Kevin & Charline were very welcoming. The home and amenities exceeded our expectations!! Such a stunning view from the dock. It truly was a PERFECT experience.

The house is as pictured. The owners were quick to contact us with an issue while on our drive down. They found the AC to not be working the morning of arrival but already had the repair man there and it fixed before arrival and after the first night to allow it to cool down it worked great! They also allowed us to come in early because they were ready for us which was great! We loved the pool and the view! The fishing was fantastic the first day especially…the weather made it a bit rough for a few of the days but thats obviously not their fault. We caught multiple snook, redfish, lizard fish, toadfish, hard head catfish , longnose gar, gaftop catfish, ladyfish and mangrove snapper. We got a single flounder and bull shark. Also we hooked a puffer fish and 2 tarpon. Use shrimp if you’re fishing they worked the best, the pinfish didn’t do much for us. There were some catches with some cut up ladyfish for bait. We saw dolphins daily and manatees a few times. The furniture was comfortable. The only complaint would be the front living room TV doesn’t connect to anything but honestly there’s so much to do it wasn’t that big of a deal and the other living rooms did work. They had a starter packs for everything in the house but you will need to buy stuff to get through the week. We would definitely stay here again and tell others to as well. You can’t beat the price for the area especially. It was a great week and if we come back we will look for availability here first!

2 weeks in Sunshine

Bucket list trip for recent empty nesters- house was well appointed and had what we needed for a long stay. Bed was comfortable. Neighborhood was nice and well kept. Only downside was the construction right next door - was noisy and ackward to be out on the lanai with workers just few feet away.

Hosts were very friendly, accomodating and quick to respond! Overall this house is a GREAT value based on the location right on the open river. What we loved: morning coffee on the dock and the playful dolphins that visited. Huge screened lanai to be outside without bugs at night. Shade over the pool was great! Lanai access to bathroom for wet feet! Garage parking! Room for improvement: The house is older and showing wear, which is reflected in the price and still a great value, but...the heavy sliding doors with no handles are difficult to open/close with long nails or for kids/seniors. Ceiling fans didn't work. Master tv internet connection was too slow to stream, and roku remotes in the other bedrooms only moved left/right and not up/down so it was very limited what the kids could watch. No glass is allowed by the pool, but the kitchen was only stocked with glassware. We bought our own outdoor cups. Would have been great to have a more clear list of items to bring. We checked a bag on plane to bring tp and paper towels but found plenty available from hosts, but there was no hand soap and just an empty tub of laundry detergent. So we packed stuff we didn't need and had to purchase things I could have packed. They offer a gift card in exchange for a 5 star review which I feel is unethical and inflates the overall ratings. This was a fishing trip and the fishing rods/reels were in terrible shape. 2 of 6 were usable. No blame to hosts - but shame on you prior renters!

Vacay on the river

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house on the river with dock! Plenty of good fishing right from the dock ! We rented a boat for the week easy access to the beach and gulf plenty of places to anchor off of Sanibel island and jump on the beach. The house also has a really nice pool covered, so on those hot days it’s really nice to swim without having the sun beating down on you! Great place would stay again!

The Perfect Family retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is Simple enough to be Perfect for Everyone in my Family, ladies got Tan in the sun by the Dock, kids have fun in the sun and at the pool,I had good time fishing with the family, with a plenty of Fish Species , Lunay is nice and cozy ,go need a tour if you have Dolphins and manatees visiting every morning and sunset the Dock areas,not a long drive you have a really great Beach’s, and Sinabels Captiva island.A very Quiet neighborhood , you don’t even Notice the construction next door , clean and well equipped for our personal needs, definitely recommended for Families fun for all ..! Can wait for next Year vacations, stars rental thanks for everything ...!
