Terrific 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath oceanfront condo with great views of the ocean. This beautifully redecorated villa is warm and inviting offering a tropical atmosphere. Beach access is just steps away. Swimming pool, laundry, fitness center, restaurant & grill on site.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE - THE POOL AT VILLAS BY THE SEA WILL BE CLOSED FOR REPAIRS BEGINNING MARCH 24, 2026, FOR 2-3 WEEKS.

Accommodates 6.

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and some personal amenity items. These items will not be replenished during your stay.
Villas by the Sea has 3 coin-operated laundry facilities accessible with your key-cards.

PLEASE NOTE:
***Beach Access May Not Be Available At High Tide*** During high tide, please enjoy the oceanfront boardwalk OR swimming pool at VBTS or use one of the public beach access parks south of the Holiday Inn
NOTE: Rental guests are not allowed to have pets in the cottage at any time. This doesn’t imply that the rental is a completely pet-free property. If our no pet or no smoking policy is broken, a $1000 fine will be charged to the card on file AND you will be asked to vacate the property without a refund.

Beautifully decorated and gorgeous sunrise views. Very minimal cookware and the palm trees block sunrise view from the queen room facing the water.

Nice water view

The property is decent, and the view is fantastic. The lack of direct beach access is a drawback, but the walk to driftwood beach is easy. The beds could use an upgrade and the upstairs baby needs chairs!

Summer vacation

This is a beautiful property. The large oaks with draping moss made our stay special. The view was outstanding and the pool crystal clear. Management responded to our requests quickly. The short distance to Driftwood beach was also great. Great place to rest, relax and enjoy the scenery!

Tennis Tournament Getaway

Our family traveled to Jekyll for weekend tournament at the Jekyll Island Tennis Center. The condos were very convenient to many attractions and f&b that we all enjoyed.

It was ok but didn’t like having to clump steep steps multiple times each day

Beautiful view from upstairs balcony but had to drive to the Beach. I felt isolated on that end of the island.

Very comfortable beds. Biggest disappointment was that Villas by the Sea has not repaired boardwalks to the beach since Hurricane Helene. It has been several months and it should be repaired by now. The property is clean, but it needs to be updated.

Great Place at a reasonable value!!! Definitely would stay there again—. Management Co is very professional and responsive. Only upgrades needed would be beds and pillows, as well as add a shower wand to help clean the sand off :), and add a few more kitchen items and utensils. Overall Great Experience. Thank You

Weekend at Jekyll Island

Our stay at the villa was fair. Our family wanted an ocean view and a beautiful one it was, especially from the second floor bedroom. There was enough living space for us all. However, it lacked in some areas. Upon arrival we were greeted with a rodent box right next to the door. We did not know that the additional dishes/ utensils were left in the dishwasher, usually they are in the cabinets/ drawers ready for use. Comfort within the sofa and master bed was minimal. The master bedroom television remote was not in the room, we located it downstairs. Then once we turned the tv on we were unable to connect to the satellite and access tv channels. We then connected our HDMI cord from our computer to the tv to stream and discovered the tv speakers were also blown. Which made us unable to enjoy watching tv while relaxing in bed. The water pressure in hall bath (sink) was extremely low. In addition to the positives the HVAC system was awesome and the unit was supplied with enough linens and toiletries for our family during our stay.

We are also sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with the television and water pressure in the hall bath. We appreciate your creativity in finding a solution with your HDMI cord, but it’s disappointing to know that the TV speakers were not functioning properly.
