If breathtaking oceanfront views are what you are looking for in an oceanfront resort, then look no further! This is exactly where you need to be to make your lifelong memories.

Condo is secluded and quiet, just steps from the Pacific Ocean and is an ideal location that allows you to walk to restaurants, grocery stores and the farmer's market. Oceanfront pool is just remodeled and is absolutely serene. BBQ is just steps away to enjoy fresh caught fish or a delicious steak.

Nohonani is an intimate oceanfront complex (28 units in four story buildings with an elevator) fronting on one of West Maui's best sand beaches. Its ideal location lets you walk to restaurants, grocery shopping, and local boutiques. Hawaiian fruit grows on the grounds and is often made available to the guests. We have an oceanfront pool and our own private white sand beach. A short walk down the beach connects you with another beach that will let you walk miles of beautiful sandy coastline.

Nohonani is the place where dream vacations come true and is just 3 miles to Whalers Village, 5 miles to Lahaina town, Safeway grocery and Longs Drugs to the south. There is also a local farmers market 3 blocks south where you can pick up fresh produce and delicious açaí bowls! Please note, there is NO AC in this unit. We are located in an area where there are awesome ocean breezes and there are fans in the unit.

Feb getaway

There was building construction next door that had been ongoing for a while. Our manager was able to move us to a quieter unit. It was second floor with a nicer view. Maranda was very helpful. Both units were clean and well appointed.

Condo needs a little more TLC. Steps to the beach which was a step stool which seemed unstable were not the best, especially for anyone with mobility issues. Being so close to the ocean and hearing the pounding of the waves was wonderful and relaxing for us.

Best location in West Maui

The view is fabulous from this unit. We watched whales jumping and turtles swimming and resting on the beach right next to the retaining wall. The unit is spacious and comfortable. Really appreciate the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Also the washer and dryer. We lived to be able to walk right out the front door to watch the sea.

Great Location,

The locations is great, and the ocean outside the door cant be topped. I would go back, but there was a couple of issues. The hot water for showers would sometimes be hot, and others times luke warm, (I take short showers). Being able to hear the waves is amazing, but when they crash into the wall 10 feet out side your room It is really load. Closing the window doesn't help as there is a missing glass pane in the master bedroom window. The rooms done get dark, there is light coming in from the building lights. The master bedroom bed is very very soft, and not constant. My partner slept on there very edges to keep our back from hurting. also the back sun screes are missing there securing ties, so they are not usefull.

We've stayed at Nohonani many times but a first for this unit. It's been 4 years since we were here last & I was slightly disappointed in the unit's condition. A sinkhole just to the left of the Lanai with the caution tape was an eyesore. Missing glass panes in master bedroom are a security concern, screens that are bent and don't slide easily, duct taped drapes. & unit needs to be painted. The exterior shared the same lack of paint- especially around windows. I think Covid really allowed the maintenance to slip, as it just seemed tired as a whole today. I can put up with alot but the sinkhole should have been disclosed. The positives- it's Maui & oceanfriont. Beds very comfortable. Well appointed kitchen.. Would I stay here again? Yes, but please make some small repairs to screens, paint, replace glass panes & drapes would be nice. Dealbreakers? No You can't beat the location. I always walked past this unit when staying in other rooms & lionged to stay here- ground floor as far from pool as possible. It didn't look as nice as it did 4 years ago after a renter gave me a quick tour.

Best views

We enjoyed our stay, but quickly learned that having no AC was difficult. Sometimes the wind would blow right, but when it wasn't, no one was sleeping. There was construction, but we would sit on the wall every night to watch the sunset. The views of the turtles was amazing. If you can handle the heat, this condo is for you. Also, the washer and dryer were very helpful.

Great location

Condo was great! Beautiful views, turtles seen every day, washer & dryer a pkus & the beach chairs & beach towels were much appreciated. 1 complaint & that is the no A/C is not listed on the VRBO listing. Miranda did get us an extra fan but too hot to use kitchen oven.

Lovely location

This condo was nice and clean. There were a few things that could use some updating; the faucet in the bathroom, the toilet paper holder, even maybe the living room furniture, however, we didn’t spend much time in the condo, so those things weren’t major concerns. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was updated and had everything we needed! You couldn’t ask for a better location or views, the sunsets are breathtaking. Miranda, the property manager was easy to work with. Allowed for an early check in at noon, she text to let us know to contact her if we needed anything, which we never needed to! We had a fantastic week and look forward to returning!

Nice condo

Our view was great, but the Unit was a bit dated and the master bath needed some repairs, but it was clean and had everything we needed for our week in Maui. The beach access was in need of repair so getting down to the beach was a bit tricky. Parking was also tricky as the spots were narrow and many if the larger vehicles over parked. Would recommend the smallest car you can manage and lots of patience maneuvering into a spot.

GRADUATION TRIP

We had the best time and enjoyed the location of the property. Right on the beach and minutes away from restaurants, Lahaina, etc. Appreciated the binder of helpful hints for activities, etc. Would stay again for sure.

Family vacation

We stayed 3 weeks with daughter and 2 granddaughters. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a must for me. Prompt and fast response when called property manager. Outside patio shade wouldn’t roll back up. Had someone out within a couple hours. Would definitely rent again.

Location location location

There is nothing more amazing than waking up to the beach as your backyard. Unit was also very close to many beaches, restaurants and stores. We had a great time. I had my parents (70+) and two small kids with me. We all loved it. Sad we had to leave. The building was maintained daily and everyone really friendly.

What an amazing vacation!! This condo is clean, well equipped and overall amazing. Watching whales breach every morning, turtles, fish and MantaRays swim all afternoon and falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves - was so much more than we could have ever hoped for. Maui is our new favorite place and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much!!

Ocean front wonder.

Great location and management. Everyone was friendly and helpful during our 3 week stay. Being right on the ocean which you can see from the kitchen. We loved being on the first floor with easy access to the sea wall and beach area. We enjoyed snorkeling out front and saw turtles and a snowflake eel every snorkel outing. Most of our time was spent on the spacious patio. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a view

Aside from the property being dated and needing a few upgrades, it was spectacular!! Very happy with rental and location can’t be beat. Snorkeling with sea turtles daily, watching whales from lanai ♥️

Missed the mark

We have mixed feelings. At first glance, this place is great. On the beach, that’s good. Easy access for my mother in a wheelchair, that’s good. On premise parking with handicap spots, yes! 10 minute drive to shops and eateries, as well as 10 minute drive to beautiful nature. All of this worked for us and we were happy. However, these are our complaints: 1) anyone sleeping in the twin bed room will suffer from excessive noise that echos in the courtyard and from heat. The master bedroom is a total delight with the sound of the ocean and the sea breeze; 2) stepping down to the sandy part of the beach is tricky for elders like my mom, 3) the kitchen simply lacked useful accommodations (though they provide 2 cups of coffee), the knives are all dull, the refrigerator is temperamental, and there is a general stale smell in all the cupboards; 4) lastly, I did not feel safe, not that this is the fault of the place itself, it’s that the new reality of West Maui is lock all your doors! The property managers/owners could improve this listing by providing a daily supply of toilet paper, shampoo, soap and conditioner. Perhaps consider making small cooking oil gifts with some sugar too. Regarding the kitchen, some Tupperware would be useful too. Hope these details help you accept what you get.

The view is incredible!

This property was everything we could have imagined while staying on Maui. The oceanfront view is worth the price-you literally have the master and living room exiting to the grassy area behind the retaining wall. The only downside is there is no A/C so we learned there is better airflow through the condo if you leave the front door open while home. We would recommend this place to anyone and when we go back to Hawaii for our next trip, Miranda's condo listings will be the first place we look!

From check in to check out everything was amazing. Being right on the beach was awesome. The condo was located in the corner giving us extra privacy.. The location was close to all the activities we planned. We will definitely stay here again.

Nearly perfect

Super great location. Water's edge is only about 10 steps from the back patio, with unbelievable sunsets, and a lot of turtles. Property was clean and organized, the pool is nice to have as an occasional option to the ocean. Very very convenient to shopping, dining, lots of amazing beaches and activities. Our only issue ended up being the lack of air conditioning. AC is not listed as an amenity, but being from the US, we accidentally took it for granted. Master bedroom, master bath, living room, and kitchen were really hot, at the end of September, 24 hours a day, no matter what shades and fans we employed. Otherwise, this is an A+ rental, and we recommend to anyone who is cold-natured.

Fantastic Condo

I might be leaving 2 reviews by accident, but the condo is great. I love the location on the ground floor at the corner. Very private. The grill is right off the back. Swimming in the ocean daily, cooking our own dinner, and enjoying the amenities. One thing- I would recommend to the owners a mattress topper for the master mattress. You’ll love this condo! We’ve been coming 10 years now 💕
