I'm sorry if the photos were not apparent upon booking as seen in person. This is the first we have heard of this but will look to see if we can showcase the property to better suit expectations. We are happy we were able to get clearance for you to allow more than the allotted number of guests typically allowed in the home, and allow early entry even though it is not typically granted in peak season. Thank you for the feedback on cosmetic items that may need attention. Please allow me to provide some feedback as we weren't aware anything was an issue during your stay... There is no ceiling fan in the downstairs bedroom, however, there are portable fans throughout the home. The downstairs bed is a platform bed which does not require box springs for the mattress the owner has chosen. We're sorry if the materials used weren't satisfactory. We recently painted the bathroom upstairs which has caused some of the ceiling "popcorn" to pull from the drywall. I checked the primary bed today and found that the frame is not loose at all, however the footrail that is not part of the frame was a little loose. Unfortunately the previous guest lost the new hot tub cover and decided to break into the shed to retrieve the old hot tub cover. We are working with the owner on another cover, so appreciate the reminder. I inspected the grill before and after your stay and did not find the grill to be dirty, but did find lots of burnt food and fresh food inside and on the grill rack at departure. If 70 degrees was not comfortable, we certainly wouldn't have minded if you bumped it down a few degrees. We hope the service, cleanliness, amenities, and early check-in helped alleviate any issues you may have had. Interesting review. Thank you leaving a review, however, we would like to understand where we or the property fell short for your stay. The only known issue during your stay that we were aware of was the initial start of your stay, where we reached out via email, VRBO, text, etc., with no reply regarding the A/C not fully cooling. This meant that the property was a few degrees warmer than what we had hoped, when catching the A/C issue before your arrival. We had a tech from a local company out to diagnose the issue that same evening and a fix for that the same evening, which was denied until the following day. We replaced the faulty thermostat the next morning and got things taken care of in the quickest possible time. I am very sorry this happened to come up during your stay, but unfortunately it was out of anyone's control. This is the only issue we were aware of that could have resulted in such a low rating. We hope the cleanliness, property and property grounds, speediness in responses and being proactive before, during and after your stay was sufficient. We take reviews and feedback very seriously as we work very hard for our owners and guests and I am sorry if something fell short, but again, would like to know how things could have been better.
