Dragonfly Glade Goat Farm w/ pond & no pet fees!

Escape to the mountains to a peaceful setting and a cozy cabin all to yourself...with goats!

Mountain peaks, apple orchards, & wine vineyards all less than 20 min. away! Lots of hiking trails nearby! Great for traveling nurses at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital-less than 15 min. Downtown Jasper-9 min.

If you want to experience the beautiful North Ga. mountains, all it has to offer and love the sights and sounds of a farm, this is the place! Our little farm and critters love to be enjoyed!
The space
AT&T and Verizon cell service works pretty good in the house, but for T-Mobile or some others you may need to use the Wifi for wifi calling. We do have wifi as well as TVs in the master and living room with Amazon firesticks.

We have room for two in the master downstairs, two upstairs on the queen bed, and there is room for one small person on the pull out upstairs in the common area.
Guest access
There is a beautiful firepit with some roasting sticks that are on the shed porch near the firepit.

There are some fish in the pond, and we hope to stock it again soon! Come back next fall and we should have some fish for you to catch!

You will have the entire home and property to yourself. Our property is fenced, so anything outside the fence is not our property.

Also, our goats are fed each day by the caretaker. You will probably never know they are there, but if you don't want them to come by and you prefer to feed the goats yourself, please let me know and we will accommodate you!
Other things to note
We love our little farm in the woods, and it is definitely has its own charm. It is beautiful in late Spring through Fall and even though it can be a little gray in the winter and early spring, it is a great getaway for peace, relaxation, and visiting some of our quaint mountain towns nearby such as Ellijay, Talking Rock, and Jasper.

Your dogs or cats are welcome in the house or in the front yard fenced area, but please, PLEASE do not allow them in the back fenced in area with the goats. Even if your four legged friend is your soul mate, they are a natural predator to goats and our goats will panic and run, increasing their heart rate, which seems like a game to pets and it never ends well.

Please note that our house is not childproof and is better for adults and older children. We do not have a safe enclosure to keep kids out of the pond. Please also be aware that as a farm with a pond and animals, there is always some element of risk.

We are in the woods which is awesome and peaceful, but other critters live around us too, so you never know what you are going to see. If you are looking for an upgrade to camping where you have clean, cozy accommodations inside with the outdoors outside, you may have found a great fit! We would love to host you in our little mountain forest oasis!
