Come enjoy an outstanding getaway at our beautiful remodeled (2024) Lake home situated high upon a bluff overlooking beautiful motorized Round Lake. This lovely home offers five bedrooms and three and a half baths, including a spectacular primary ensuite with king size bed and 55in smart TV and private deck. The beautifully appointed gourmet kitchen features built in Jenn-Air refrigerator and stove, Bosch dishwasher, marble countertops, pantry and tons of cabinets. Enjoy a latte or cappuccino with your espresso machine. This stylish home is perfect for group trips or family get togethers. Enjoy three Lake facing decks with a huge Jenn air gas grill and a solo stove to enjoy a campfire or smores. One hour from Chicago and Milwaukee, half hour from Great lakes naval base and 10 minutes to Gurnee Mills and six flags Great america. Bring your boat and tie up at your own pier or just float in the lake and relax! Enjoy the private beach and playground area just a half a block from our property. The lake is stocked with 13 different types of fish so bring your fishing poles!

Charming property with an excellent kitchen for hosting a friend get-together. Kitchen is very well equipped with lots of seating. The bedrooms were very comfortable and lots of beds to host a large group. The property owners were very quick to reply and great to work with.

The property was beautiful and the amenities were wonderful. Location was great because the kids could swim from the dock and we walked down to the beach and everyone swam there as well. One grandchild caught his first fish during our stay. It was a great experience.

The place was exactly as described with great view and access to the lake. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for meeting, eating, etc for the group.

Best house on the lake

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this home. It was everything we expected and more. The owner, Kelli, communicated quickly when I needed it. I would love to stay at this home during the summer. If we come back to visit my grandson in the Navy again, we will definitely attempt to book this home. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Excellent place to stay and a wonderful host

The house is immaculate every where you turned there was more impressive things to see from the awesome brand new kitchen to the beautiful fireplace and works of art throughout this home. The host was extremely accessible and tentative just a quick text away and always responsive. We came with our family and enjoyed fishing and sitting by the fire we will do this again 😇

Picturesque stay

Beautiful and well maintained/remodeled home. The view off the back deck really made the visit, especially the sunset over a quiet lake. Appreciated the option to use the kayaks, and the fire pit. We had 10 adults who comfortably slept here for the weekend. Plenty of room in the kitchen for food/cooking/visiting, a nice open floor plan, and enough hot water and linens for all.

Perfect

We just completed a perfect weekend celebrating our anniversary with our kids and grandkids (3 to 5 years old). The house was so welcoming, comfortable and exactly as described. The hosts went out of their way to ensure we had a paddle for the second kayak and children’s and adult life jackets. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked. We fished off the pier and everyone fishing caught one. The beach was quiet and we almost had it to ourselves on a beautiful sunny day. We definitely plan on coming back.

Amazing Home Away from Home

Beautiful house. Plenty of space for our family inside and out. Clean and well appointed with everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy the lake house vibe. The owner was responsive and allowed us our privacy. The only complaint was that we had to leave. Highly recommend.

Work Retreat

For our small team, this space could not have been any better for a focused, purposeful, and dedicated work retreat that also provided some nice relaxation and amazing views in the evening hours. The large table allowed the entire team to work collaboratively, while also providing nice views for our lunch breaks and evening reflection times. Highly recommend! The beds were comfortable, and the highlight was spending time on the back decks.

Best VRBO stay

The owners did a beautiful job renovating this house with quality finishes. This same group rents many houses together for team events: one friend said it was the nicest rental we've ever had while another was tearful at the beauty of the primary bedroom. The bedrooms were dark and quiet at night, mattresses and pillows were the most comfortable of any house we've ever rented. Check-in/ out was simple and convenient. The previous renters caused a plumbing issue which the owners remedied immediately without any interruption to our stay. Teens and adults alike thoroughly enjoyed the dock, fishing, kayaking and beach soccer/ volleyball. Excellent accommodations for sleeping, washing, eating and playing. Wish we could've stayed forever!

Great getaway

We had a fantastic stay at this newly renovated lake house. The basement was a total hit with our family, our kids loved having their own space to unwind and have fun, which gave the adults some well-deserved downtime. It was clear that a lot of thought went into creating a space that was both entertaining and safe for children. The rest of the house was equally impressive. The main living area was nicely decorated, with large windows that offered stunning views of the lake. The kitchen was modern and well-stocked, making meal prep a breeze. And of course, the outdoor space was perfect for enjoying the serene lake environment. The property was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided everything we needed for a hassle-free stay. Overall, this lake house exceeded our expectations and provided a perfect setting for a family getaway.

Refreshing Oasis

No disappointment! Worth every dime! Views are outstanding from every level, renovation is on point and did not disappoint. Great upgrades throughout. Comfortable beds. Lots of space for you to roam. Bedrooms are great size and decorated neatly. The complimentary items are a nice touch. Game table and provided games are great for bonding and enjoying the time. The balcony off the main bedroom with the lake view is refreshing to say the least!! This is a great place to escape no matter which of the three levels you are on. Having 3 full baths and a half sure makes life easier!!!!!!!! Thank you for have a 5 star place!! Would HIGHLY recommend!! And it is at the top of my list for future stays!!!

Wonderful Vacation!

My friends and family and I would like to thank the owners of this fantastic place! It was a wonderful vacation! The house has everything you need; literally everything! If you are coming here for a vacation, you don't have to worry, there is everything for you: dishes, detergents, shampoos, gels, towels, washing machine and dishwasher, hair dryer, spices, even popcorn and board games! It's incredible! We were delighted with the number of thoughtful details, because they created a feeling of comfort and a real home! There is a grill in the backyard for you to use, as well as a kayak :) To be honest, we didn't want to go home at all, so we will definitely come back more than once! We are very grateful to the owners for the comfort and coziness! We wish you success! ❤️

We remodeled this home from the studs to the pillows! Everything is new and updated. The view is spectacular and its a very peaceful neighborhood. You can get to Lake Geneva, Gurnee (Six Flaggs Great America, Gurnee Mills Outlet shopping), Chicago, Milwaukee, Chain O' Lakes, Wilmot Ski resort and wonderful restaurants all within an hour drive.
