This place was amazing! One of the best experiences that Ive had! It was clean and comfortable. Lots of snacks which the kids thought were amazing! The garage offered hours of fun. My kids favorite area though was the big room upstairs. Wonderful house for a large family or group. The hosts were super responsive and so generous! A great ending point of our trip!

So glad everything went well during your stay. Our property is located close to interstate 68, but far enough away that we are close to nature. You can enjoy our fenced in back yard as you listen to the WiFi, or just chill with a fire in the fire pit and listen for the coyotes, hoot owl, or the neighborhood donkey.

The host was readily available for all our questions and provided drinks, snacks , candy and all sorts of amenities for our stay. The house was stocked with essentials and the property provided ample entertainment for the grands from a fully loaded game room ( ping pong, foosball , basketball, Pac man, horseshoe's,game closet) to each having their own double bed in a beautifully decorated kids room . The house was seasonally decorated and warm and inviting. Best experience we have ever had at a rental property. Our multi-generational family of 11 loved it!

This was by far the best home rental we've ever stayed in. This was a true home, with every amenity we could imagine. We visited with three generations and everyone was comfortable and happy. The kids (and adults) loved the game room... and the chocolates. We even got to enjoy the yard games and the fire pit. This was a family trip of a lifetime made extra special by stay ay the Yellow Dragonfly. Thank you for everything.

Our stay for a family reunion

First, Jeff is an amazing host. So much thought put into his guests comfort and feeling of “home”. Our group absolutely loved it. So clean, cozy, and functional!! It was convenient to everything we needed to have access too and the back yard was amazing for watching wildlife! We would definitely stay here again!

So glad that you enjoyed your recent stay. The wildlife has been very active this summer. No telling when you’ll see the turkeys or deer as they make frequent trips through the yard. We have heard a hoot owl on two occasions. We are trying to update our amenities to make sure our guests have everything they need for an unforgettable stay.

We were very happy to have guests come and stay. We received about three inches of snow before their arrival and had to plow a path for them. Very happy that we could accommodate their needs and give them a comfortable stay in wild, wonderful West Virginia. Hope they come back again sometime.

Geocaching Getaway

Our group of 10 from the Haldimand Ontario Canada area came down for Geowoodstock in Morganstown WV. What a great house and location! Everything in the house was pure perfection all of us loved our stay and wish we were here longer to enjoy the house more!

Visited WV relatives for early holiday. Yellow Dragonfly is overall great for ages 6y-60y. We prepped traditional Thanksgiving dinner in full kitchen, then had large separate dining room/table to dine away from the work. Little things we liked: ramp to enter; cool game room; plentiful lighting; holiday decor; stocked, including some nice snacks; nothing broken; phone chargers; close to hiking such as Cooper's. Jeff reached out to ensure all was well.We'll be back.

Fantastic rental for WVU game

We stayed 2 nights and were very pleased with everything! From check in to check out we had all that we needed. We loved the game room!! It is about 30 min to Morgantown. We would absolutely stay again for our visits to WVU.

A true home away from home Tell us about

I want to tell everyone not to stay here so it's available when we want it again. But honestly, this place is perfect for a couple or a large family. It has everything you need and it's surrounded by amazing places. Whether you're coming to Morgantown or any of the amazing state parks, including Ohio Pyle, you're close to so many wonderful things. And our host, Jeff, was very prompt with any reach outs and very accommodating. You will not regret your stay here.

Country hide away

Absolutely the best people in the world to rent from! Made sure everything was fine, just about daily. Very spacious home, lots of activities in the house. About half way between Morgantown and deep creek md, I look forward to my next trip that way to lay low and relax!

Perfect family get away!

We really enjoyed our stay and all of the extra amenities in the home. It was really a place where you could hide and play games, read books or sit by the fire outside. We loved having access to seasonings to cook with and plenty of pots and pans. The fence in area was perfect for our toddler so we could keep him contained while the big kids ran in the field. The big kids loved the huge bedroom upstairs as well! The home was huge and spacious! Way bigger than the photos. We will be back again for another staycation! It was really perfect for ages.

Great find!

We booked this last minute due to the weather not being great for camping. It was perfect for our needs. The house was roomy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need and more. The host was very easy to get in touch with and extremely flexible with us. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the back deck or yard because of the rain but it is a great space. Game room very fun as well. Already booked again!!! Thank you so much for hosting our crew.

We decided to travel to the Morgantown area as my son was graduating at WVU with his Master’s. There was a group of my son’s friends besides us that wanted to go also, and we wanted to stay together. I found the Yellow Dragonfly, which is about a half hour from Morgantown, so we decided to book here. The host, Jeff, was so accommodating and made check in a breeze. The house is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and sleeps 12. There are three beautiful bedrooms, and a huge loft with about six lovely beds. The house was equipped with anything you could possibly need, and the host supplied coffee, some soda, and some snacks. The property was huge and flat, well landscaped, and there was a grill and fire pit you could use. It was easy to travel to Morgantown and we found some great places to eat not far from Albright. It is the nicest property and host that I have ever stayed at. If you are going to a football game or any other activities at WVU, don’t hesitate to stay here-you will love it! Thank you Jeff, we had an amazing stay!

I grew up in this neighborhood, I have lived in 3 houses my whole life and can see all 3 of them from my driveway. It is a peaceful neighborhood with good neighbors. We are situated right off of Route 26 and can be to nice dining establishments in 30 minutes, or can have food delivered to you from right down the road. We have a Dollar Store within 2 minutes of the house so you can pick up any of the items you need for your stay that you may have forgotten.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We are in the country, but are just minutes away from Morgantown, WV. West Virginia University is about a half hour away and the Mountaineers play outstanding football, basketball and baseball. The West Virginia Black Bears also play in Morgantown. Our property is just a short drive to those activities. Close enough to drive, but far from the hustle and bustle. You can attend a game at Mountaineer Field, but retire that evening and hear the katydids sing.
