Let your adventure begin here with beautiful views, beautiful sunsets, and lots of family fun! A very natural lagoon-like setting with osprey, eagles, egrets, salamanders, frogs, and minnows. We supply the kayaks and life jackets 🛶 ! Bring your water shoes or mud boots for the little ones to explore lake life. Outdoor fire pit and lighted pergola to mention a couple more amenities.

In house Cinema with 4 electric reclining theatre chairs. Top line appliances with plenty of dining spaces. A sunset porch to drink a glass of wine or to begin the day with wonderful views. This Private quiet community is a peaceful lakeside retreat

We are 15 minutes from Charlotte Douglas Airport and the White Water Center. Easy access off 485 and just a skip away from uptown Charlotte. We are across from Latta Nature Preserve and Rapture center which has 1300 acres of hiking trails and picnic areas. ***PLEASE NOTE- hurricane Helene caused significant damage to Mountain Island damn turbines. The lake is being operated at lower levels until repairs are complete.

We absolutely loved staying here! Felt like home! The house itself is gorgeous and well maintained. The location on the lake is also a plus. My son had a great time kayaking. Also, close to all stores and entertainment such as the NASCAR Hall of Fame and Bank of America Stadium. My family and I would definitely stay here again if in the area. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our family vacation built around a nephew’s wedding in Charlotte. We loved the fire pit, home theater, and lake view. If it wouldn’t have been winter, we’d have given the kayaks a whirl. The property is peaceful, but it’s also close to a grocery store and the interstate. The host was great—she texted to welcome us and ask if we needed anything, so I felt comfortable asking her a question about firewood. We would definitely stay there again.

Kayak Cove was lovely and met the needs of my family. We enjoyed the cinema room, the outdoor patios, and of course, the kayaks! Karen was so thoughtful to check on us and to take care of a minor issue quickly and thoroughly.

This is a wonderful home! The pictures don’t do it justice. Very well appointed and clean. The outdoor property was like an oasis. Well kept and the lake view was amazing. We really enjoyed using the kayaks. The host was amazing. Thank you!

Excellent care and attention from the host. The property is well kept and they provide many extras to make the stay more enjoyable including some snacks and kayaks of various sizes. The host was very gracious about accommodating special requests and made sure to check in with us during the stay to see if we had any questions or problems. Communication before and during the trip was great. We have family in the area we were visiting and they will recommend this property to out of town guests in the future.

Perfect peaceful lake retreat

We spent our July 4th holiday here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean, comfortable, and had nearly everything we needed. It's so quiet here and yet just a few minutes from groceries and restaurants. Everything was well-maintained, and the whole place just felt cozy and relaxing. Host was very responsive and helpful, too. Hard to believe this place is so close to Charlotte!

Traveling with friends

We traveled for the PGA Championship. The area had lots to do before the tournament. Very roomy house with extra amenities for our group. Lake was low due to power company so we couldn’t use kayaks, but looked like fun. Other than a few small items for them to address the house was great for our visit. Hiking, boating and great restaurants close by.

Kayaking Fun

We stayed for a week for vacation and the watch my son play baseball. It was a fun place with Kayaks and paddle boards! We went out in the lake alot. Lots of wildlife to watch, fishing but we didn't catch any, and board games quiet lake. It was a fun trip.

So sorry the neighbors weren’t happy with your group walking on their pier. While they are great neighbors, they are sensitive to strangers. Please know that the “Ring App” does notify owners if there is any movement detected. We offer a peaceful, 5-star experience that most people love! Thanks for leaving the house neat and clean. Great House! Great Lake! Everything you need and more!

We stayed for 10 days and had everything we needed. Homeowners were very responsive and left a welcome basket for us. Movie room was a plus! We caught many catfish from the lake - a 40lb one too! Beds are comfortable and had plenty of linens. Friendly neighbors. Kayaks provided but we didnt have a chance to use them. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice well appointed home. Circumstance out of owner's control could have been informed earlier. We are avid fishers and had planned on doing that right from the rental property.However that was not possible due to hurricane damage and the dam needing repair which resulted in very low water levels. Fishing therefore was made inconvenient. Very pleased with location and response time when needing questions answered. Would recommend.

Absolutely Amazing!

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They were more than accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. I would rent this property again and again. It is a beautiful home on a beautiful lake. The owners thought of everything towels pots. And pans coffee upstairs.Every little detail was there. The owner checked on us a few times during our stay.To make sure we had everything we needed, and that everything was okay. We would definitely rent this property again. And would definitely recommend this to other people. They also had beautiful sitting areas outside a grill that we could use a fire pit that they encouraged us to use a sitting area outside with fans. They thought of every little detail, and it made the stay so nice.
