Guemes Island Beachfront Home "Once Upon a Tide"

Your Anacortes adventure begins at this 3-bedroom house. With 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, and 1 bunk. The beach is right outside your door! Bring your bikes and kayaks or boat over. We have a buoy for you to hook up right in front of our house. A 7-minute ferry ride from Anacortes to this slice of heaven. Beach views from every window in front. On a clear day, you will spy Mt. Baker in all her majesty. Spacious deck for coffee at sunrise or cocktails at sunset. A great place to unplug, recharge and get away from it all. One of the best-stocked kitchens you will find, as well as board games and sand toys.
We kindly request that no more than 6 guests enjoy our property. We share a water well with 18 other families on the beach and like the rest of the island, we conserve water and kindly ask that you do the same.
Wi-Fi- we only have one internet provider on our side of the island- we have premium broadband with 25 Mbps/3mbps this is as good as it gets.
PLEASE no pets or smoking and no gatherings.

Day trips to Anacortes- Whale Watching Tours, Kayaking Tours, Ferry Ride to surrounding islands, fishing charters and many fabulous restaurants. On Island- hiking on Guemes Island Mountain, playground on Guemes as well as tennis courts and pickle ball courts. We have a small store on the island you will see when you are getting off the ferry. They carry some groceries- no fresh vegetables or meats. Just the important things- hot dogs, s'more makings, ice cream and beverages! In the summer you may stuble upon a band playing at the store. You may also catch some music at our newly built stage located by tennis courts and playground. Laid back and the most friendly of islands. This is a family home that was built by our parents and is a special place to all of us. We kindly ask that you PLEASE treat this home as you would treat your own home.
