Terrific house

Loved the house, pool, beach. Wonderful vacay. Just be warned that the daily rate does not include all the extra fees which are very substantial!

Kiawah vacation house

This house is amazing. Spacious living and kitchen areas for large groups to gather. Bedrooms all very nice. This is the second time I have rented this house and will rent again. It is perfect for a large group.

Great Experience

The guys raved about the house. They enjoyed their stay and even got to see the shuttle go up while sitting on the balcony!

Awesome Home & Location

The home is excellent. The location is even better! We rented the property for our companies annual leadership meeting. The home worked prefect for it. Nice rooms, great places to meet, etc. I would love to bring my family back here as well.

2024 Family Fun

We had the best time on our 12 person vacation in this home. Plenty of room and short walk off the porch to the beach. Kids liked the pool the best. House had everything we needed including washer/dryers on all floors. Would highly recommend for a large group.

This is an annual family get together. 12 years now. First with VRBO and Akers Ellis. By far the smoothest, cleanest, best in almost all categories.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was lovely, but the property manager--Dalton-- was less than helpful when we left prescription glasses in the property. He made no effort to return the glasses to us in a prompt fashion.

Hi John, Thank you for your feedback. We are thrilled you loved the home. From our records I see that you let us know about the left behind glasses around Saturday at 9PM. We kept making attempts to contact the guests in-house and get their permission to enter the property. We finally got in touch with them on Tuesday, found the glasses that you left behind and overnighted them to you that same day. I am very sorry that you found our attempts unsatisfactory, we do understand that they were important and tried our best to return them in a timely manner.

Major Deferred Maintenance

Every pot, pan, cup, bowl, plate, utensil, etc. in the kitchen was dirty and needed to be washed before use.The washing machine in the basement has mold and debris in it.The stove vent was dripping with grease from a prior renter and needed to be cleaned.The entire house smells of mold, which is a health risk to anyone staying in the home.One of the lounge chairs by the pool is broken.The crockpot is broken and WAY TOO SMALL for a house of this size.The electric kettle has mold in it. The fridge is very rusted, and a health hazard with food being stored in a rust-filled fridge. Countless light bulbs are burned out.There was hair in the freezer.The kitchen cabinets are not cleaned. Some of the cabinet doors (and refrigerator door) needs to be sanded and repainted.The kitchen toaster is rusted on the inside and needs to be replaced.The kitchen faucet handle is broken and needs to be replaced.The kitchen towels are all stained. I re-washed them upon arriving to the house in hopes they were dirty and would come clean, but they need to be replaced.The windows looking out to the beach need to be cleaned so they don’t block the ocean view.The exterior windows and doors are covered in mold. A property manager came out at the beginning of our stay and sprayed bleach on a couple of the doors, but there is still MUCH more that needs to be done to get rid of the mold issue. The door leading to the pool and the door from the kids room to the outside were covered in mold. Too many issues

We are sorry to hear of your continued disappointment. After reviewing with our team, I see that every issues that was brought to our attention was promptly addressed. We also issued a fairly significant refund for your inconvenience. It is also important to keep in mind that your stay fell directly after a tropical storm impacted the area. After inspecting the home, it is of our professional opinions that smell you referenced was simply the beach as a result of the high tides stirring up the dunes and nearby pluff mud. We will always do our best to assist guests to the best of our ability. While do feel that we addressed all matters quickly and adequately, we are sorry that you do not feel that you were sufficiently taken care of during your stay.

Right on the ocean. Beautiful view and house. Lots of space. Kitchen and main room are a little worn.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for our family of 16. Very quiet and private beach area. House has Plenty of room for 7 kids. Kitchen is spacious and great for a big family. The house was welcoming and very clean. The pool was perfect and well taken care of. All the appliances / ice machines worked perfectly and plenty of fridge space. And there was lots of beach gear available which was a nice surprise. The property manager answered any questions quickly. I would definitely recommend this house. The only thing we didn’t realize was the kitchen comes with no staples. (Oil, salt/pepper). Other then that the House was well supplied. We had a wonderful stay.

This property was amazing! The view was spectacular, the amenities were wonderful, the place was spotless, and we all had a fabulous time! We would come here again! Everyone raved about the house, the pool, the decks, the view, and spaciousness of it all! There was a laundry room on each floor. Each bedroom had a lovely bathroom as well. I cannot imagine a better place to rent !

We had a group of 16 and never felt crowded and loved the easy access to the beach and other island amenities. The pool and spa were enjoyed by all too.
