We enjoyed the setting of this cottage. The front porch and hot tub were great for relaxing, and the fireplace and living room area created a cozy spot to unwind. The views around the property were also beautiful and definitely a highlight of the stay.A few things could be improved for longer visits. There was zero storage. No closets, dressers, or extra cabinets for food, so after three days our belongings were scattered everywhere. The bedroom is also very small, and the checkout time was an early 10 am. There were no extra blankets and the place overall felt stocked with the bare minimum.This cottage is fine for a quick one-night stay, but for multi-day trips it could use a few upgrades to make the experience more comfortable.

The stay at the cottage was excellent. The home and its contents were relatively new and were kept in excellent condition. The cottage had a very clean, modern vibe while maintaining a cozy feel.The gas fireplace was wonderful for the cold temperatures.The hottub was well-maintained. Beachtowels would be useful for the hottub. A mixer would be useful in the kitchen.

The host was very accommodating and responded quickly with questions and requests. The cottage was very clean and exactly as pictured/described. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Your cabin was beautiful inside and out. We just froze inside the cabin. The heat was fixed on 68 degree and the gas fireplace didn’t work so we had to buy electric blanket to stay warm. There was also a constant clicking CONSTANT - day and night that made it very difficult to sleep at night.

Great kitchen, hot tub, bathroom on beautiful wooded property. We appreciated the lights being left on and clear instructions on how to enter and lock up. We disliked the waist high large window with no way to cover it in the shower, the severely deteriorated driveway, and zero blankets. There was a light out in the bathroom, a constant noise coming from the locked room, and not enough towels given we were asked to shower before and after as well as needing towels to dry off enough to get back to the shower. Thank you!

Peaceful Cottage

Uckor’s cottage was exactly what we needed; a relaxing get away! The cottage was very clean, nicely decorated and cozy. We loved the over sized front porch that provided protection from the rain allowing to be outside (it rained our entire stay but OH needed the rain). Just a few glitches; please have the water softner or whatever was running in the utility closet cycle during the day; not from 12:00-1:30 am, consider a hand rail for the front steps and a new mattress (big dip). Still 5 stars!!

Our stay was very relaxing.

Cottage was very nice and secluded. Driveway’s were a little rough so a SUV or Truck would be better suited to access this cottage. Utility closet was alittle noisy from the water system.

This place is exactly as cute and relaxing as it looks. We loved enjoying the fire and chilling in the hot tub and being in the woods. Very nice that neither the tub nor fire pit was near grass...we had very little mosquitoes. Our pup loved it as well...we put blankets from home on the furniture to avoid any dog hair, just an FYI for anyone traveling with pets. Loved it!

The cabin was clean and very cute! The perfect amount of space for the 2 of us and our dog. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. I wish we had stayed one more day. At first we were disappointed that there wasn't a closet. But honestly we found that it wasn't needed. We were there to hike and be comfortable hanging out. So hanging clothes ended up not being a big deal. I would mention that you do need to wait some time between showers for the water pressure to return to normal.

Cottage was beautiful. Very clean. Exactly as in the pictures. Perfect for a couple that wants to get away. We had a wonderful time. Only regret is not booking an extra night or two. Definitely recommend.

It was great!!

We loved how peaceful it was being in the woods with no one around!! It was beautiful inside, just a few problems we had with the stay: the grill didn’t work and the hot tub made our swim suits smell horrible (not sure if it needs extra cleaned or just something with the chemicals) and the silverware could of been cleaned a little bit better in between people’s stay.

Updated cabin. Wasn’t impressed with the cleaning. If I were the owner I would have a word with the cleaner. Could tell hot tub had sanitizer put in because of the crystals found on the edge. The tub itself could have used a scrub, on the walls there were brown rings at water line and a couple of seats had brown lower in the tub. The coffee mugs still had coffee stains in the bottom like they were not washed and just placed on the shelf. Water pressure is not very good. Has a double shower head but not enough pressure to enjoy. On our last night someone staying at the cabin down the hill drove an ATV on a trail about 20 feet behind our cabin back to their cabin. When I looked there is clearly a frequently traveled trail behind Uckor’s cottage. The cabin felt pretty secluded, but I think it’s deceptive. So be aware of that with all of the windows. I would stay there again, but personally I think the rental fee should be a little lower than what they charge.

It was relaxing for the most part

I like the modern feel of the cabin. The area was really nice but the driveway had some really bad dips and washed out ,The place itself was nice but the maintence person needs to redo the towel hooks and toilet paper roll fall off. The glass wall on the shower is really loose and scary and it was not a spa like experience because there was seriously no water pressure! we had buy a lower-pressure shower head just so we could take a shower. So that was disappointing, along with half the jets not working in the hot tub but at least the other half worked. I would only stay there again if they fixed the shower and driveway.

Great weekend away

Wonderful property just as advertised. The host communication was excellent and everything was just as you’d hope. The covered porch was perfect and great since we had some rain during our visit. We were still able to enjoy being outside. Great hot tub. If you’re looking for a quiet, dog friendly place in the Hocking Hills, this is it.
