Wonderful stay! Two families for a couple nights - house was spacious, view was amazing and we loved the beach (especially at low tide!) furnishings were older but still comfy. The kids loved the shells, eagle spotting and even an octopus! Great stay!

We're so glad the house had enough space for both families and that the view and beach access made for such memorable moments, from low tide exploring to spotting eagles and even an octopus. Amazing property. Emma and Bonnie are super communicative. The views are amazing and having direct access to the beach was priceless. Older family home but all the amenities needed, super comfortable beds and every room has a water view. Would return for sure.

Amazing waterfront property with stunning views. Easy path to the beach. Older home but well suited for our family reunion. The kids enjoyed the pool table and piano. Lots of deck furniture to enjoy the outdoors. Very private and secluded.

Very nice property that worked very well for our family during a destination wedding. The pool table made for hours of enjoyment and created some wonderful memories. Spectacular views of the water and wildlife along with walks on the beach.Could have been cleaner especially outside. The patio and tables / chairs all needed a good scrub before using.There was 1 broken chair next to fire pit when we arrived.Inside showed its age attention to the dust bunnies and cob webs would have made experience even better. Suggest a water treatment system due to sulfur smell and taste to the water.

Homey cabin with a picturesque view

It’s a perfect fit for young families, with plenty of space for playing games and exploring nature. As an FYI, it’s an older cabin with some quirky features, but our kids loved it. Would rent again.

Great house and location, very comfortable with a beautiful view from the large deck. The only downside was a very tiny kitchen with a few cockroaches.Everyone in our group enjoyedt he house.

Beautiful location. Came for Chief Seattle Days and was able to easily go back and forth to the events. We could even hear the POW Wow and watch the canoe races from the deck. House was functional but definitely needs some cleaning and repairs. The dishwasher was a challenge he. All in all we had a great trip. Loved the sunsets.

The property was amazing. Trips on the ferry back and forth to Seattle were fun with the kids. The beach was a lovely place to look for shells and the house was perfect for what we needed. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Great spot for Sure

STayed here before our recent Alaskan Cruise. We had a great time , The property is beautiful , tucked away in the trees with water front access . We fished , Played pool , Enjoyed BBQing on the deck . Thank you for sharing your place .

We had a wonderful time! Driving up to the house was like driving through a magical forest! So beautiful! The private path to the beach was used A LOT, as we enjoyed coming the beach and just enjoying the scenery. Our children fully utilized the pool table! Lots of fun! The only issue was that we found lots of roaches in the kitchen.

Gorgeous house and location!!

Was worried and set the bar so low for this home due to some not great reviews, well they are wrong, this house is beautiful and clean and the best location waterfront property! It does have bany items, a high chair and crib but its not baby proofed. Also bring water shoes for the water lots of shells to look for! Emma was a great host! We would definitely stay here again! Firepit was wonderful and amazing view!!

Special time - Special place

Six of us spent 3 nights and parts of 4 days at this lovely home located on the waterfront of Agate Passage. The house was just perfect for our group - each couple had their own bedroom and the common area was conducive to family cooking, eating and conversation. We set up the card table as a jigsaw puzzle area and the pool table facilitated some spirited competition. The highlight was the deck and the view it afforded of the waterfront. We saw seals, heron, bald eagle and on two occasions we were treated to orca whale sightings. We enjoyed reading of the property's history, being in the family since the early 1900's and the many historic photos.And the property is located almost equidistant from Bainbridge and Poulsbo - and we made trips to each. Another nearby treat is the Fay Bainbridge Park with its large expanse of walkable beach. All in all, a wonderful time and we hope to have a chance to return

EXCELLENT!

Huge well appointed house in a lush forest, directly on the waterfront…a beautiful peaceful beach. Four bedroom house that sleeps 8 people. Absolutely perfect for two couples to split the cost. It was had to leave the house to explore the island which has many wonderful things to do, but we mostly wanted to chill, play a game of billiards on the pool table while we had the wood fireplace burning to keep us cozy…firewood supplied) wonderful living room to relax and watch movies on the big screen. Fully equipped kitchen. Dining room table with waterfront views, and outside wrap around deck, have a glass of wine watching the sunset. They also have a fire pit outside! We grilled oysters on the gas BBQ outside. Truly a wonderful place to relax! Attentive owner and property manager to text with any questions

Great house for family holiday

Great location and view. Nice areas for eating and socializing. Kids loved having a pool table in the living area! It was perfect for Thanksgiving. Kitchen had everything we needed. On the downside: it was hard to find (directions need updating); code to the door was incorrect and we were locked out for a bit; property manager changes during our stay and was unresponsive; not thoroughly cleaned (moldy coffee maker, dirty carpet); needs some updates/repairs (upstairs shower doesn't work, some shades are broken and don't provide privacy), some new beds were super comfy and others really need new mattresses. Although this sounds like a lot - we would stay there again. House has tons of charm and was easy to live in. Clearly someone's cherished family vacation spot.

Beautiful property on agate bay but needs some work.

Property is beautiful but house needs some updating and better cleaning. Dishwasher doesn’t open all the way so it’s very hard to do dishes. Place was pretty dirty overall and killed several cockroaches in the kitchen during our stay. Several Pool balls were missing so it was hard to play a proper game. Wish I had known this and would have just brought a set.

We genuinely appreciate your feedback, and the homeowner would like to share the following:-Regarding the pool balls, we want to assure you that had our property manager or the owner been informed at the beginning of your stay, we would have promptly replaced them without delay.-As for the dishwasher, we understand your frustration. Unfortunately, it is located in the only available space, but we have made a note of this in the guest book to assist future guests.-Regarding the unexpected encounter with insects or mice, we want to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We have installed several sonar plug-ins in the kitchen and throughout the house to prevent such occurrences, and we have never received reports of sightings before. We deeply regret that you had this experience.Our commitment to providing an exceptional stay remains steadfast, and we eagerly anticipate hosting many more satisfied guests.

Location was fantastic -

This was a fantastic location and great beach access. Plenty of room for a group of girlfriends looking for a fun long weekend. Plenty of seating, lighting and bedrooms. As noted, very easy access to the a deserted beach area. The house, as noted in previous comments, has not been cleaned thoroughly in some time. There was hair in an upstairs shower, cobwebs, the dishes were dirty, and the tablecloth looked like it had gone to war with spaghetti and lost. While we were sent check in instructions, they were not accurate, and we had to contact the property manager, who did respond after our second attempt at contact. The other negative we had was the 10a.m. check-out, which was my fault as I did not review that until the day before we left. All other homes I have rented had an 11a checkout. For the money being charged, I would recommend extending check out one hour and getting a company in that actually cleans. The house would then be 5 stars.
