Perfect location on the mountain. We stayed for 5 days and it would have been nice to have more garbage bags and diswashing detergent. The place was as advertised and would highly recommend it to anyone looking stay as close to the mountain and lifts.

We all enjoyed this property very much. It was walking distance to Snow Summit and was very comfortable and convenient. The kids (and parents) loved the fussball table, too.

Awesome stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From check in to check out we were very happy with our stay. Bonnie in the front office was so sweet and made sure we were completely happy with everything. We stay every year, nothing beats walking out of your room and straight into the lift line! As far as the unit, no complaints, no issues with hot water or WiFi, everything worked as it should. Units are a little old so don’t expect super modern luxury, but they are very comfy. I need a good bed because of my bad back and the master bed was not too shabby. Slept good during our stay. The unit comes with pots, pans and silverware, along with glasses and coffee mugs. Had coffee machine and free coffee. Best part is dogs are allowed, our German shepherd travels everywhere with us!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in a great location, walking distance to lifts. Quite dated (kitchen and bathrooms, especially), but I was happy enough since I am from the era in which these were built, so it felt familiar :) Maintenance needs to keep a sharper eye: dripping faucet, leaking/refilling toilet tank, etc. Furnace is near bedrooms, and is very loud---recommend earplugs at night. Clean upon arrival, but not perfect; for example, lip smudges on edges of drinking ware, coffee maker basket with residual grounds/powder. Guests have to empty their own trash upon checkout or security deposit will be charged.Hot water from faucets is almost boiling, so be careful!Other than those few things it was really most enjoyable to stay here.

Close to ski lift but lacks comfort

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location cannot be close to ski area as you can get & convenient.Townhouse is terribly dated and in poor condition for what you pay.Sofa is beyond lifespan and the seating is held up by planks so that you don't sink to the ground. The mezzanine (closed off) but the cobwebs are clearly visible and pretty disgusting. Could do with new beds too since they are sunken in and not comfortable. The bedrooms are both decent sizes and there is sufficient storage. The kitchen was OK but also needs an update.There was no sponge to wash dishes or wipe countertop & we quickly ran out of paper towels.Could use more utensils - spoons and forks.There was not enough wood, no matches or lighter. Very disappointing for the price we paid. The place is cute with all the "bear" motifs but it could use a thorough deep clean and an upgrade.I could only fully recommend this to a friend if the entire unit undergoes an upgrade in furniture. Comfort after a long day on the slopes is just as important as proximity to the slopes.

Fantastic Weekend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is literally the best place we've ever stayed in Big Bear! Unit was fantastic, warm, cozy, welcoming! Literally at the foot of Snow Summit (parking lots connected) giving us opportunity to go back to unit for breaks/lunch/dinner. We won't stay anywhere else! Side note: Bonnie was so great! Got back to us with answers quickly! Super friendly on phone and in person! Great human touch!

Quick get-away

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of rental was amazing. The inside was ok. My only negative was on the customer service of the office. The staff was not super friendly. Also we accidentally left airpods in the rental. We had proof because of them showing on location. I called twice right away and was brushed off because they were slammed. I was told I would get a call regarding them and never did. I tried again almost a week later and they said they didn't find them. I told her I found that peculiar since they showed on the map. Also she was always too busy to walk 2 min to go check or too busy to send someone to check.

Very clear and well maintained property. The fact that you have a detached wall to the apartment next to you sometimes you can hear the noise from next door or smell the food if they cook :-) Nut this is minor considering the whole experience and the beauty of the place. Well done! Great family trip.

Best place to stay for Snow Summit!

We loved this property and plan to make it an annual trip. It is right next door to the Snow Summit main buildings, so walking over in the morning is less than 5 minutes. Our back patio was a view of a ski run, so we watched skiers and snowboarders come down the mountain whenever we were home. For no extra cost, they upgraded us to a townhome with a hot tub outside - exactly what you need after a day of skiing. We could not have had a better experience! It was a magical Christmas!

Weekend Away

Great location. Only comment would be there is no AC in the unit for the upstairs so on a hot weekend, it was stale air in the main living area and the kitchen. They need a ceiling fan. I should of checked the listing about the AC so that was my fault. But great for a get away.
