We had a great stay. The home was super clean and access was very convenient. The home was beautiful and very well appointed. It was a great place for our annual sibling get together (six couples). Nanci was very informative and we were well prepared for our visit.We would definitely stay here again on a return visit to the area.

This was such an excellent experience. Nanci thought of every thing. Every detail had such kindness put into it. She was an excellent host!! If we are ever back in the area we would definitely love to stay again!! So clean so organized. Can’t say enough good things!!! Thank you Nanci for making our trip perfect!

This is the most wonderful house I have ever stayed in and the host is the absolute best. The house is so creatively renovated- everything is perfect. And we all appreciated the private spaces.

The house was amazing and there was something interesting in every corner. The hosts were great at communication and made the process of checking in and out very easy. The house was stocked with anything we could need, they went above and beyond.

This amazing, four bedroom, four bath house is filled with charm, design and beauty. We loved the multiple living rooms, two dining rooms and outdoor space. Congratulations on getting it right! We loved this place and can't wait to come back!The kitchen was the heart of our college reunion weekend.

Wonderful stay! We loved the property- it was beautifully decorated and very cozy on a cold weekend in NY. The attention to detail across the house was amazing. Each room was very thoughtfully decorated and had its own personality. We would love to return.

The house was perfect for our cousins birthday trip. The attention to detail was amazing. The amenities were excellent. Well stocked kitchen allowed us to easily cook meals . Decor was whimsical yet functional. Mattresses were comfy. Communication with owner was terrific.

What a great and fun house to stay in when traveling to the Hudson Valley! Extremely well stocked, (including snacks!!), spotless, and so very comfortable. Communications with Nanci could not have been better - she has the best online guide to the house we have ever seen. My wife, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will book again for our next trip! Thank you again, Nanci for everything!

The house was perfect- beautiful setting, immaculate, well appointed, perfect location. We had plenty of room to chill, lots to do in area. Check-in was easy, We plan to make vacation an annual event. The host was so descriptive we had no issues.

Great stay!

Property was just as described and very comfortable for our group of 6 with 3 generations. Definitely one of the more thoughtful places we have stayed at--well stocked kitchen, enough towels, comfortable beds with good amount of blankets. The art and painting was beautiful too. We would return.

Artful retreat

We had a lovely time at the Gemstone House. There was plenty of room for our family of five, and every detail was attended to. We will come back!

We had a lovely weekend stay at this stone house with our family. There were a lot of lovely artistic touches throughout the house and it was obvious it was well cared for. The hosts have gone above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. Kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked and lots of lovely "welcome" items in all the rooms. Would definitely recommend staying here again.

Charming house

We loved staying here because it was spacious and clean. We choose this house because it was within an hour of Legoland. I loved how each room had queen beds because that made it easier on who got what room. The house was beautifully renovated and they left a lot of the original character and mixed modern touches in perfectly. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a truly wonderful time at The Gem Stone Home! Our family of eight was able to comfortably stay here, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Everything was exceptionally clean and well cared for. Check-in and check-out were simple and stress-free. The location was perfect—centrally located to everything we wanted to do. The owners, Nanci and Jim, were fantastic—so easy to work with, responsive, and kind. The home had everything we needed and more. It was the ideal setting for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming New Paltz home! The house is beautifully designed and thoughtfully decorated, with every detail taken care of—even down to toiletries in the bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved cooking meals with fresh ingredients from local farm stands. Evenings around the fire pit in the backyard were so special for family time, and we also enjoyed cozying up to watch movies together at night. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. We’d highly recommend this home and would love to return!
