Driving through the front gates you will find this Gorgeous and Stunning, completely refurbished, updated farmhouse originally built in 1860. This home and property have been painstakingly refurbished and decorated over a two year period by the Owners. Situated within a working ranch, take a step back in time, with all of today's modern amenities. Huge area to play and roam about the outside of the home. One of Jackson county's oldest, iconic barns in the distance, on the property, provides a great back drop for photo opportunities! surrounded by beautiful hills and mountains. Inside is spectacular with 5 beautiful bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The Owners purposely kept the old farmhouse feel, while updating every inch of the 4500 square feet. fully updated and functional kitchen as well as a huge game room with a full size pool table as the centerpiece, Foosball table as well! 7 large Flat screen TV's throughout the home. One of the greatest aspects of the home is the big brand new back deck! Large propane fire pit sitting area, new BBQ, new 6 person Hot Tub with lots of additional seating looking out to the old barn in the distance! Just a fantastic space outside to relax and enjoy your time at the Historic Dunn Ranch. Just inside the door from the deck is the TV room! Large 75" wall mounted TV with ample sitting areas to enjoy your favorite shows, or watch the game! We don't think you will want to leave, but if you do the City of Ashland is minutes away. Grocery and shopping is nearby....Maybe take in a show at the Shakespearean Festival, or run up to Mount Ashland, the Mountain lakes and Emigrant Lake are minutes away...So many things to do, you will want to extend your visit. The home could serve as a mini corporate retreat as well. Perfect for a Family Reunion or large group of friends.

We had a great time at Dunn Ranch! We had 4 couples and 5 young kids which was about the limit of sleeping spaces but worked well for us.The property is very private despite being next to a busy road. Plenty of well-maintained spaces in the house with a funky-but-functional old house layout and several large, seperated common spaces for spending time together. Morning walks with coffee to meet the cows are a must!We will definitely consider Dunn Ranch for future group trips in southern Oregon!

Everyone enjoyed our stay and were very impressed with the house and grounds. Everything was just as pictured. The beds & pillows were so cozy. The house provided just the right amount of togetherness, as well as areas for private time. We would love to return.

Came for Shakespeare, stayed for Dunn Farm.

Wonderful house for our 3 generation family vacation! We loved the large living room, pool/game room, hot tub deck for family gathering as well as cozy rooms and nooks for getaways. The house was immaculate, the kitchen well- appointed, the grounds private and lovely. As a bonus we were visited by a beautiful 8 point stag eating fallen apples.

Great Reunion location

We had a wonderful time at this rental. It was perfect for our family reunion of 8. Lots of space to spread out. We loved watching the cows.

Great Ashland Getaway

What a great getaway house in the Ashland area. We appreciated the location, cleanliness, beautiful property, and spaciousness of the house and the property. The tree swing was a huge hit for the kids, who also liked to take a stroll along the property and see the cows. We will be back! Thank you!

Amazing home!

It was super comfortable and fun! We were in town for our daughter's wedding and our other children and grandchildren stay with us. Lots of room, great amenities and plenty of things for the kids to do. We all loved the house and location

Amazing property

A true gem. This place is a great property for family gatherings. We really enjoyed the game room, the back porch and fire pit, the well stocked kitchen and the well finished bathrooms. I highly recommend this place.

Fabulous Dunn Ranch!

This is a beautiful property, an historic farm house totally updated, but only minutes from downtown Ashland. We highly recommend the Dunn Ranch for small (5) or large groups. It is supplied with everything you could possibly need. We will return!

It’s a wonderful house and setting. They’ve done a great job with the remodel. It’s perfect for large family gatherings with plenty of spaces to keep all entertained. The local power company will shut off power during fire season at times and the well pump also shuts off, so be prepped for that. Toilets didn’t flush during the outage but came back after. Likewise the gate wouldn’t operate but the owner gave us an alternative. I’d recommend having a simple fan to move around to move air in the pool room and downstairs bedroom. Otherwise the ac units kept things comfortable. If you have step issues the stairs to the upstairs master doesn’t have a railing. And the shower tub is a very tall step. We bought a shower mat for the tub to solve the slipping issues. Don’t get me wrong. We’re getting older and just wanted to point those out. The work done on the remodel is wonderful and they have a gem out there by the lakeGroceries are very nearby. Easy to get to town.

70 is Fabulous

This was the theme of our week! All 10 of us, childhood friends, mostly since first grade, turn 70 this year. We get together often in various configurations , but this time it was to celebrate our collective 70th and The Historic Dunn Ranch was the perfect place to gather! We loved the multiple bedrooms, the beautiful furnishings, the large deck to toast each other in the evenings, the living room with comfortable seating to chat in the morning with coffee, and the very workable kitchen and spacious dining room. All that, plus being just a few miles from Ashland, helped make our week so special. This space is so flexible and so well thought out that we could not think of anything that could be added! If the Ranch House is available for your dates do not hesitate to reserve it! If it is not available for your dates - try to change your dates!

Wonderful house, great for a big group

Thank you very much Jeff for letting us stay in your beautiful house. The house is very spacious, the kitchen is spacious and the common areas are great. the deck outside and the Jacuzzi and bbq and outdoor sitting area are clean and spacious. the sofas/chairs there are comfortable. In general all the beds are super comfortable, lines are super soft. Every room has a lot of storage and attention to details. The bathroom are stocked with lots of towels and shampoos/conditioner/soaps. the Kitchen has a lot of dishes/utensils/pots and pans. Everything is almost new or new. All the appliances work great, there is a ninja blender too that we used for smoothies. the A/C is strong and effective, we were there when it was 103 degrees. Even with this heat wave, being outside on the grass on chairs felt ok. it was mostly shaded! kitchen is stocked with spices, olive oil, lots of containers, ziplock bags and other necessities. Everything feels new and clean. I was really impressed with everything. we travelled as an extended family (3 generations) and had kids all ages. Everyone had fun. It felt spacious, everyone got his/her own space and beds. wifi was fast. Grocery stores and the down town are a driving distance (5-10 mins). if you want to walk to places, then it may not be a good choice, but if you have a car and want a huge place, clean, comfortable and welcoming, this is your go to place! instructions of check-in,out were clear and Jeff replied quickly to every text.
