The Space: Welcome to The Cottingham Cottage, a warm and inviting home centrally located in Mount Pleasant and perfectly positioned for exploring the best of the Charleston area!

On the first floor, you’ll find a bright and welcoming living space designed for relaxing and spending time together. The spacious living room offers comfortable seating, a large flat screen TV, and a chest of games for fun evenings in. Just off the living room, the dining area features a generous table with seating for six, making it perfect for shared meals and entertaining. The recently updated kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample counter and cabinet space, and a cozy table ideal for morning coffee or working remotely. From the kitchen, step out to the fully fenced backyard and patio, a great spot to unwind and enjoy Charleston’s beautiful weather. A convenient half bath and a full size washer and dryer are also located on the first floor.

Upstairs, you’ll find three light filled and comfortable bedrooms along with a full bathroom. The primary bedroom features a king bed with hotel quality linens and direct access to the bathroom, which includes a large vanity and a tub and shower combination. The bathroom also opens to the hallway and includes a separate vanity, offering added privacy. The remaining two bedrooms feature a queen bed and a full bed, each thoughtfully furnished for a restful stay.

Parking is easy with space for two vehicles located to the right of the home.

Other Notes: *Pet fee: Our home is pet friendly. We have a $200 per pet fee. We limit to 2 dogs in the home and we have a very strict no cat policy. Only dogs are allowed at the home. Please be sure to add the dog to your guest count when booking and reach out for permission to bring the second dog before booking. 

*We provide starting supply for coffee, toiletries, trash bags, tide pods, and dishwasher pods. There is a nearby store if you need to pick up more during your stay.

*If the property includes a washer and dryer, we kindly ask that you use them to refresh your towels during your stay. While you don’t need to wash towels or linens at checkout, please note that we have a limited supply and may not be able to provide extras unless the home lacks a laundry room.

*Crib and high chair available through a third party as an optional add-on and must be ordered 48 hours in advance in order to guarantee it is in the home prior to guest arrival. Inquire for information to book with the third party*

*Evacuation Policy: Get a full refund within 72 hours in case of a MANDATORY evacuation in Charleston County
