Private Nature Getaway

This is a great property to get away from everything and enjoy nature in a private setting. The property was very beautiful and very clean. I would recommend this for those who want privacy!

Quiet Relaxed Stay

The cabin was very nice, clean & comfortable. It was nice being surrounded by the woods with trails and pond on the property. The host was very responsive to any questions that we had.

Great cabin, sort drive to the main Hocking Hills hikes. Family had a fun relaxing stay and hope to return.

Ronny was the perfect host. Everything was so clean and orderly, and when we ran into an issue he responded quickly and even came out to fix it. He was so friendly and kind. The cabin was wonderful and well taken care of. Absolutely would stay there again!

Don't hesitate to book!!

We were looking for a relaxing 4 days. A soon as we walked in - impressed to say the least. I have stayed in some pretty high end properties and this as the most efficient, well stocked property I have been to. Bring clothes, food, maybe some fishing poles, that is it....and you're in paradise. The property manager is exceptional, and the property is so dependable - you can really see the effort put into this home... already booking again!!

Private and peaceful, with all of the amenities! Superb location.

We enjoyed the clean, comfortable cottage nestled in the pines with plenty of area to explore right on the property. The amenities were among the best we've experienced in our many stays in the Hocking Hills. So much space in the kitchen! We especially appreciated the drinking water dispenser, of all things. Hiking on the property was a lot of fun, too! The host was very responsive, mainly as we were coordinating a late check-in. The "real" Jacuzzi hot tub was also a delight. Thank you!

New Year getaway

We needed a short post-holiday getaway, something lowkey, easy and peaceful. With our 2 dogs, we also wanted space to walk & enjoy nature. This was perfect. It was the perfect size- easy to find, enter and relax. We cooked dinner one night (ordered local pizza the next) and I brought some items we might need, wasn’t even necessary- The kitchen had the random items I questioned after all! Would book again!

We loved the privacy, amenities, and areas around the cabin.

First, we appreciated the dog friendliness here. The updated kitchen and bath were greatly appreciated as well as a hot tub and firepit. We had everything we needed including filtered water for hikes, Keurig coffee to start the day, and the kitchenware was nicely organized and labeled. I also appreciate that check out was a breeze. Improvement needed for internet, it went out the third night and there was no way to even communicate with the host since there was also no cell service there.

The Cabin was AMAZING, comfortable, modern, clean, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay

Upon arriving at the easily located spot, you are welcomed with the pure bliss of Privacy. Self Check-In was easy. The Kitchen was stocked with everything cooking! Plenty of towels. Remodeled beautifully. The Hot Tub was SUPER clean. AC worked Great! Bluetooth outdoor speakers, lights, firepit, and Electric grill was provided. The rooms were clean and perfect! The listing photos don't lie, It's THAT PERFECT! It's near trails, caves, a gas station and great food. I highly recommend this cabin.

Just a few fixes would make it perfect!

2 couples dogs stayed 3 nights.Pros:-Beautiful outdoor space, very close to touristy areas-High speed, reliable wifi connection-Beautiful bathroom, clearly recently updated-Host was very responsive and accommodating with special requestsCons:-Floors were dirty: our white socks were black after walking around and settling in for about an hour -Missing silverware (3 spoons for 4 guests means a lot of washing dishes)-Missing cooking spray (only an issue when you're in the middle of preparing a meal and need it)-The rungs on the ladder leading to the top bunk in bedroom is stable for children, not adults-Chimney dripped all night during rain, keeping us awake and leading us to have to move all of our stuff at 2 AM when we realized where the dripping was coming from-Electrical outlet next to bed did not work, leading to an extension cord purchase to plug in medical supplies on the other side of the bedCons that the host has no control over:-Neighbor's dogs barking until about 2 AM both nights we had a fire outside (in our experience, this was not a quiet property)These cons are mostly easy fixes and I would consider staying again because the host of this property is wonderful. It needs a good deep clean, restocking and some maintenance. The only reason I wrote a review is because there were 10 "perfect" reviews at the time of my booking and that was not my experience.

Michelle, Thank you for the feedback. We take your feedback and strive to provide a better service for future stays. We have changed cleaning company to a new one to improve clean services and also to provide for better inventory of items needed along with report missing items. -The floor is Luxury Vinyl and the cleaning company mops it every clean. -Restocked Silverware and cooking spray. -The bunk ladder is primarily meant for kids but it can handle 220Lbs of weight if adults are going up there (Although an adult will not properly fit up on the bunk) -A new roofer is replacing the chimney boot to address the Chimney leak issue. This leak is a minor leak that occurs only when there is torrential rains with barely any water that a towel can easily wipe it dry. - Electrical outlet next to bed did not work because the circuit breaker tripped. Wish you would have called prior to buying extension cords as this would have been an easy fix. -Neighbor's dogs barking has been a recent development and we have informed the dog warden of Hocking county.
