Waterfront location and views are great with a beach for a backyard! House is very comfortable for two families and clean but could use some updating. Driveway is as described - definitely need a higher car!

Sunset Heaven

Stunning view and private

Such a beautiful location. We wanted a relaxed get away and definitely got it. We are talking about next year already. Also very comfortable, bed and furniture are actually very comfortable which you don't always get on a rental. Be ready for a little off roading, nice long private dirt road. Thanks for sharing your home.

Perfect Views!

We had a fantastic stay here. The views were amazing, from every room in the house! The steps going down to the beach were a little tricky as they were uneven cinder blocks. There were cobwebs in the screened in porch area. Other than those two minor issues, I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Beach House

Only downside is there is no wifi which is mainly an issue when my kids need to work remotely. Our second time staying at this house - its quite an amazing place to vacation for a week!

387 Bound Brook Way was fantastic, beautiful and peaceful!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was wonderful in every way. We enjoyed the bay, seals, sunsets, and walks on the beach daily. The house has a spectacular view and is only a stone staircase (a bit rugged) away from the sand. The only update needed on the rental property listed information is that the master is a King bed and not a queen.

Beautiful and loads of fun!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a wonderful time yet again. The closeness to nature and the beauty of the surroundings left us loving our time at the house. There were several improvements over the year that made our stay comfortable. The new floor on the second floor was a problem though. I kept tripping on the several floor buckles leading to two bedrooms. I am sure, though, this will be fixed come the end of the season as the owners have been attentive to the care of the property in the past.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our third time staying at this property. We had a wonderful time - beautiful sunsets and beach was great. Management company was responsive to a few minor issues - the info said 1 of the rooms had a queen bed and it was now a king bed so we brought the wrong size sheets. They promptly sent over a set of king sheets. Also the house had no broom so they brought over a broom for us. The only other issue we had was sometimes the water pressure would be very low and showers would be difficult to take but the problem seemed to correct itself with time. Suggest they have a look at that. Otherwise our week was great and we would certianly come back next year.

Spectacular setting

This home was in a gorgeous spot - private with incredible views of Sunset Bay. The only issue was the long, bumpy drive on the dirt road to reach the property. We kept hoping that we would not encounter another car, which involved someone backing up into one of the pullover spots. It just meant less trips in and out, which was a little bit of an inconvenience. Still, we all agreed this was a small price to pay for the amazing setting. We have come to the Cape many times, but this year the mosquitoes seemed to be worse than usual. They were plentiful. You need to be prepared with plenty of repellent, and be sure to keep doors closed! The beach in this spot is very rocky - tricky getting in and out to swim. Not too much of an issue with our group, but may bother some. All in all, a great week in a beautiful home.

Disgracefully run down and in need of of complete repair

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house absolute should not be occupied until top to bottom repairs are completed.Paint is peeling, carpet is badly stained, cheap 'hardwood ' flooring has buckled and whole strips have popped up, sliding screen doors don't work. Dead mouse in the garage. The washing machine is so badly rusted that it turned everything ORANGE, ruining hundreds of dollars of clothing. The whole place looks like a frat house that's been used HARD

Hello Alexandra, As promised, we visited the property during the weekly changeover to address your remarks. Honestly, if it weren't for the small space between the floor boards visible at the foot of the stairs, the agent wondered if he were at the correct property! We have contacted the owner about the flooring which will be attended to when the upstairs carpet is replaced with similar flooring. The inside of the washing machine was wiped down with a white cloth with no evidence of rust. The home is professionally cleaned every week between guests and the agent was at the property when the cleaning crew arrived. Most importantly, the first indication we have of your dissatisfaction with the property was on the day you left. We wish you had provided us with the opportunity to assist in making your stay better while you were here! This property may not be for everyone because there is no internet or air conditioning. However, if you are looking for the perfect opportunity to unplug and immerse yourself in the euphoric tranquility of quintessential Cape Cod, then this property is for you. A week at 387 Bound Brook Way in Wellfleet is transformative for many and the reason they come back year after year.

This year we stayed in July and did not do well without AC. The rental listing reads AC but we knew going into it, that was not the case. Had a few problems but the rental company responded quickly and to our satisfaction. Some things could not be fixed like tiny biting bugs called noseeums. They can fit through screens. We were advised to spray screens with a natural bug repellant and not to leave lights on in bedrooms. This helped a lot. On days with a breeze it was wonderful, but when windows were closed up due to rain or bugs it was not great for us. If you dont mind the heat, some bugs and some wear and tear; you will enjoy the beautiful sunsets, wildlife and privacy. Im sure we will return again but at a time when the weather is cooler. If you go in the summer, bring some fans! And make a visit each night to the beach for the sunset and seal-watching.
