"Latitude Adjustment" is a serene vacation home located in the North Snow Geese Area of Duck. Semi-oceanfront and located right across from the beach access walkway, the water is just seconds away! Recently renovated and redecorated, this home is a treasure for any family looking for a quality vacation home at a great location! Perfect location to bring the bikes for rides along the miles of multi-use paths along the northern coastal Outer Banks. Run, jog, stroll the baby, or just take a ride into Duck Village for shopping, coffee, restaurants or water sports. Or just relax at home in the hot tub.

TOP LEVEL: great room with flat screen TV, deck access with partial ocean view, remodeled kitchen, dining table (10); (1) king bedroom with master bath, flat screen TV, full bath with hall access, office space.

MID LEVEL: family room with sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, deck access; (2) queen bedrooms; (1) bedroom with full bed and deck access; (1) bedroom with 2 twin bunk sets; full bath with hall access.

Perfect location. Close enough to stuff, far enough away to be very quiet. And might as well have been ocean front for as close to the beach as it is.

This is a very nice beach house that is well furnished and in a great location. We selected it because it is pet friendly. We typically like ocean front, but this first row house is conveniently located by the beach entrance. The top floor and deck have views of the ocean, sunrise, and sunset. We always enjoyed the ocean breeze and sounds of the waves. The owner provided many thoughtful things like baby gates for the stairs, magnified make up mirrors in the bathrooms, dog dishes, and plastic containers to store left overs. They provided a good number of beach chairs and a cart to transport everything to the beach. There were games, books and puzzles to keep us occupied when we couldn't go to the beach. The master bedroom and bath were recently renovated and very nice. The bed in the master is new and very comfortable. There are wide sidewalks along the main road and we were easily able to walk to the shops and restaurants on the Duck board walk-about a 2 mile walk. Having 2 tv watching areas on different floors is very nice. The owners were very responsive. I would definitely stay there again.

We frequent the Outer Banks and this was one of our favorite OBX rentals ever ! . We loved the beautiful and well intentioned decor and art in allthe rooms (Very tasteful!!!) the super comfy beds in each room , the clean and well placed hot tub and the VERY nice deck furniture ! ( and of course the proximity to the beach is everything .) It was all super clean and the updates were beautiful and so tasteful . Lastly it was wonderful to be able to bring our dog on our vacation this year , she made lots of friends everyday on the beach . How lucky you are to have such a beautiful home - and in the best area of OBX.

This is the second time for us renting this property. This time we did it with a group of friends and family. The property manager is excellent, immediately responsive to any questions asked. The property is kept in very good condition. I would highly recommend this property to families since the house is on a cul-de-sac and there is no public beach access (leading to little to no traffic on the street). We would absolutely rent this house again.

Great vacation home. We had a wonderful stay. It is right next to the boardwalk so it has easy access to the beach and it was very close to local restaurants, markets, delis, etc. The beach was not crowded and everyone was friendly. We appreciated that the house was dog friendly and even had a dog bed and bowls. The house had a great set of beach toys and equipment that we didn't even realize would be at the house. There were 10 beach chairs, a paddle board, and tons of beach toys for the kids. Finally, the hosts were very responsive, they checked on us through it the stay and responded quickly when we had a question or issue.

Beach Get Away

We must have looked at over 100 properties before deciding on this one. Great property across from the beach with easy beach access via a boardwalk right outside the property. Very nice neighborhood with the property on a quiet dead end street. Easy convenient access to shops and restaurants. The home is decorated very nicely and you can tell that a lot of thought was put into it. Comfortable with class. No issues while staying and excellent communication. We are already planning a return trip!

Obx weekend

The house was wonderful and great location! Duck is a cute small town and we loved the little shops! The house had a nice open living space and you can hear the waves and see the ocean on the top deck. We loved the easy access to the beach….literally across a quiet road! Perfect!

Easy Beach Access and Comfortable Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home that was just across from the beach access. From the two decks, one with hot tub, to the selection of games, beach chairs, well equipped kitchen and small office for checking in with work it was all great. We enjoyed the restaurants and shops in Duck and other excursions in the area.

Great house

My family of three and friends with a family of 4 stayed for a week in this home. Overall the house is very nice that had some minor maintenance issues which were responded to very quickly. The location and neighborhood are ideal to families as there is a dead end and not to many houses on the street so very little car traffic. Easy access to Duck village via the pedestrian/bike path. Excellent communication with hosts. Fantastic job on the renovation as you will find the house updated, clean and fresh.

Great Stay at Latitude Adjustment!

This was our second summer staying at the house and we had a great time! The house has everything we needed for my family and two dogs. The host is extremely responsive and accommodating. We will be returning next summer for another enjoyable week in Duck. Thank you!

Good, but not cleaned well.

Plenty of room and great proximity to beach. Beach didn't get crowded here which was nice. Appreciated the chairs and umbrella. Needs some maintenance though. House was not cleaned well before check-in. Mold in master toilet and shower; sandy, dirty kitchen floor and carpet, and dining table not cleaned. Placemats and some dishes were put away dirty. The only negative I have about the location is the traffic going south, 40 minutes to go 3 miles.

Ideal location

The house layout is great! The two porches with ocean views, the easy access to beach, and the quiet street were awesome. The available bikes, beach umbrella & chairs came in handy when our tent from home broke and we needed an extra beach chair.

Last week of June in Duck

We enjoyed our stay immensely in this beautiful home. The porches are great for relaxing with nice views and the hot tub was a big hit. Very short walk to the beach. The owners are very prompt with any questions you might have. Easy bike ride to town. Some neighbors even set up a pickleball court at the end of the street. The house is spacious and the accommodations were enjoyed by all.

Steps to the beach!

This house was perfect for our family of 8. Our children and their significant others are in their 20's. It has multiple bikes and beach chairs. The kitchen is fully stocked, very nice decor, and plenty of deck seating. The hot tub was a hit. Updated bathrooms were beautifully done. Large kitchen table was great for a game of dominoes! And literally steps to the beach.

Wonderful location and home

Beautiful property directly across from the beach! Hosts had lots of games in case of bad weather and lots of beach chairs to use on the beach. We would definitely book again!

GREAT STAY!!!

We had a wonderful visit at "Latitude Adjustment". We didn't want to leave! Nice quiet neighborhood. Quick access to the beach! The house was well furnished with plenty of room to move around. The deck had amazing views with nice deck furniture. The Master Bedroom & Bath was very comfortable, plenty of room for storage, and updated. Great office space if you had to catch up on any work while out on vacation! Kitchen was spacious, well equipped & updated. Plenty of seating in the dining room. We had an incident with the Washing machine, but their response was quick, fix was quick, and the communication during and after was fantastic! We would 100% stay there again! It does not disappoint!

OBX Thanksgiving

The house was perfect for us, just the right size of bedrooms and bathrooms and in a great location. We had a relaxing and comfortable time at the house and enjoyed the hot tub. We had a special family Thanksgiving and enjoyed every minute of our time there.

Great location

This home has a great location! Short walk to the beach and you can see the waves! Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Dianne is a great communicator and responds to questions quickly. Deck is wonderful with very comfy chairs.

Perfect Location & Great House

Without being on the physical beach, you could not ask for a better property. You step out front door and your beach access is right there. House is beautifully decorated and location to town is great. Duck stood out as best OBX town. We did the Corolla Wild Horse tour, rock on fishing charters for kids, aquarium, and Catamaran sail via Norbanks Watersports. Plenty of beach chairs, boogie birds and beach accessories available. We also discovered the house could withstand Tropical storm Ophelia. Only recommendations would be to update some appliances in kitchen, and do a better job cleaning. Paddle fans in rooms and all counter tops could've used a better dusting/cleaning. Overall would definitely recommend this house and town to any travelers!

September Beach Trip

We had a wonderful time staying in Duck! Hurricane Lee kept us off the beach one day but the sun was shining and the wind on the top deck kept us comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck watching the ocean and the higher water surge enabled us to see the breaking waves from the deck. The furniture was comfortable and there weren’t too many steps. Our property manager was wonderful with a little hiccup with the sheets and towels our first night but everything was delivered the next day. We brought K cups for coffee but also brought regular coffee. We couldn’t get the Keriug to work so we were glad to have the regular coffee maker. The distance to the ocean was great- even for a 68 year old getting ready to have hip surgery. Thank you again for a wonderful week!
