Our stay was great! The apartment was super cute, clean, well decorated, had everything we needed and was in a great location. The owners were easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze. The diner downstairs also had a fabulous breakfast!

This property was outstanding and very well-appointed. The location is right in the heart of the Fountain District, within easy walking or driving distance of everything Bellingham has to offer. Communication with our hosts, Michaela and Anthony, was spot on, and our questions about parking were answered within minutes.The 3-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, yet cozy enough to feel like home. We loved the themed artwork of old Bellingham—it definitely piqued our interest for future research once we returned home.This is the first VRBO we’ve stayed at that truly had every amenity you could ask for, from full kitchen cookware and staples to bathroom toiletries. This will definitely be our first choice when we plan our next trip to Bellingham! Thank you, Michaela and Anthony!

Lovely apartment in a great location in Bellingham! We were going with our kids to check out open houses in the area, very centrally located as a spot to check things out. Great layout for a family.

This property is beautiful and located centrally with a cafe and several restaurants on the block. We had a fairly long stay of 8 nights and had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals plus there are laundry facilities onsite that can be used as needed. We will definitely check back for availability on our next visit!

We loved this beautiful property. It was much larger than we expected. It was well maintained. The host kept us well informed so we did not worry about arrival or departure procedures. It was located in walking distance to everything we needed. This was a great experience and we plan to book it again for future trips to Bellingham. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.

Perfect location

It was the perfect location for three couples , spacious , clean and nicely appointed. It was in a great area with easy walking access to downtown and the Mt Baker theatre .

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay in this adorable apartment! Clean, cozy and as advertised. The free coffee at the diner downstairs was very nice, as was the service and food for breakfast was great! Very responsive hosts. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect spot in Bellingham!

I love this suite! It is the second time I have stayed here, and it has been perfect each time. Very clean, perfect location, easy to access and responsive hosts. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay when I'm in Bellingham.

Great, comfy spot

Love the neighborhood, the white noise machine was great but also did not have any noise problems with the restaurant downstairs on a weekday morning. Thanks for the great stay!

A wonderful apartment

This great apartment was in an nice area with many diverse restaraunts within walking distance. If we are in the Bellingham area again, we will definately try to book this place again.

Convenient, comfortable, and fun

We lived the location-close to many restaurants and breweries and short drive into downtown. My teens lived the Foosball table. It kept us busy and laughing!

Perfect Place to Stay in Bellingham

Michaela and Anthony's apartment was a wonderful place to stay. The apartment was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The apartment is located in a safe neighborhood near numerous restaurants, grocery stores, and places to relax with a craft beer. We stayed four nights and never had to park more than 15 yards from the front door. We have extensive exprience with lodging throughout Europe and South America and highly recommend the Fountain Suite for your next visit to Bellingham!

Fountain district find

We felt very comfortable in this beautifully restored historical apartment. We were warned ahead of time about being able to hear the diner below in the morning ( they supplied noise machines and earplugs) but we found it actually very quiet. I loved the decor and the photographs teaching us some history about the building and area. Very clean and spacious.

Great, spacious apartment walkable to downtown & waterfront

The apartment was very well furnished, decorated, and comfortable. Kitchen has all the tools & cookware if you want to eat in. Easily a 15 to 20 minute walk to downtown and the waterfront to access all that Bellingham has to offer. We appreciated the natural light from all the windows and preferred to keep them open for the fresh air and breeze but it did mean there was a lot of noise from the busy street below. This was not a problem at night for sleeping though. The suite layout is nice for small groups, with a large dining room table and spacious living room area with couch, loveseat, & chair (plus a foosball table). A sweet bonus is Diamond Jim's diner below the apartment. The food is truly homemade (including jams and hot sauces) and delicious.

Spacious and well laid out apartment

The apartment was a good base for our short stay in Bellingham. It was very well laid out for us and our 2 college aged kids, and it was within walking distance of the waterfront, which has lots of cool things to do and is gorgeous. Overall the space is very comfortable, airy and pleasant.The only drawbacks were that it's on a busy street with not much in immediate walking distance (though I'm a New Yorker so am used to being able to walk out the door and have lots of options). There was a great market that was pretty close, and a few breweries within a few blocks, but not much in the way of a neighborhood within 15 mins or so in either direction. Being on such a busy street made it hard to open the windows, but the white noise machines really minimized the street noise, and we definitely didn't hear the diner noise at all. The only other things people should know are that the 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds have skylights but no windows, and there is no AC in there. If you tend to sleep hot, like I do, that can be an issue - though my kids were in there and were fine with a fan. And the last thing is that the kitchen was a little short on cooking supplies, so if you plan on cooking a lot just check to see if they have everything you need. These are just small comments, but overall it was a lovely stay!
