Absolutely amazing view and home!

This home was simply perfect! We had a group of 9 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. We spent many an hour on the beautiful deck taking in the views. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and the grill on the deck was great as well. Having a second fridge down stairs and a full freezer in the pantry was awesome. We were here first week of July and enjoyed the cool evenings. It was actually never hot in the house or outside. The beds were all comfortable, plenty of linens and towels. We could gather both inside and out and were able to park three trucks and a car we ease. Loved that it was a paved road all the way to the house. We have been spending this same week in the Maggie Valley area for about 8 years and this has to be one of the best homes we have ever stayed in.The owners were very responsive with any questions we had and and simply great to deal with. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it

Great Views and close to Tube World and slopes

We had a party of 12 and the house was as advertised. Very enjoyable stay. Recommend all wheel drive to climb the mountain.

Great for families

This house was great for our family. It is very spacious and had a beautiful view from the back porch. If it’s available we would love to stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Escape to the Mountain Top

We had such a great stay at this location. The house was a great size, very clean with great amenities, etc. The view was breathtaking. We had a great time relaxing on the large porch and grilling out. It's a pretty long and steep climb up to get to the house so prepare for that...but the views are definitely worth it! We would definitely visit again.

Great and peaceful vacation

Beautiful view from the deck. Got to see an amazing sunrise. We were a group of 11 and had amble room to spread out if needed. One compla was the cookware. I normally take my own skillet but forgot to pack them. Maybe look into new ones, no other complaints. Had a great stay

Golf weekend.

Had a great in Maggie Valley for a bachelor weekend. The house and view exceeded our expectations. Had a great time golfing, grilling, and gambling. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Stay!!

My friends and I had a great stay at this property. It was exactly if not better than the pictures showed. The view from the back porch was breathtaking. Also, communication with the owners was excellent and they responded quickly. I would say bringing a vehicle with four-wheel drive would be recommended especially if there is snow because the drive up to the property is steep and windey.

If you want to stay above the clouds this is the house for you! Home owners were great to deal with excellent communication. Views were great and home was spacious. Would recommend.

70th birthday celebration

Turkeys and a bear spotted by relatives on the way to the house - fabulous long view from the deck and living room - house is comfortable, well stocked with kitchen essentials and bathroom towels - quiet - good fireplace - beautiful woods surrounding the house - bedrooms on three levels so guests can spread out - lovely place to rest and relax.

Needs Updating & Dirty

Our family was very underwhelmed by the stay. House was dirty, our 9 month old had hair and dirt on his hands from crawling inside the house. Sure we were a 24 hour notice stay, but the house should be clean, no exceptions. We checked out after 1 night because the house was not what it shows.

Family gathering

We gathered for a few days with our kids and grandkids. The house was spacious and the deck provided lovely views - we spent most of our time out there. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dinnerware, glassware and cookware. I was concerned about no air conditioning because the forecast temps were quite warm, but with cross breezes and ceiling fans, we were comfortable. The owner responded quickly to all communications and was easy to work with. The day we arrived the road up the mountain was being resurfaced, and there was loose gravel which got caught in the brakes of a couple of our cars, but that was probably a "one off." Be aware that you'll have to take all your trash down the mountain when you leave, so allow extra space in your car for that! Overall, we had a great time, and had nightly sitings of a flying squirrel, daily hummingbird entertainment and saw a black bear one morning!

Family Vacay

We absolutely had the best time. The view from the deck was the best view around. You could watch the sunrise, the clouds move across the mountains, and the lights from town at night. The property was spacious and gave everyone plenty of space. We loved the kitchen and table for games and dining. The location was perfect for everything we did . Lots of waterfalls and sight seeing close by. We did have to take the garbage to the collection site was several miles away. I did not pay attention to the times and had to find an alternative location to deposit my trash, as all of the collection sites were closed on Sunday. I would definitely recommend looking that up a prior to driving around with trash in your car . 😉

Wow

Incredible views! Great house with lots of room for our large extended family. Everything we needed! If I had to complain, there is no AC, but we were there the hottest time of year, which wouldn't be an issue at other times of year because it is much cooler at that elevation.

Mountain rental

On the top of the mountain is where this house is located and the views are terrific. The drive up is a long winding road, which takes a good 20 min in and out of town. We saw deer, and turkeys mere feet away. Nicely decorated and clean, washer and dryer in home, along with plenty of games and entertainment. Gas grill on deck worked but it needs an upgrade. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent and as Described

It was everything we had hoped for. The weather was cool as we had anticipated but we did have and a little bit of rain. The view of the mountains was magnificent.
