If we had been made aware at the time, we would have done our best to help locate the vehicle’s owner or have it moved promptly. Regarding the front window, we are aware of the damage. A previous guest accidentally cracked it while sitting on the sill, and we are in the process of replacing it. Since the house is historic, the windows are non-standard sizes and sourcing the correct replacement has taken longer than expected, but we are working diligently to have it resolved. We truly regret that these issues affected your experience and appreciate your patience and understanding.

We always try to make that clear for guests before booking. Regarding parking, we kindly remind all guests that the driveway is shared and not designated for parking. During your stay, your truck was parked there, and we reached out through VRBO and by phone to have it moved — so I was a bit surprised by the comment about unclear communication. The front window repair was already scheduled prior to your arrival, and while it was safe and secure, we completely understand how you could have preferred a heads-up.
