This condo is equipped with everything you would want/need for your stay, from fully set up kitchen, full size washer/dryer, TV in living area, electronics, iron/iron board, beach gear, free internet, linens, etc. The large second floor lanai is the most wonderful place to watch the whales during season, enjoy Maui's amazing sunsets or just to sit and enjoy a beverage and book. BBQ grills are on site to cook that great meal. A large pool and hot tub are located in the center of the complex, for R&R on the days you want to soak up the Maui sun.

Great property in Kihei

The property was very nice, and well located in Kihei. We were right across the street to a beach access and down the road from numerous restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities. This proved to be a great place to stay!

Everything needed for a good vacation

Really great spot in Kihei; right across from a historic fishing pond where sea turtles come in for the night! The space itself had all the basics needed for a great stay/vacation, including some thoughtful bonuses like a cooler and beach chairs. Would definitely stay again

Cute little place close to the beach. Definitely a great location! Loved the chairs and umbrella that was there to use on the trip. There is a pool and hot tub although we didn’t use it. Definitely would stay here again. Has everything we needed for a great trip.

Nice little complexin North Kihei. Easy access to and from the highway to get around the island. We preferred the beaches in Ulua and Makena to the beach across the street

Best kept secred on Maui

I have stayed at Kihei Bay Vista at least 10 times. This unit has the nicest furnishings of all the units. To the owners you really need to update the towels, both beach an bathroom. They were really ragged. Also needing up dated is the beach gear such as chairs. Costco has great buys on both. We did leave for the next people to visit a childen beach bucket an gear. Thanks again for letting us visit.

Excellent Condo across from Beach

My husband and I stayed at this condo for 9 nights while visiting Maui. We found the area to be perfectly located for everything we needed. The condo itself was perfect for our needs and the property manager really thought of everything! The condo was fully stocked for us to be able to cook meals every night. The quality of all of the kitchen and bathroom items including towels were excellent. It was so nice having a washer and dryer in the condo! The pool is directly downstairs and super convenient. Everyone we encountered at the condos were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone who wants to spend an extended time in Maui!

Kihei Bay Vista

We have stayed at Kihei Bay Vista for the past 11 years. This was one of the nicer units as far as upgrades. The tile flooring, nice cabinets, comfy bed, ice maker and screen door were some of the appreciated amendments. Although I will say the couch was the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE piece of furniture, EVER, was hard to just relax in the living area. Not sure if the owners have had some childish renters there before but the labeling on EVERYTHING, where the cups go, plates, towels, wash rags, hangers etc. etc.....sure insulted ones intelligence. As far as the outside goes it has gone downhill with the upkeep. The parking lot, sidewalks used to always be kept clear of sand and grass, not the case anymore. The building could use at least pressure washed or painted. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and like being on the northern end of the S. Kihei Rd., it is quieter and less populated.

Fantastic stay despite local challenges

The condo was perfect for our needs. My partner has dietary challenges so the kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed to cook meals. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the pool and hot tub and used it every day! The only drawbacks were a sticky shower control which eventually snapped off and crumbled. For myself, I have allergies and I found the scent of the towels and bedding overwhelmingly strong and perfumed. I was worried about getting a rash from these. The main issue during our stay was the local flooding and road closure. We were right on the cusp of not being able to get into the driveway several times due to the location of the road closure. It was quite stressful to constantly navigate around this (and we know this is beyond your control!) coupled with the time the water was shut off. We were very thankful that someone had left a large jug of drinking water in the fridge because that saved us. We noticed other patrons using buckets of water from the pool to flush the toilet. The traffic in the area prevented us from really enjoying the area, unfortunately, as my partner had visited before and said the storms really affected the local beaches, etc. Too bad, but we really did enjoy our stay. Thank you for everything!

Fit our needs

Overall it was a well stocked condo. I would have liked a few more beach items. Other units had boogie boards, ours had a few beach chairs. This unit is pretty close to the road so you did get traffic noise when out on the lanai. The labels on EVERYTHING was a little off putting. Didn't feel very homey with labels for the bowls, plates, etc. I can understand marking the extra bedding in the closet, but I think people should be able to figure out where to put the dishes back. I liked the location being in North Kihei. Easy to get around to other places on the island. Nice quiet pool area and the BBQ's were great. We stopped at Safeway the first day there because it was close, but later found a Walmart. Definitely shop at Walmart for your groceries. They aren't a Super Walmart, but have the basics for much less than Safeway. A little outdoor "flea market" is within walking distance and they had a very nice vegetable stand. Not thrilled with the information provided by Paradise Vacations. Received a rental car quote for a one day rental. We were never told we would have to pay a shuttle fee to the airport and we were told they would pick us up to get the car. Well not after 5:30. So the extra bus fare and shuttle put our rental up to $80.00 for one day. I felt they could be more detailed when you ask for a quote. The items mentioned above about the condo were very small items so I would rent this unit again.

Comfy and well maintained, for our one month stay

Kihei Bay Vista is a convenience, quiet and comfortable complex, which we've stayed at several times. This was our first stay in this unit. It was comfy and well-maintained. It has all the needed started stocks, and we purchased our month of supplies at Costco, Safeway, Foodland for a relaxing stay in Maui.

Loved the beach across the street. Centrally located. Constant street noise, woken by upstairs neighbors between 5-6am. Yelled at by neighbors in the afternoon. Notes on everything that could and could not be done. Internet issues constantly. Out for a full 12 hours with no response from property manager until Monday morning. It took the full 2 weeks that we were there to resolve it.

The place was great. Kathy and team were wonderful. The only thing we didn’t love about the location was the sand whips in pretty fierce in the afternoon. But all good. Would stay there again :)

Nice place for a reasonable price

The condo is in a nice location a little ways down the road from the busy parts of Kihei. It was quiet and clean, and the ocean views from the lanai were great. The only downside is the somewhat dated decor, but we made a bit of a game out of counting how many pineapples/palm trees were in the unit. And since the unit is so clean and functional, the decor isn’t actually a problem. It was nice to have Tupperware to take lunch to the beaches and the beach towels and chairs were appreciated. The beach right across the street made swimming every morning easy, and the pool was a nice spot to refresh yourself in the evening after a busy day. Maui itself is a lovely island and we had a great time exploring, hiking and snorkeling.

Perfect Paradise in Kihei

Words cannot express how much we loved this property. The owner has gone above & beyond in my opinion for their guests to be comfortable & have a perfect stay. The unit has everything you need from beach accessories, to a fully loaded kitchen, to a comfy bed, & a beautiful partial ocean view as listed. We ate breakfast I would say half our stay on the lanai. Loved it. It is also located close to many eateries & plenty of souvenir shopping. This place was the perfect home away from home in paradise. We celebrated our 22 year anniversary & we loved every minute of our stay here in Maui. Again I want to say thank you to the owners for a perfect stay. I definitely want to request this unit again when we come back to Maui. Aloha & Mahalo No ka Oi

Lovely accommodations and great location

My husband and I rented this condo for one week in April 2019. We were on our honeymoon and this condo was perfect. Very spacious and clean, with very helpful instructions written throughout the condo. The location was great and free parking was a bonus. The complex felt safe and neighbours were very friendly. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone!

Great Location

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Location was excellent but the cost of being close to the ocean is the street noise. We like to sleep with the windows open rather than the air on so it was a bit to get used to. Condo was clean and well stocked with everything you need...just add groceries!

Very happy with this spot!

This was the perfect spot for our trip. We were looking for somewhere we could wind down each night with a drink on the patio, do some grilling and soak in the hot tub. This spot offered it all and even a short walk to the beach where we saw turtles! Everything in the condo was great. Having “start up” supplies like garbage bags, olive oil and seasonings really helped so we didn’t need to overbuy supplies. The place was spacious so I really appreciated having such a great spot to come back to each night. The location of this condo was perfect. It’s pretty easy to get anywhere on the island but mostly everything we needed/wanted (grocery store, beach, shave ice, brewery) were all 20 or less minutes away. Only things that were meh: WiFi didn’t work well (we got over it and didn’t try too hard to fix it) the couch was uncomfortable so we spent more time on the patio (those chairs have been upgraded from the photo) or at the dining table.

Vista Bay Kihei

So we did enjoy where we stayed in Kihei but found the road noise a bit more than we like. We would stay at the site again, but move down a few condos. One of the bigger issues I wanted to pass comment on is about the towels. They need to be replaced. We were left with absolutely ratty towels. They are old, torn and they have no pile to them anymore. It was a bit surprising since most other stuff was in decent shape. Also, I think the owner needs to state a little clearer about guests replacing what they use. We have stayed in rental condos before and always replace what we use, but we were left with nothing in regards to laundry soap, soap, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, etc. So we ended up going and buying all of it upfront. It certainly adds to ones shopping bill. Is the cleaning person suppose to completely empty out the fridge? Where we have stayed before, there were some condiments left in the fridge for use (again, if you use it up, you replace it). It is just a hassle to have to buy everything like BBq sauce, ketchup, mustard etc when you are only there a short time. We had just had people ahead of us, but the fridge was left completely empty. Thanks for the follow up!
