My family enjoyed their stay. The host was very accommodating and replied with all my questions very fast. The rental was very nice.

My family and I, including our dog Harley, had a great stay. Terry was an amazing host. We had a weather related issue and she was super responsive and extremely helpful. This was our second stay at this property. It fits our needs and was perfect for a few days of skiing and playing in the snow. The house is very pet friendly, has all the room we need and is in a perfect location for everything Deep Creek has to offer. Our first stay was during the summer and the dock was our reason for renting. We will definitely rent again.

Great cabin by the lake

It was perfect for our weekend stay. A lovely cabin on the hill with views of the lake and great lawn space for kids and pets. The space is clean and comes with linens, towels, and kitchen accessories, making it easy to have a quick or extended stay.

Great place!

Great view, comfortable beds, walking distance to the boat dock, deck and hot tub, and responsive hosts. We’ll book again for sure.

Cozy cabin - fantastic location

This was perfect for our family’s ski weekend at Wisp with our teens. We loved the hot tub, fireplace, and close proximity to restaurants. We’ll come back again!

Beautiful family getaway

My family spent the weekend here. We absolutely loved this place. Very cozy and private. We spent more time around the fire pit than we did at the actual lake. The view of the lake from the fire pit was so calming and peaceful. The dock was very cool. The host was welcoming and accommodating and very easy to reach if you need. We would stay here again for sure. Even my pups loved the private yard Thank you to the host!

Guests called screaming and threatened to find out where we live and slap my husband. Wanted us to wash the curtains and provide them with a candle. They were upset because there was a dog bed/bowl (they had a cat) and too many spices in the cupboards. VRBO RECOMMENDED WE EVICT THEM AND CALL THE POLICE. There was no accommodating these people although we tried. We had our realtor stop by to no avail. They left cat mud prints everywhere, didn't clean a thing, used guest dishes for cat food instead of cat bowls provided and threw all pillows on the floor. Left food in the fridge and left garbage in the home. Did not strip the beds nor follow any of the house rules. Complained that there was a road in-between the lake and house-it is 3 minutes from the Wisp Resort-the address is GARRENT HWY! Pictures of every room and outside area are online. In hindsight we would have had them removed.

Great Location. Super Friendly owners.

Located on the main strip. It's a quick and easy drive to just about anywhere in deep creek. Cabin was nice with lots of little amenities. Easy access to the lake right across the road. Great yard space and lots of porch. Pet friendly! Owners are easy to communicate with and great help with any questions or issues.

Rain and cold weather altered our plans, so we spent the majority of time at the lake house. However, it was now disappointment! The house is clean and cozy with all of the amenities of home. We had game night, sat around the fire circle and loved the view. My son brought his dog and this place is wonderful for pets!We could not have been happier. Will definitely be back!

Airborne Reunion

Very beautiful lake house, property was clean, Fire-pit,jacuzzi, multiple Grills to use, the Host was the Best, close to all Amenities, Karma the Deer was by daily,We saw a pileated woodpecker, wildlife was abundant! I will be definitely coming back! To this beautiful Cottage in the Near future, Great place plenty of parking, my Combat Brothers! Loved this Cottage by the Lake, Many Blessings and peace///

Nice affordable getaway

For the first time, my wife and I booked a trip with VRBO, and we were incredibly satisfied with our house, as well as our host. We loved that it is pet friendly! This was, as advertised, a lakefront house with many amenities including a hot tub, a fire pit, beautiful bedrooms (including towels and linens), a wonderful living room area, and an expansive kitchen. We also had a private dock on the lake, which was just a short walk down the driveway and across the street. The house was also within a ten minute (or less) drive of major restaurants and places of entertainment. Just a couple of potential improvements: only one of the two televisions worked, and it was not the one in the living room, so standard TV watching was not available. Also, other people were using the pier over the weekend, so it wasn't fully ours. But overall - we had a GREAT time at a GREAT house. We would definitely book with this host again.

Beautiful View across lake - Centrally Located

We were very happy with Terri's house. She was very accommodating and responded very quickly. The house sits on the hill above the lake but right on 219 so it is easy to get to. Beds were comfy and the towels were soft! I'm tall so I had to watch my head in the basement where the larger bedroom is. Full washer dryer set in basement though was helpful after our hike and kayaking! Large circular drive for our three large vehicles. Could easily gotten a fourth in there. A bit of a tight driveway up the hill but not a problem for my son's huge Ram Truck. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and gadgets. My foodie adult kids enjoyed that. The house has AC; but up in the trees the breeze was nice, so open windows if you can. Fire Pit and Hot Tub were a hit with the family. We were able to use the docks across the street to launch our kayaks - convenient! (But be careful crossing 219) Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Terri!

we just put a brand new huge 300° deck on the property which will allow for the most astonishing views, both sunrise and sunset. While you can see all the views from the property, it is secluded and cannot be seen from the road or the lake. We enjoy a large wrap around Governor Drive with plenty of parking for all your family and friends.
