Unwind in our updated 2-bedroom home, just a short drive from Yosemiteā€™s south entrance. This cozy getaway has everything you need, including a full kitchen, a comfy living room, and lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Itā€™s great for families or couples looking for both fun and relaxation in nature. During your stay, you can enjoy our on site flower farm, visit our nearby farm stand, or take beautiful drives. With starry nights and peaceful surroundings, your perfect California adventure is waiting!

Sitting on a hill in Ahwahnee, our 3.8-acre property is a quiet getaway with amazing mountain views. Starting in 2025, weā€™re opening a flower farm, where guests can see thousands of colorful blooms from June to early November.

Our cozy cottage is just a short drive from Yosemite, with easy access through the South Entrance or Mariposaā€™s beautiful Merced River Canyon. Youā€™ll find everything you need nearbyā€”Oakhurst (10 miles) has grocery stores and restaurants, while Mariposa (19 miles) offers art galleries and unique places to eat.

Explore the Sierra National Forest with plenty of hiking trails, or stop by our farm stand for fresh produce, eggs, baked goods, and more. Weā€™re open daily from March to November.

Great communication with host. Very clean and welcoming. Beautiful mountain view! It was fully equipped with anything one might need. The inside was tastefully decorated. I felt very safe at the location. I will definitely stay again if ever back in the area.

Quiet and Serene Retreat

This property was quiet and serene. Perfect for relaxing after visiting Yosemite.
There is lots of natural lighting and a beautiful view of sunrises.
We enjoyed the beautiful flower mini farm.
There are plenty of games and books to entertain all ages.

Prefect peaceful stay

The views are amazing and its only 35 minutes to the south entrance of Yosemite. I had the chance to meet one of the owners and they were so nice! Easy to cook, wash clothes after a day of site seeing.

Such a great view! Fresh and airy cabin! We stayed in this Ahwanhee cabin during a recent visit to the Mariposa Grove in Yosemite National Park (27 miles away). Upon arrival, our hostess provided a bouquet of fresh zinnias to greet us! The cabin was clean, super quiet, and appointed with all of the basic amenities. We found the beds a bit stiff, but we are soft bed people. At night, we turned off the AC and opened the windows (with screens) to enjoy the cool and refreshing night air. We had a great stay!

The property is simple and beautiful, a wonderful, quiet escape. Every evening there was a small theater of wildlife that would come out and play. The owners checked in -by text- halfway through, making sure everything was going well. They were attentive and respectful. I couldnā€™t recommend it more!

Amazing View

My friends and I had a great time staying here. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. The owners were very communicative and helpful. They even left the lights on for us, since we were arriving after dark. This is a great place to disconnect from the outside world with no Tv or wifi. Phone service was good. Would stay again

Yosemite One Nighter

Booked the house for one night stay coming off a backpacking trip in Yosemite. Adam was great in responding to our questions. Only complaint would be it was a bit warm in the house, but then again it was 100 degrees outside as well.

Perfect stay for a Yosemite trip!

This was the perfect place to stay during our trip to visit Yosemite! It was close to the two of the entrances. The house fit in with the theme of our trip. Basically being really close to nature without camping outside. Home was very comfortable. No issues with temps due to having a/c in all the rooms. At first not having tv's was questionable but all in all we really didn't need it. Hell we never even used the wifi that was available to us ( our phone worked perfectly fine). We played a bunch of games that were available to us. The location was great. There's a little town right next door where you can get everything. We actually used the kitchen every night for dinner and everything works as needed. The biggest plus was the washer and dryer that was available to us. We basically left with clean clothes for the next part of our California vacation. Adam (owner) was very helpful with everything. He always responded instantly. Thanks for letting us stay at your place Adam!

Adam and Kristen moved to the Yosemite area from San Diego in 2022 and started an organic farm in 2023 called The Farm at Worman Mill. They are passionate about developing sustainable local food systems. Everything they grow is sold within 50 miles of the farm!

In late 2023 they partnered with some family members to purchase a guest house, just half a mile away from their farm. They are excited to welcome guests from all over the world, sharing their love of the Sierras and growing food with all who come.

This area has an allure. On the surface it's gorgeous views and quiet setting draw you in. Then you begin to fall in love with the native plant life and rich history.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

The house was built in the 1960s and was perfectly positioned to maximize the view facing south towards the town of Ahwahnee. The hosts purchased the property in late 2023 and began renovations immediately, completing the first phase in April 2023. With the interior refresh complete they are beginning work on the exterior landscaping with the goal of creating a tranquil retreat for guests while transforming it into part of their working farm. They are working to add an orchard on the lower half of the property and a flower farm behind the house.
