Pico Mountain Resort Ski Chalet, Ski-on/Ski-Off, 4BR/2BA

Come stay at our newly renovated ski chalet at Pico Mountain Resort, park in the 2-car garage and relax, no need to go anywhere (except to ski!). Entrance to ski trails are across the street…or…if you feel compelled to move, seek adventure, and so forth… walk or ski down to the Killington shuttle (pick up in front of Pico base lodge), cross-country skiing is nearby (Mountain Meadows or Mountain Top Resort), snowshoeing is great directly out the front door, Pico Sports Center (fully equipped health club w/ pool, is within a ¼-mile)…après-ski (several choices are nearby, McGrath’s Irish pub, Irish Music on weekends, is a good choice and nearest to the house, less than 1-mi).

Our home is well-equipped and designed for family and friends to make the most of their ski/snowboarding vacation. The upstairs features a cathedral ceiling great room w/fireplace and wall mounted flat-screen TV. Downstairs is a family room with large TV. This setup provides ample space to separate adults and kids. The house has wi-fi. There is a large entry mudroom for ski gear and bundling up.

The age requirement for the primary renter is 25 years. Maximum overnight adult guest is 8. This is not a party house and more suited for families with children.

It is recommended that you have good snow tires or an all wheel/four wheel drive vehicle with good tires when visiting Pico and Killington.

This place was the perfect size for our two families. We especially loved using the fireplace after a day on the slopes. Easy walk from the house to a trail leading down to the lifts.

This place checks all the boxes for a great ski trip. The layout is great for a larger family. It's very well equipped to eat in with a big table. Access to the slopes is a 3 minute walk. All good. The fireplace is great too as was plenty of dry firewood and kindling. I recommend this house.

Pico Dream Stay

Had a great time staying at Pico Dream. House was spacious, great fireplace (with wood provided), easy access to Pico Mountain, and close to Killington. The owner, Linda, was very responsive to all of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house in Killington

It is a very nice house and we definitely will go next year again. Very convenient to Pico and Killington ski area. I would give 5 stars if there was a jacuzzi. Thank you Linda.

Nice house, great location, would go back again. I would add pancake griddle to the kitchen items, as we tried to make pancakes on a cookie sheet and it did not work.

Great House, Close to Pico!

My group really enjoyed our stay, especially the close proximity to Pico/Killington. The entry area with the boot driers and the fire place were great additions. Also, the house was more up to date and clean than the pictures give it credit for too - another win! Thanks to Linda for making everything seamless and the late check out.

Perfect ski house!

Family of 5 stayed for New Year ski weekend. The house is just absolutely perfect! Great location. Super clean. Cozy! Everything is where you would expect it to be. Owner is very thoughtful and responsive. We will be back!

Great for a ski trip with a group

Layout of this house is great for a group; easy location for Killington access. Garage and mudroom for ski equipment worked well. Two living rooms and large dining table were really accommodating. Kitchen had everything we needed, appliances were in great condition. Propery owner was extremely helpful. .

Great for groups!

The ski chalet was the perfect home base for our group ski weekend in the mountains. Everything you need under one roof - plenty of space for everyone, a stocked kitchen for big meals, and two living rooms to gather in after a day on the slopes. Location is ideal with an easy walk to the Pico lodge and a convenient bus to Killington and all of the nearby restaurants. Linda was an excellent host and great to work with. Looking forward to returning next season!

Third time!

We’ve had the pleasure of returning to this ski house three times now, and each visit reaffirms why it's become our go-to retreat. Firstly, the space is abundant, offering ample room for our group to spread out and relax after a day on the slopes. Linda is fantastic and always ensures our stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The location couldn't be better, with easy access to Pico, short drive to Killington and nearby amenities. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a memorable mountain retreat.

Perfect weekend at Pico

We had a wonderful stay at this home! Everything in the house was as described and it set up perfectly for our group of adults and children. It was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the location cannot be beat - it was a quick walk up the street to hop on a trail to the slopes. We were able to easily come back and forth to the house for lunch and at the end of the day. The boot and glove warmers were amazing - we’ve stayed at multiple ski homes and this was a great amenity! The owner was extremely responsive and the check in process was easy. We would definitely choose this home again for another trip to Pico or Killington!

Another perfect long ski weekend

We stayed at this property 2 years ago and found it very well laid out, extremely clean, functional and cozy. We are happy to report that everything was excellent for this visit as well. We had a question upon arrival at 9 pm on a Friday night and the host immediately answered the phone and resolved the issue. Everything, from the location, to the garage to keep the snow off your car and ski equipment, to rhe well equipped kitchen is just as you hope it would be. We hope to return soon.

Exactly as described

Very clean, cozy and well laid out property a short 5 minute walk or 1 minute drive to the slopes of Pico. Kitchen was well-stocked and functional. All dishes, silverware and bathrooms were immaculate. Excellent instructions from owner and immediate response to a mid-trip inquiry. We will definitely be back.

Great family spot

Linda - our second trip to your home was as successful as the first. We have more than enough room to spread out and enjoy each other. Your place is neat and welcoming. Thank you for all the little extras - from stacks of fresh towels and hair dryers, to ample dishes, pans and beer glasses in the freezer. Truly - all we needed to add was groceries, and we were ready for a great family weekend.Thanks again - you have a great spot.

Another wonderful visit…

This was our second time staying at this home at Pico Mountain and it will not be our last! House is clean, spacious for our group of 10 and the location is amazing. Walking to Pico is a bonus and Killington is a short drive away. As much as we love being on the mountain, everyone enjoys going back to the house to relax. The kids like having their own space downstairs to watch television while the adults hangout. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make a meal. Furthermore, the dining room/living room has plenty of room for everyone to spread out! If you’re up early enough, you can enjoy your breakfast while watching the sunrise! Linda is a fantastic host— she is always quick to respond to any questions and is very thorough about the check-in/out procedures. She was even gracious enough to mail a charger back to us that we left behind. There’s no other place we’d want to stay when visiting Pico/Killington!

Wonderful little home in a good spot for skiing Pico and close enough to everything else.

We stayed here with two families for 4 nights and really loved our time here. It's a cozy little house and worked out great with kids. Killer features of this home: the attached two car garage made it easy and comfortable to get around without having to scrape ice every morning. The driveway and roads were plowed every morning there was snowfall. The boot/glove warmer and mud room downstairs kept the rest of the house clean and helped dry out our gear quickly. The view from the side let us enjoy the beautiful snowfall.There are definitely updates that would improve comfort in this house, but they are very small things in an otherwise enjoyable stay. Updating lighting in the kitchen and getting better knives and cookware would be the most beneficial. There was also a slight smell of dampness in the home, but no one really complained after the first night. At the end of the stay it felt like a very clean home, it was nice and warm, and it had everything we needed to make it very enjoyable while we were here. We would happily return on our next trip.

Excellent Ski Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 268 Alpine. The house was comfortable and well stocked. We were 8 people total and there was ample sleeping room for all. Ending each day in front of a crackling wood fire was the highlight of the trip. The boot / glove warmer contraption in the entryway was also a big hit. There are two TV/ family areas, one on the first floor by the bedrooms, and a second upstairs by the fireplace, kitchen and dining area. Having the additional living room is nice if you are traveling with kids or teens who want some space and a place to play games or watch their own movies. The walk to get to the Bonanza trail is little bit of a hike uphill with your gear on, but it is very doable. I suggest bringing an old sled to throw you skis in, especially if you have smaller kids. Getting home is easy, just take Sundowner and cut through. The owner Linda was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend the property and would definitely rent here again.

A Pico Dream Indeed!

We just returned from a 3-night stay at "Pico Dreams" and couldn't have been happier. We were two families (10 people total) in town from NJ to ski/snowboard at Pico and Killington mountains. The most appreciated element of the trip was the communication with the host, Linda. We had a few questions throughout the stay which she answered right away and was so pleasant and helpful. The house itself was ideally located, extremely clean, and well-appointed. The boot/glove warmer and breezeway were really helpful in gearing up/down each day. Our first day, we walked the short hike up to the entrance (top of slope) to Bonanza (an easy green), skied down, and effortlessly got our youngest to her lesson. The rest of us spent a perfect Bluebird day checking out the rest of the mountain. The 2nd day, we drove 10-15 minutes over to Killington and explored what we could (the mountain is huge!). What we did get to experience, we absolutely loved. Each night back at the house, we enjoyed home-cooked dinners, family games, and relaxing by the fire. The house has a great layout for our two families. We loved the view from the living room windows: sun-streaked mountains in the morning and watching the snow-cats groom the slopes at night. Thank you for sharing your house with us, Linda, our trip was truly amazing!

We’ve stayed in this home multiple times, which really says it all. Linda is a fantastic host—always quick to respond and incredibly clear with communication. The house is consistently clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out so everyone can spread out comfortably without feeling on top of each other. The location is unbeatable—true ski-on/ski-off at Pico and just a short drive to Killington. We always look forward to coming back!

Amazing!

There’s in nothing bad to say about this home! Linda is an absolute pleasure to deal with. From booking to check out, Linda always immediately responds to any questions or concerns you may have. Instructions for check-in/out are clear and simple. You even have access to the garage to park— which is key on a snowy night! The house itself is clean and spacious. There is plenty of room for your group to gather after a day of skiing and riding. The extra den space downstairs is also great to give the children their own space to watch television and play games. The house has everything you need to prepare meals, build fires or (most importantly) just relax. The views are great and the location is perfect! You can easily walk to Pico, and Killington bases (Ramshead and Skyship) are only about a 10 minute drive away. You are close to everything! For years, we have rented many great homes, but this, by far, is the best! It is clear that the owners of this home want you to have a wonderful and relaxing vacation!!!

We are two sisters along with our husbands owning this vacation home since 2011, having previously owned a Pico condo. The friendly family atmosphere drew us to Pico back in the late 90's. Our children grew up skiing/snowboarding here. We still very much enjoy our Pico home and open it up to rent when we are not using it.

We love that we can walk a short distance up the road to get on the Bonanza trail, which brings us down to the main lift. In spring, summer and fall, Pico is a great mountain to hike with a connecting trail to the top of Killington.
