Calling these “luxury apartments” is ambitious. A white kitchen doesn’t make a property luxury when the overall experience says otherwise. We stayed on the 5th floor for 5 nights, and the elevators were out of service on 3 different days due to maintenance. That meant hauling my family’s luggage down five flights of stairs, then carrying groceries back up another day while preparing for a boat trip. They were usually fixed by the afternoon, but that doesn’t undo the inconvenience. The apartment looks like the photos from a distance, but up close the lack of attention to detail is obvious. Spiderwebs on arrival, crooked door handles, a broken iron that leaked water onto clothes, thin garbage bags that ripped with paper plates, cheap towels, only two rolls of toilet paper for the entire stay, one laundry pod despite having a washer, and just two replacement trash bags. It’s death by a thousand paper cuts.To be fair, management was responsive every time I reached out, and I appreciate that. But after the fifth or sixth issue, responsiveness isn’t enough—you start wondering why there are so many problems to begin with.If you’re 25, plan to spend your trip partying, and just need somewhere to sleep, you’ll probably be fine. If you’re looking for the “luxury” experience being advertised, save yourself the disappointment and book elsewhere.
