Family Friendly Mystic Retreat - Close To Town

Welcome to The Capstan! Bright & airy large home, walking distance to downtown Mystic. Designed with both families and couples in mind, this 3-bed, 2-bath home has everything you need, including lots of space for fun and family relaxation. Enjoy the luxuries of having an entire home to yourself, while being minutes away from all the restaurants, shops and historical sites in the quaint, waterfront town of Mystic.

The Capstan features a sun-drenched open-concept layout, where the living room, kitchen and dining room all join to form a bright and airy great room. Open the door to walk right out onto a large deck with a grill, table for 8 and Adirondack chairs. The fully fenced in yard has lots of space for games, including corn hole. Enjoy a movie on the 75 inch HDTV after a day of exploring all Mystic has to offer!

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need. There is a large fridge, oven with 3 racks, electric range, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker and dishwasher. Dishes, glassware, mugs, pots and pans, basic cooking amenities, serving dishes and utensils are all provided, as well.

Bedroom 1 is large and features a queen bed and an en suite bathroom. There is enough space for a pack 'n play, which is provided.

Bedroom 2 also has an inviting queen bed and enough space for 2 guests to stay comfortably.

Bedroom 3 features 2 twin beds that can easily be joined together as a king bed, with a connector and king sheets ready for use.

The above ground basement, with windows, features another TV and comfy couch that folds down into another queen-sized bed. This room serves as a 4th bedroom, with blackout shades and its own heat control. There is also a queen sized air mattress, should you need it.

A large washer & dryer and 2 full bathrooms with plenty of towels make long term stays at The Capstan a breeze.

The house is an easy, one mile walk to downtown Mystic and a 10 minute drive to the Mystic Aquarium and Old Mistick Village. There is a great playground just a 2 minute walk behind the house. Family-friendly Esker Point Beach is a 7 minute drive away. For larger, ocean beaches Misquamicut and Hammonasset Beach Parks are just half an hour away. If you're into casinos and great live shows, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods are about a 20 minute drive.
