Great Stay in the Black Hills

Newer property, clean and spacious, really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again if back in the area. Love the location too, just a short drive to many different towns/attractions. Owners were easy to reach and quick to respond.

We were very pleased with our stay at Black Hills Lodging in Rockerville Gold Town. The unit was modern, clean and fully equipped with all the household items we needed. The location is great! Near many attractions and a short drive back to Rapid City. We would absolutely recommend!!

Clean and Comfortable

We planned a last minute trip to the Black Hills and we’re so fortunate to have found such an amazing place to stay! It was incredibly clean, comfortable, and a great location for getting to all the Hills has to offer. I appreciated the non pet policy as a family with allergies and will definitely book again!

Family stay in Black Hills

This property was the perfect place to stay for our family of 5! With it being located just south of Rapid City, we were able to explore a lot of the Black Hills along with the Badlands within a short drive. After a long day of exploring, it was nice to be able to just walk across to The Gaslight restaurant for a bite to eat. The condo is beautiful and comfortable to relax in as well. Plenty of space for everyone to dispurse and recharge. Would highly recommend as a place to stay!!

Condo was new and very clean! The kitchen was well stocked except for a blender. The distance to the attractions was 1 hour or less drive:). We only wish the sofas were reclining and you had blackout blinds on the windows.

Amazing stay, perfect location, awesome amenities

For the Christmas break, I brought my college daughter and 2 friends to see the beautiful Black Hills. We rented 2 rooms at RGTL and they did not disappoint. Everything is brand new and beautifully appointed. We cooked some meals and the girls watched movies in their room at night and had a great time. I liked the electric kettles and coffee supplies provided for a quick tea or coffee to start every day the right way. The location is so close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park and the trip to Badlands National Park was also an easy drive. The Gaslight Restaurant was across the street, perfect for lunch or a drink with friends and a one minute walk back to your room. The check in and check out process is so easy and Jeff & Sandi were amazing hosts. Compared to a hotel or other places I've stayed in the Black Hills, RGTL is a clear winner given the rooms are about 1100-1400 square feet and everything you want in a vacation rental. Visiting during the off season was also great since there were no crowds at any attractions and our weather was near 50 degrees for most of our December stay. Can't wait to stay there again this summer when I return.

Crazy Horse Volksmarch

This appears to be a new property. It is very clean. Jeff is very responsive to make your stay enjoyable. This location is very quiet. This is a very good central location to visit all the well known sights. We made a trip to Devils Tower and it was great. Spouse did the 10k at Crazy Horse (the main reason for us to come) and words cannot describe how interesting that event was. We visited Custer State Park and the wild burros were fed carrots. That as an experience in itself. Do not miss the Needles Highway. Mt Rushmore, which we had seen before, was breathtaking again! Don't see how one could ever be bored staying at this location. There is so much to see and do within a an hour's drive or a day's drive. You seem to be in a quiet more rustic area, yet Wal-Mart is only about 15 minutes away, if you have forgotten something or wish to plan a picnic/pack a cooler for the next day.
