rachelle met us at the dock and escorted us and took our luggage to the condo which was greatly appreciated. Everything we wanted was in walking distance and we rented a jeep to go to the beaches that were not. Tracey is very easy to work with and condo was very clean and well stocked. We will definitely stay here again when we are lucky enough to come back to st john.

AMAZING!

This is our third time to St John and every time we come we stay at this property and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The condo/suite is perfect location (very short walk-blocks) to downtown, all the restaurants, and activities. You can hop on a Taxi to any of the beaches throughout the island. The condo/suite is very spacious, clean, updated and has everything you would ever need for your vacation including coolers and chairs to take to the beach. The view off the covered patio is amazing and so peaceful for morning coffee or a sunset glass of wine. The owners of the property are wonderful and exceptionally helpful with any local questions about activities, restaurants, shopping etc. as they live on the island and have first hand knowledge. We will definitely be back and can not recommend staying anywhere else other than this Seaside One Bedroom Suite!!

Absolute convenience and great location

The condo was in the perfect location for us. It's the first unit closest to Cruz Bay on the first floor. We just walked down the one flight of stairs and were right in Cruz Bay by the restaurants and water activities. We standup paddle boarded and scuba dived and it was literally steps from the condo to go out each day. Stepping out to the restaurants was always a quick walk and didn't have to move the car! There was parking on the main ground floor just under the condo unit, so it made that easy too. The bed was super comfortable and we both slept very well. Washer and dryer in the unit were a plus, so we didn't have to pack so much luggage. Everything was very clean in the unit. There were plenty of utensils and pots/pans, etc... to cook with.

Perfect Lodging

The rental was exactly as described and illustrated. Super clean and well-stocked with everything one needs. Perfect location, truly. A 2 minute, if that, walk into town, yet far enough away to be beyond the hubbub. The unit is way close to both the garage and exit, so no lost valuable time. Quiet, quiet, quiet. Pleasant welcome at the ferry dock by Cindy and Mike. Helpful quick orientation too. Communication with the unit's owner couldn't have been better. Very nice (and professional). You don't want to stay anywhere other than Cruz Bay, unless you can afford a very pricey and exclusive accommodation. We rented a jeep, which I heartily advise, so you can check out Coral Bay and all the beaches. We'd stay here again without question.

Perfect Location

We have stayed on St. John multiple times and we must say that you cannot beat the location of this rental. It is so convenient to all of Cruz Bay and the parking space was a treat! The condo was clean and very well appointed and Tracy provided us with everything that we needed. We definitely want to stay here again. Thanks again for everything!

Fabulous condo on Cruz Bay

We stayed at Seaside 11/5/22/-11/12/22. The unit is so convenient to town, restaurants, beaches. The unit was clean and comfortable. We rented the 1 Br suite. There are beach chairs, coolers, beach towels for your use. The kitchen is completely ready for meals in if you desire. The mattress was comfortable (both my husband and I have chronic back issues) The ice maker worked great. We ordered our grocery supplies from Landlubber since we were not renting a car. It worked out perfectly and was so great not to have to go to the store after a 12 hour trip getting there. There are lots of little extras, like coozies in the drawer, toilet paper for the week, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent. This was a perfect spot for 2 people. It would be a bit tight for any extras. The property manager answered all of my questions and emails promptly. Great place to stay.

Fabulous stay!

Rarely does a VRBO experience exceed expectations, but this beautiful, perfectly set up, terrifically located property did so. The place is bigger than it looks in pictures, and has everything (and I mean everything!) you might need for a restful stay in St. John. (And yes the washer-dryer worked great.) It was an easy, level 5-minute (at most) walk to town, restaurants, taxi-stand, park visitor center, etc. etc. but given its locale I found it surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The view from the balcony over the harbor was soothing and lovely. And the pool on top of the admin building boasted a gorgeous view, particularly of sunset. After a day of snorkeling or hiking or sight-seeing, it was a great spot to relax and reflect on the day. I ended up being there by myself and felt safe and comfortable at all times. I didn't rent a car but found the wonderful Chico (whom Tracy recommended) a reliable driver (even for a 6:45 am bird walk!) as were the many other open-air taxi drivers in town that took me all around the island for snorkeling, hiking and boating adventures. Tracy was extremely responsive to any inquiry, and I couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. Will definitely stay here again and recommend highly to others.

We have been visitors to St. John since our first trip in February of 2002. Since that visit, we have been back at least once a year and have shared the island with our children, friends and family members. We know that we are blessed to be able to realize our dream of owning property on St. John. We feel that we have found our place in paradise and we love sharing it with others.

We searched for years for the perfect place on St. John and came to love Grande Bay. The location right in town can not be beat. For us, the perfect day includes making breakfast, heading to a beach or two then coming home to clean up and head out to enjoy dinner. Grande Bay provides us with all the amenities of home with a full kitchen, large showers, comfortable furnishings and an easy walk to the perfect restaurant or bar. We know that you will love it as much as we do!

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

When we have the opportunity to stay at Grande Bay, we enjoy having breakfast on the balcony while listening to the waves and watching Cruz Bay come to life. We love taking the beach chairs and coolers to a different beach each day and snorkeling or hiking up to Ram Head or along another amazing trail. We enjoy all the comforts of home along with staff that will assist us or answer any questions we might have. If we decide to forgo the beach, we have the option of relaxing on the pool deck and enjoying the pool and hot tub. We especially like parking our rental car and walking into town less than 100 yards for a delicious meal or island drink.
