This recently renovated one-bedroom, one-bath mini-suite is a perfect little secluded slice of Jekyll heaven. Ground-floor entry with a King bed, a queen pull-out, and a great peekaboo view of the Atlantic Ocean from the living room or patio. Conveniently located to ocean, pool & restaurant.

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and some personal amenity items. These items will not be replenished during your stay.
Villa by the Sea has 3 coin-operated laundry rooms accessible with your key cards.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE - THE POOL AT VILLAS BY THE SEA WILL BE CLOSED FOR REPAIRS BEGINNING MARCH 24, 2026, FOR 2-3 WEEKS.

Our stay here was great! The unit was so nice and convenient to everything we wanted to do. It was decorated so cute and had all the necessities to make the stay so easy. It was clean and comfortable. Would love to return.

We loved our stay! Great location near driftwood beach where our grandson and his bride were married. Our three daughters had ocean front condos also, and we were all close to each other! Bathroom was very small, but for two people it was workable.

This was a nice mini-condo, suitable for a couple or family with small children. It was clean and had good amount of kitchen supplies. Bed was comfortable, and quiet at night. Parking is easy. Nice pool. Bathroom is very small, and tub/shower doesnā€™t have safety handles so may not be suitable for elderly couple or someone with mobility/balance issues. The beach access is still under repair. Looks like it is being worked on. So check if that is your goal. We didnā€™t mind walking a bit which takes you to driftwood beach. We road our bikes down on the beach and on all the great trails on the island. We had a great time.

The villa was nice - bathroom was a bit small, but appliances were modern and the furniture was clean and comfortable. We would be happy to stay there again!The only real issue had absolutely nothing to do with the villa itself - but the beach access walkways at Villa by the Sea were all closed off due to unrepaired damage from Hurricane Helene. We look forward to staying at VBTS next year and hope it is fixed by then!

Great couple getaway!

We stayed here on an anniversary trip. We loved the villa, it was clean and had everything we needed. It was the perfect size for a couple. The area is nice. I would recommend bringing a fire stick if you like to stream. They do have TVs with DirecTV though. We didnā€™t come to watch TV though, so we were unbothered by it.

Cozy Villa by the Ocean

The Villa was the perfect size. Very quiet. The ocean was just a few steps away. Driftwood beach was very close and amazing. We had one housekeeping issue at the beginning of our stay and some confusion with the host on a phone call. Was resolved quickly once clarified. Otherwise the villa was very clean.we enjoyed the golf courses and restaurants on the Island.

Relaxing, quiet stay with partial ocean view

The unit is as described and extremely clean. Bed is comfy; linens are nice. Ceiling fans appreciated. I enjoyed sitting in the small patio.The property manager rapidly responds to questions. Communications were clear and timely.Make sure you pick up groceries, toilet paper etc. before you enter the island as groceries available are minimum and expensive.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was tight but OK. Our issue was the odor we noticed when coming into the room. We guess the room was recently occupied by a heavy smoker. The smell was in the air conditioning system and if you came into the room while the air was running, you definitely noticed the odor. Parker-Kaufman, the rental agency, was responsive when called. We appreciated the responsiveness. The room cost was at the top of the room rates.

NO ACCESS TO BEACH!

Overall the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the island BUTā€¦..we booked this at least 8 months prior to our stay, considering it was the Memorial Day weekend-we were attending a wedding on the island Upon arrival we decided to take a sunset stroll-imagine our surprise when we were met with huge boulders and a beach without access- due to Hurricane Helene-no mention of it when I paid the balance I had spoken with Parker-Kaufman office at least twice to confirm. When I called them to inquire, I was told that there was a note about the lack of access on their website and they were not responsible-

Clean, ocean view!

This place was just right for us. King size bed with a walk in closet, bath tub, kitchen, pull-out couch (only suitable for kids) and a little patio with seats where you can see the ocean. You can walk to driftwood beach. The on property restaurants is supposed to be the highest ranked on the island, but we didn't try it. Large pool, not heated, but the kids didn't care! The playground is right outside the front door! A big climbing tree out back. Fitness center on other side of playground. Coin laundry a couple of buildings down. The only negative was that there was only public wifi from what I could tell. Bring coffee/coffee filters. A great location. Everything was brand new when we visited in spring 2024. Very clean and easy. We really enjoyed our stay!
