Many guests prefer to leave the car parked and walk to meals, coffee, or local happenings. The neighborhood is particularly handy for UC Davis visitors, families, business travelers, and those arriving by train. Off-street parking is available in the driveway if you bring a car.

Downtown features a wide range of restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and local shops to discover. The Davis Farmers Market is a popular spot for fresh produce, prepared foods, and community events, and the Davis Food Co-op is just a short stroll away for groceries and essentials.

Because the home is centrally located, you may hear some daytime street activity and occasional train noise from roughly two blocks away. To help keep your stay comfortable, the house has double-pane windows, white noise machines in each bedroom, and complimentary earplugs.

Guest access

Private, 24/7 entry with a personalized code makes check-in simple and lets you come and go on your own timetable. You’ll have the entire home to yourself, including the private fenced backyard and patio, plus an in-unit washer and dryer for extra convenience. Driveway/off-street parking is available on the property.

Please note the detached garage, an interior storage closet, and a small storage unit are not accessible. Exterior cameras at the front door, back door, and driveway monitor only outdoor areas; there are no interior cameras.

Booking & Guest Requirements

* A rental agreement is required after booking. For non-Airbnb reservations, guest verification and any required deposit are handled through our third-party partner, Truvi.
* Guests who reside locally may not book without prior approval.
* No parties, events, unauthorized guests, or commercial photography/videography without written consent.

Check-In & Quiet Hours

* Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. Late departures without prior approval that delay cleaning may result in additional charges.
* Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.

Location & City Sounds

The home is located on the edge of downtown, offering excellent walkability along with some daytime activity and occasional train noise from about two blocks away. Double-pane windows, white noise machines, and earplugs are provided for added comfort.

Security & Safety

* Exterior cameras monitor the front door, back door, and driveway areas only. There are no interior cameras.
* Tampering with security cameras or serious violations of house rules may result in termination of the reservation without refund.
* Smoking, vaping, illegal drug use, fireworks, firearms, and other illegal activity are prohibited on the property.
* Smoking or vaping violations may result in a $500 fee plus applicable cleaning or damage costs.

Animals

* Dogs are welcome, and other animals may be considered with prior approval.
* Please let us know in advance if you’re bringing an animal so we can set out furniture covers and other supplies.
* Dogs should be crate-trained and not left alone for extended periods.
* A pet fee applies. Service animals are exempt from pet fees.

Property Care

* Please report any damage, loss, or other issues promptly. Guests may be responsible for costs associated with damage occurring during their stay.
* Please do not use glitter or confetti or attach anything to walls, ceilings, or woodwork.

Cleaning, Landscaping & Trash

* Stays longer than 13 days require mid-stay cleaning, during which guests must fully vacate the home.
* Landscapers typically visit every other Friday, usually mid-morning. Trash collection is also on Fridays and is generally handled by our team.
* We provide a starter supply of consumables such as toilet paper and paper towels. Additional supplies are the guest’s responsibility.

Amenities & Wi-Fi

We do our best to keep everything in good working order, but occasional mechanical or service issues may occur. If a reported amenity becomes unavailable due to mechanical failure, a $15 credit per 24-hour period may apply.

Wi-Fi is provided as a courtesy. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or provide refunds or technical support for outages outside our control.
