Quiet retreat in the heart of the village combines the conveniences of Main Street's shops, restaurants, parks, public beach, Olympic Arenas, and venues only a block away, with the privacy of a quiet neighborhood. Located on two one-way streets, Silver Bear Lodge offers all of the amenities of a home with room for the extended family.

This home boasts five bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and a well-equipped kitchen that was re-modeled in 2019 and outfitted with all new appliances, along with a fully remodeled and upgraded master bath in 2023. The large dining room and two living spaces with TV, Smart TV with spectrum cable access through the provided Roku, a variety of board games and cards available in the dining room closet, a sectional couch, and a gas stove allow ample gathering and private space for up to 12 people. The Dining Room seats 12 at a beautifully locally sourced and crafted, live-edge wood dining room table and the all-season porch has a sitting area with a TV and Foosball Table. The patio with enough tables and chairs for all, along with the large partially fenced yard provides plenty of outdoor space to relax, grill, and enjoy the seasonal views of the mountains and lakes.

In the winter months, you can enjoy skiing close by Whiteface, ice skating on the outdoor Olympic Oval, or even on the indoor rink where the famous 1980 USA Hockey team took the Gold medal.

In the spring, summer, and fall our beautiful Adirondack Mountains offer trails for all levels of hiking. Summers are great for water skiing with the kids on Lake Placid or just relaxing on Mirror Lake's wonderful beach.

We offer a beautiful dining room for meals with the family and a spacious living room for everyone to sit and talk about their day.

Silver Bear Lodge with 5 bedrooms with king, queen bed, queen bed and twin, two double beds, and three twins, and the 3.5 baths make family morning & evening schedules a breeze!

With the location, conveniences, and accommodations of this house, you will have a vacation that your family or group will want to experience again and again. The large secluded and fenced-in backyard is ideal for outdoor activities, sunbathing or family sports, and the children’s park only 1 block away beckons visitors with swings, a slide, and a basketball court. NUMBER OF VEHICLES ALLOWED:
Silver Bear Lodge offers a Maximum of 4 parking spaces for guest use. The Town of North Elba, Village of Lake Placid has adopted new Short-Term Vacation Rental Regulations that include rental parking limitations for the maximum number of motor vehicles allowed on the property. Parking is NOT permitted on any part of the lawn or on any part of a sidewalk and like other communities the ordinance asks that you obey all regulations when parking in public.
