A cosy apartment close to downtown

A cozy holiday rental apartment in a quiet neighborhood in close proximity to downtown.
The apartment is only 400 meters from a restaurant, grocery shop and a bakery.

The apartment is 100 square meter with two bedrooms, full equipped kitchen, living room, storage room with a washing machine and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment is well organized and is located on the ground floor with a private entrance right in front of the parking space. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, wireless internet and a 32' flat screen TV with a DVD player & a lot of DVD's to choose from.

Plenty of space for a family to spread out and eat in.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms each with a queen size bed but for additional travellers extra mattresses can be provided.
There is 1 couch that children can easily sleep on.

We offer a home like environment which appeals to travellers who do not like cold hotel environments.



The kitchen is equipped for cooking full meals.There is a full dining and kitchen table for meals.

We have a private parking spot in front of the entrance to the apartment.

Towels and linens are provided upon arrival.

A beautiful park is only 200 meters walking distance from the apartment. In it are great lanes for cyclists and runners. The park is also fantastic for taking a walk and watch the birds swimming in the pond.

And just a few minutes out of the city you have all the great nature that Iceland has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay @ this lovely condo in Reykjavík. Situated close to the city in a quiet neighborhood. Had all the conveniences that you would need. Very clean & spacious. Helga quickly responded to us if we had a question.

Wonderful Apartment!

This apartment is perfect. Beautiful and clean and very close to the town center and food shopping. There is a huge outdoor swimming pool with geothermal water for lap swimming just 15 minutes away, right next door to the World Class gym. Very convenient to access so many attractions. The host is wonderful. I highly recommend it!!

Helga’s place was easy to find and convenient to everything we wanted to do in Reyjkavik and beyond. It was very clean, kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. There were a few grocery stores nearby too. We were a family of 4 and we enjoyed having a comfortable living area to lounge in after a long day of sightseeing or hiking. Helga was very responsive to questions too. Also appreciated the private parking space. Finally, the place was decorated beautifully - as the owner is also a painter. We loved the Iceland inspired paintings on the walls. This is a 5 star spot. I’d return for sure.

We will be back!

My husband and I brought our boys ages 8 and 12 for their first trip to Iceland. We wanted a great “home base” with all amenities in case we wanted to eat dinner in and regroup after long days. This apartment was so wonderful! Great location, parking available and very attentive hostess. I’ve already sent this listing to many friends and we cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend!!

Great apartment, great location!

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Reykjavik with my daughter! The location is ideal—just a few minutes from downtown, but in a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood. The apartment was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Helga, the host, was fantastic with great communication throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for the perfect mix of convenience and tranquility in Reykjavik!

Great Place to Stay

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The place is beautiful and in a great location. Helga is the best! She was very communicative and helpful answering any questions we had. She added a bed to the place for us that was very nice and got us a reservation at a great restaurant we were unable to get into. One of my favorite VRBOs I have stayed with.

Iceland stay

A very nice and clean property in a quiet and nice neighborhood. Host was available by email easily. Easy and quick to get to Reykjavik, a few stores within walking distance. Approximately 40 from Keflavik airport. Within an hour or two of many natural sites. 2 thumbs up!

Great Home Base!

This apartment had everything we needed to make our trip wonderful. Convenient location, close to downtown, supermarkets, highway access and easy parking right in front of the door. We used the fully equipped kitchen every day and the washer and dryer frequently. Beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of space to spread out in the living/dining room. I would stay here again if we return to Iceland. Helga was easy to work with and quick to respond. Thanks for sharing this home with us!

Great place to stay

Apartment worked out really well for us. Was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. Washing machine was great to have. Off-street parking and relatively close to downtown and easy to drive out of town to all the great sight-seeing in Iceland. Helga was helpful with suggestions and easy to reach if needed.

Perfect base for Reykjavik +200 km radius around

As said above, we spent 6 days in Reykjavik, enjoying the city plus visiting all attractions in 200 km radius. It was a perfect place to do this plan. Apartment was very clean, communication was super easy, check-in and out was super easy. We are very pleased with overall experience. For sure a place to stay.

Iceland apartment

My family stayed at this apartment for 6 days. We were 3 adults and 2 teens. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. I would recommend staying there.

Iceland visit

Never having been to Iceland we did get a nice overview on our bus trip to Glacier Lagoon although 15 hours was a bit much. Helga was very helpful in many ways and responded quickly to any questions we had . Her apartment was better than advertised and it was very convenient to downtown Reykjavík.

Great short-visit option

We enjoyed the property and the host, who was wonderfully communicative and helpful with advice on places to eat, shop, visit, park, and play. Great location for anyone visiting with a rental car, and some bonus items: 2 bedrooms for visitors is great Laundry to clean wet or dirty clothing is very helpful Off-street parking was nice Really wonderful, tasty food and an incredibly clean country compared to many places in America. Shockingly beautiful geography, and I can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful stay in Reykjavik

We had an amazing trip to Iceland only made better by a clean and comfortable place to stay. Helga was so responsive and kind. Her place is spacious, clean, and very well equipped and just a few minute drive to downtown. We would stay here again if we came back.

Wonderful time!

We had a wonderful time staying in Reykjavik 108. The apartment was more like a house, very spacious for us (3 adults) and had everything you would want for an extended stay, even private parking! The only slight bothersome was the shower door, it leaked water on the floor, but there were plenty of towels to use each day to act as sponges. The neighborhood was perfect, only 3 minutes away to a park, groceries, restaurants, and a first-class Crossfit box. The less than10 minute drive into town was perfect. Our host Helga responded to every question we had prior to the trip, and was very friendly and conversational when we met her at her downtown shop, a perfect host with a great property in all aspects. Thank you for giving us a stress-free experience to see your beautiful country.

I mostly paint with oil and wax and usually its Icelandic landcape which I love, born in Iceland and love the nature here around. You can see my paintings on instagram helga61.

My apartment is very cosy and quiet, but not far away from the center, A little old fashion but I like it, and brings me to the old days when I was growing up. The apartment has everithing you need and the beds are very comfortable.
