Our peaceful retreat boasts the finest in indoor/outdoor living with fire on ice firepit, BBQ grill, and teak dining table under ambient lights in front and private HOT TUB in back. EVERYTHING you need from comfy beds and calming decor to TV and free parking! Full vintage style kitchen and dining room are perfect for eating in. You will love this ideal getaway by the sea!

Live plants and soothing boho decor infuse this fully remodeled vintage beach bungalow with calm vibes for your ultimate California vacation. You will be soaking up all the beautiful weather in our beautifully designed outdoor spaces with inviting conversational firepit, BBQ, teak dining table under string lights in the front like the locals do and our steamy private hot tub in the back patio-a rare find in this community. Comfortable beds and textiles add to the serenity after a fun day at the long sandy beach and paved beach trails for walking, roller skating or renting bikes with snack shacks, exercise areas and volleyball along the way. The quiet bay and lively 2nd Street are also less than a block away from your front door. If you like venturing out, then all the day trips SoCal has to offer are just a drive away via nearby 405 and 605 freeway onramps to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood, DTLA, other World class beaches like Huntington, Newport, Laguna and La Jolla. Be warned: this place is so sweet with fully equipped, vintage style kitchen and dining room you may just be inspired to keep it simple and stay in. Either way, this space will leave you feeling refreshed and energized.

One block behind the property you will find a peninsula and beach where swimming is abundant and kayaks and SUP's can be rented to leisurely paddle through beautiful Naples Canals. For fun you can also rent Electric boats or a Gondola tour for a more romantic experience.

NOTE that the house has 3 beds. A queen and a bunk bed that has two full beds. This should be taken into consideration when booking.

This home was perfect for me and my friends as we celebrated birthdays and the new year!!! It had everything we needed and was the best location. It felt like home. We would stay here again and again!

I will definitely stay here again and refer my friends and family. The house comes with everything you need including a black stone out front which made cooking for the family so easy! Itā€™s walking distance to the beach and also shopping, restaurants and coffee shops.

What a great beach cottage; the walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, and overall location of this stay makes it a top pick when we return to the area. The bonus is the availability of the garage parking space, this alone saved us the need to negotiate street parking.

The kitchen was definitely filled with all you must haves! The whole house was more than comfortable for our family of four for our Disneyland stay! The home was close to shops, great eats, and even the North Cannels with christmas lights everywhere! They even came to save us on Christmas Eve, and we are ever so greateful for their speedy service of getting back to us so late in the night! we highly recommend this lovely home and will stay here again in the future! Thank you again so much for your incredible hospitality M & R!

Location was very close to the beach! Home was cozy for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. Lamps/ceiling fans could have used a dusting, and the bathroom sink was broken when we arrived, but Rose responded quickly and had it fixed. We had a great visit!

Rose made a last minute girls trip happen. The bungalow is so cute and is in a fantastic location. Honestly, besides going to the beach in the rain one day and going for great food near by, we hung out and spent most of our trip at the house. The weather was wet all weekend but the first night we got to use the fire pit on the smartly designed front patio. On the last night we spent some time in the hot tub. Rose and her husband helped out a couple times and truly made it so easy for us to enjoy our stay. I would totally use this property again in the future.

The perfect getaway

We had a lovely time staying at the vintage boho beach cottage during Thanksgiving. The weather was perfect and made sure to use the jacuzzi and fire pit on the cool evenings. The cottage was equipped with everything needed for cooking a thanksgiving dinner too! Rose was helpful in suggesting restaurants and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for

Great bonding space!

Had a wonderful stay at the property with my family. Super close to the beach and 2nd Street with lots of happening restaurants. Very walkable. We loved the fire in the front and had many nights enjoying it. Perfect set up for your home away from home! Rose was an excellent communicator and we will be back to stay again!

Amazing getaway near the beach

The house was just what I expected, but more. I stayed at the house for four nights with my son and nephew. We were able to bike, kayak, go to the beach, grill outside, and just have an amazing time! This literally is the perfect home for a California vacation because it allows you to truly enjoy the natural elements and positive vibes of Southern California. The home is so cozy and allowed us to relax after our busy days outside. Thank you Rose for an amazing stay. We had a ball!!!

Great little bungalow for families

We had a great stay at this updated 1920s bungalow. Perfect for a small family looking to walk to the Belmont shore neighborhood beaches. Well stocked with everything we needed. New appliances, great bath and beach towels. Toys for the kids and chairs for the beach. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area!

Long Beach Half Marathon

The property was exactly what we needed. It was quiet and in a great neighborhood. We were able to walk to food and having a garage to park in made it easy and stress-free to come and go. The house had everything that we needed throughout the weekend. From coffee to laundry, it was covered. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Place for our Family Trip

Overall, our stay at the cottage was just what we needed. The location was perfect. The house itself had a lot of character, which I thought was a plus. There were just a couple minor things that I would have had differently, but I would definitely stay at the Boho Cottage again! I will say that Rose was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. Even when we had to change around our stay-dates, it was no problem. That was very appreciated. Thank you for our stay!

Beautiful home and comfortable stay

This was my first time in Cali and what an experience. But this home made our stay! Beautiful home, beautiful area, very comfortable. Rose is an awesome host. Very attentive to our needs and always available for us. The hot tub is just amazing. I highly recommend staying here. Hidden Gem in Belmont Shore!

What an absolute gem this is in Belmont Shore! I traveled with my wife, 1 year old son and father in law. The location is second to none. The house was fully stocked as described and we loved the outdoor fireplace and spent every night taking in the perfect weather. Rose was a fantastic host and was prompt to respond to a few questions I had prior to our arrival. We will definitely be looking to stay at her place again!

Highly recommend this beach cottage. It was close to the beach where you could watch windsurfers, beach comb and watch sunrise and sunsets. And just steps in the other direction to 2nd street has great local shops and restaurants. The house is the perfect size for a small family of 4 or a couple. The only downside is it has one bathroom. Otherwise, it is great with many amenities on the propertyā€”hot tub, fire pits, grill, and outdoor seating. One tip, if you are bringing a rental carā€”make sure it is a small car or compact/mini SUVā€”it was nice to have a garage to park in at night but if we had rented the SUV we wouldnā€™t have fit in the ally or garageā€”and there is rarely any parking space available on street. We had a great time!
