Wow—this is the first 3-star review we’ve received. We’re truly sorry to hear your experience didn’t meet your expectations. Your breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, and a rotating buffet of yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries—all replenished during service. At your request, we even brought you an extra plate, which you seemed to enjoy. We’re proud to say we are able to “wow” our guests. That said, we understand a historic home isn’t the perfect fit for everyone. Each of our nine rooms has a unique layout, and for those needing more space, we offer larger rooms—best reserved early as we are typically fully booked. Also, we double-checked our electronic lock system, we were able to go through our reports to confirm your door functioned and locked properly during your stay, with no issues reported to our staff. We also haven’t had previous complaints about lukewarm water—our hot water system is designed to support the entire house. As a family-owned B&B business, we genuinely care and put our heart into what we do going above and beyond to provide thoughtful hospitality. We rely on honest and accurate reviews to help us grow and thrive, as they are so important to the sustainability of small inns like ours.
