The Lodge at Hawthorn Haven

Located at Hawthorn Haven, The Lodge is a comfortable ranch style home nestled in the woods in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. While out hiking through the woods, stop at the nearby barn and visit the chickens and donkey. If nuptials are in your future you might consider the small country chapel hidden in the nearby woods.
The space
With three floors of living space, The Lodge comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests / large groups without losing its cozy charm. The master bedroom with the king bed and adjoining bathroom are on the main floor along with the roomy kitchen, dining room, and living room. The kitchen is well stocked with enough plates and utensils for large families and gatherings. We are recently just added a Keurig Duo with a drip coffee pot. With this we provide you with a complimentary drip coffee starter pack. The newly converted garage has been turned into a game room, which includes a TV with a DVD player that can connect to Netflix through WIFI, a full size pool table, foose ball table, chalk board wall, giant connect four, checkers lots of board games and much more!
The top floor offers serene views from both of the two bedrooms each with a Queen bed and a shared bathroom. The lower basement level includes two bedrooms, and a full bathroom- first bedroom has one queen bed, and the other room has 3 bunk beds (4 twins and 2 doubles), there is also a large living room with Cable TV to enjoy the big game.
This is your opportunity to get in touch with mother-nature and disconnect from the world. For those of you that have to be electronically entertained The Lodge has WIFI and cable TV on two televisions. Turn off the AC and open all of the doors and windows and enjoy the fresh mountain breeze. All new bedding has been instated.

The Lodge is walking distance from The Bethel House, The Chapel and The Bird House making this the perfect place for extra-large groups, weddings, and retreats.

We just made new changes to the "Garage" space and converted it into a Gaming Heaven! It includes a TV with a DVD player that can connect to Netflix through WIFI, a full size pool table, foose ball table, chalk board wall, checkers, board games for all to enjoy and much much more!

Also, New Mitsubishi Heating and Air Conditioning have been added! Enjoy the relaxing comfort at your own temperature throughout the cabin.
New Kitchen Remodel Completed December 2021!

*** This construction is currently on hold. I will update accordingly if any construction is being done. (During the next few months, we will be slowly adding another cabin to Hawthorn Haven, in all hopes this shouldn’t affect your stay. But with regard to your stay, we wanted you to be aware. There will be occasional construction noise, M-F 8am-6pm, and possibly a Saturday if we keep getting rain. Please let me know if they are impacting your stay and I will have them stop for the day.
