The location was amazing and the house was beautiful. We loved our trip. My only suggestion is to put a sign, handrail, or reflector strip on the single step going from the kitchen to the sunroom. My stepmom very unfortunately did not notice the step and tripped and had a fall that ended up laying her in bed much of the trip. The porch lights were also burned out or not working during our stay so may need replacing. This did not impact our stay negatively but just wanted to mention so it can be checked. Other than that, the rest of the house was exactly what we hoped for for three families to gather together and visit South Haven. It was very walkable to everything, many activities provided for the kids for the beach and park, it was a wonderful stay. Many other things were provided, such as coffee, necessities, everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you.

Sobre o anfitrião

Anfitrião: Mandy

Imagem do perfil do anfitrião
My husband and I have been small business owners for over 15 years. We have 2 children, who absolutely love and enjoy our South Haven house. We are from a Northwest Suburb of Chicago, IL.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Our family has been coming to South Haven for over 10 years. Every time we come we enjoy the downtown area, beach, Kids corner, farmers market, wine tasting, golfing, and picking blueberries. It's a nice way to get away from it all without going far from home. We also love walking to the lighthouse and we love watching the sunsets. There is so much to do in this beautiful town. We were also attracted by the cute downtown area with fudge shops, candy shops, and ice cream shops. We just truly love the atmosphere and we have never met nicer people to be around.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This house is located on a private street with a large .25 acre backyard. The best part is the 5 minute walk to the beach and only being a mile from downtown. We have owned the house for over 8 years and decided to make some big changes. We recently renovated Sunset Haven specifically for family gatherings of our family and yours. With the finished basement, it is now 2800 sq ft of space, with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and sleeps 12. There are 2 eating areas, 2 family rooms, and a large open gathering space. Outdoor dining area on concrete patio with enough seating for everyone. The finished basement includes a bedroom, full bathroom, finished laundry area, Arcade and Foosball table. Located inside the garage, there is an EV Charging Station (level 2 chargepoint). With nearby activities for everyone and located on a quiet side street, it is the perfect place for making memories.
