We were 5 adults and 3 children (ages 5, 2 1/2, and 4 months)
The house was wonderfully suited to accommodate all of us. It is spacious and open, bright and cheery. The french doors across the back open onto the heated pool, which is comfortably 4' deep throughout. The bedrooms (4 on the second floor and one on the first floor) are all en suite and were stocked with toilet paper and bars of soap. The kitchen had all the essentials...maybe a blender would have been nice to have (if I'm to offer criticism). Also, the oven had broken just prior to our arrival, but the rental agency purchased a countertop oven, which worked out just fine!
The backyard BBQ was also nice to have. The porch was a great place to spend time outdoors.
One thing to point out: This house is also for sale, so may not be available in perpetuity. I do hope that whoever purchases it will restore it to its previous splendor, as there is a lot of work needed (ie. floors, kitchen, bathrooms)
The neighborhood: This private, gated community oozes with charm! I personally wouldn't stay in any other Key West neighborhood...seriously. It is quiet and serene; yet only a couple of blocks from the hustle and bustle of Duval Street.
