OceanSound - 500 Feet to the Ocean in Duck, NC!
Perfect Carolina Dunes home located in Duck to accommodate your family and friends! Wrap around deck and windows to enjoy the ocean from all angles! Close proximity to the downtown shops & restaurants of Duck, Sanderling Resort, Corolla, Carova, yet also easy to head south to Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills to make the most of your time in the OBX! The community is made up of 230 homes (mixture of owners and visitors), one mile North of Duck with access to both the Sound and Ocean!
The space
Walk up one flight of stairs to the second story level where four of the five bedrooms are located. Go up one more level to the open dining, living, well outfitted kitchen, and master suite at top level of the home. Two levels of decks facing the ocean for your maximum enjoyment of outdoors and the salty ocean breeze. The lower level deck does have coverage to provide a nice shady area to retreat to. The top deck is a great spot to soak up the rays!
Four bedrooms have full ensuite bathrooms. The twin bedroom has access to a full hall bath. At top level off the dining room and close proximity to the porches is a half bath. At ground level outside under the home are additional shaded areas to retreat with swing, hammock, charcoal grill, etc.
Guest access
The entire space is available for guest use except for closets locked and labeled for owner and cleaner access only.
Variety of used beach chairs, 2 kayaks, 2 stand-up paddles boards, 4 adult life preservers, 2 crab pots for sound use, a basketball and basketball goal, ladder ball. Big wheel beach wonder wheeler and beach wagon, Bluetooth stereo, porta-crib with sheets and baby blanket.

In addition to my education, my love for business & entrepreneurial spirit led me to Hosting! “Duck’s relative solitude and its vast array of neatly constructed rental homes make it ideal for families. That is, unless your family likes to go bar hopping until the wee hours, in which case you may be out of luck. ... Still, while we admit Duck would never make the list for top spring break party spots, boredom is hardly a threat here.” Duck, NC, Things to Do Duck things to do have a lot of tie to the ocean and sound that sandwich the town. Watersports are big, especially on the Currituck Sound. Outfitters can get you out on the water on standup paddleboards, kayaks and sailboats, and there's just as much focus on getting into or onto the ocean on surf or body boards and probably anything else that floats. Duck things to do stay dry too, though: Trails and quiet side streets make biking, running and walking a preferred activity here (and the town sponsors several 5Ks every year). Duck is also a center for yoga and fishing. For some, the most enjoyable Duck activity might be visiting a spa and getting pampered. Several of the most highly regarded Outer Banks spas call Duck, NC, home. (Here’s a local’s hint: Book Early.) Many of the things to do in Duck, NC, can be found in its soundfront Duck Town Park, complete with a playground, kayak launch, soundside boardwalk and amphitheater. This is the heart of the village, and the Town of Duck fills the park with activities in the summer. Then there are the art galleries, jewelry stores, gift shops, specialty food shops, farm stands, bookstores, spas with great products, surf shops, pet-oriented stores and so much more.
