The room was super clean and welcoming Hawaiian motif . The view was lovey and the location felt safe. The pool is scheduled for a much needed upgrade and was our only disappointment.. since it did not look inviting, I would definitely come back and tell my friends this would be a great place to stay while visiting Hilo.

This is a centrally located and beautifully landscaped property that overlooks the waiākea pond with the Wailoa river state recreation area in the distance that can be reached over a beautiful arched bridge. The unit was clean and big enough for two adult couples. Having two bathrooms was a bonus, though the master bath needs a little care. This is our second stay in the Hilo Lagoon Center and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Planned to spend 4-nights in The Big Island and chose Hilo because of proximity to what we would be seeing/doing. This condo was a perfect base for our time on the island. Beds/pillows were comfortable, laundry (coin operated) was just across the hall, and even a coffee shop on the first floor. Easy communication with the host made for a seamless trip.

Clean and comfortable in a great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great unit, clean and pretty recently updated. The location is convenient to pretty much everything in Hilo. Not quite walkable to the downtown tourist area but you could if you really wanted. Beds and showers were good and we appreciated the beach chairs to take out for adventure. Our only missing item to suggest they add is a coffee grinder in case you want to buy and enjoy some great island grown coffee!

We loved this stay in Hilo. The apartment was excellent, very clean and comfortable, great for our family of 4. Bright and nice view from the balconies. The host was very welcoming. The location is very good as it’s not the middle of downtown, but still close to several restaurants by car. It has a nice coffee shop in the lobby, convenient for breakfast and an also convenient vending machine on the basement of the building. The pool area needs lot of improvement. Hilo is a convenient location to stay if going to Volcano National park and/or waterfalls and still having options for food. Overall I recommend the place.

Clean and updated unit. Laundry room was conveniently located on same floor. great location near downtown Hilo. great for getting to the major tourist sites. the property management company has excellent customer service.

This is a nicely appointed condo for two couples to stay. It is squeaky clean! Lovely views of the lagoon. The host is very responsive too. We really enjoyed our time there and touring Hilo. Thanks for hosting us!

The building is old and tired, but the unit is fantastic. Recently had a very nice remodel. Excellent interior decorating. Very well equipped. Beautiful views!

The hotel location was conveniently located for what we wanted to see. The decor of the condo was very tasteful. Loved the view from the lanai. Peaceful. Very clean condo and appreciated the cleaning tools on site to help maintain everything.
