Wonderful place to spend a weekend

The driftwood dream was a large quiet room with an extremely comfortable bed. We enjoyed the breakfasts, the grounds but mostly the socializing with the owners. They run a great business and I would not hesitate to come back again.

A great and beautiful place to stay in Marblehead

A beautiful large home turned into a great bed and breakfast. Shelly met my wife and I at the door showed us around and answered many questions about the area. Her eating suggestions were top notch. Rooms were extremely clean and well decorated. We had a great time!!

Lovely quiet b and b

Stayed here with friends while visiting their family. The Inn is lovely and very quiet. Our room was very nice and had all the amenities you would need. The breakfast each morning was good and the staff very attentive. They even gave us suggestions on things to do in the area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with a glass of wine enjoying the view. Also used the common area at night to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Would definitely come back.

Empty nester friend outing

A group of our close friends gets together every several months to go to new places. This outing took us to the Orchard restaurant and the Victorian Inn. So much fun! Loved hanging out in the living room area and cheering on our Cleveland Guardians! Great time!

Wonderful Getaway

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Victorian Inn, easy to find and conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to visit on Lake Erie. Our room was very clean and nicely appointed, the bed very comfortable. Bath towels were plush and generously-sized. Breakfast was ample and very good. We reported a slight problem with the AC which was immediately and effectively solved. All staff were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

Rooms were small, door didn’t shut properly, Luke warm shower and lots of outside noice. Breakfast was delicious, but skimpy. Overall, would not stay again.

Wow—this is the first 3-star review we’ve received. We’re truly sorry to hear your experience didn’t meet your expectations. Your breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, and a rotating buffet of yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries—all replenished during service. At your request, we even brought you an extra plate, which you seemed to enjoy. We’re proud to say we are able to “wow” our guests. That said, we understand a historic home isn’t the perfect fit for everyone. Each of our nine rooms has a unique layout, and for those needing more space, we offer larger rooms—best reserved early as we are typically fully booked. Also, we double-checked our electronic lock system, we were able to go through our reports to confirm your door functioned and locked properly during your stay, with no issues reported to our staff. We also haven’t had previous complaints about lukewarm water—our hot water system is designed to support the entire house. As a family-owned B&B business, we genuinely care and put our heart into what we do going above and beyond to provide thoughtful hospitality. We rely on honest and accurate reviews to help us grow and thrive, as they are so important to the sustainability of small inns like ours. Wonderful Bed & Breakfast

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Victorian Inn Bed and Breakfast, and it exceeded all my expectations! The hosts were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful little touches that made it feel extra special. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care. The location was perfect, just a short drive to the lake, several restaurants within walking distance and close to the ferry service to the islands, making it super convenient to explore the area. I had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to go back in few months! If you're looking for a relaxing and charming getaway, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay

This Inn is an absolute gem! Shelly was a phenomenal hostess from greeting us when we came in, to the tour of the house, providing snacks and a place to store our beverages, making us feel totally at home, and sending us off the next morning with a delicious breakfast to start our day on the island. The rooms were incredibly comfortable - soft sheets, fluffy towels and we were tempted to steal the bathroom rugs! Sooo soft. We could not have had a better time here. Our group of 4 couples will certainly expand to another stay there in the future! Thanks, Shelly! Loved it all!
