The house was fantastic. Great location and has everything you need. Our whole family loved the space. And it's very accessible to the marina if you have a boat needing to fuel up. We would certainly stay here again.

We had a great time! This house has a really nice layout! It is very well stocked in the kitchen, plenty of bath towels, beach towels, blankets and pillows. We rented the boat from the owners and really enjoyed it. This house is very comfortable and the view from this house is beautiful. The owners respond to questions very fast.. so nice! I highly recommend coming to Lake Keowee and renting DockTales & the boat!! We will be back !

The home was excellent and the view from the dock was incredible with the mountains and the lake. It was very nice and convenient to rent the pontoon boat as well. Keely was a pleasure to deal with and I will definitely be back in the future.

We had a great time and the house and location was very good. Took advantage of the proximity to the lake and rented the pontoon boat which was an incredible day. Keely was very responsive and easy to work with. The whole process was seamless.

Keely was pleasant to work with and very accommodating for our last minute rental. The view of the lake and mountains was very peaceful, and we loved our evening fires by the water! It was nice that this property offered 3 king size beds, a rarity in rental properties. There was even a Christmas tree for us to enjoy until we could reach our final destination! We would definitely work with Keely again in the future!

Lake Life

This is the first time we stayed in this property, it was very clean and in a great location next to the marina. I’ve stayed in many rentals, this one I really enjoyed how they had numerous large trash cans for our group of our size. The other nice feature was the areas for the JetSki rentals, and being able to just drive them up onto the dock.

Great Lake House

We stayed at this beautiful lake house the week we moved in our Clemson Tiger for her fall semester. This home is amazing and it was impeccably clean. Very spacious with a ton of beds. There is a marina next door and we rented a pontoon boat for the week and it was so wonderful to walk down to the dock and go out on the boat anytime we wanted. We will definitely go back.

Beautiful Relaxing Weekend away at Keowee

Our extended family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "DockTales" on Keowee. Check-in and communication with the hosts was top knotch. We loved the personal touches like K-pods and a full s'mores kit freshly stocked and ready to go. They made their kayaks available to us and the house sits in the absolute perfect location for exploring Lake Keowee. We were able to paddle or swim to a mini island sand bar, the Sunset Marina right next door was super friendly and we had a great day on the pontoon boat. If you are bringing your own boat, the sunset marina boat put in is a 2 minute walk from the house, so no need to pay to park your boat trailer at the marina. Everything worked out great. The family loved the comfy couches everywhere and clean, updated bathrooms, living rooms, rec room with arcade games, etc. I cannot forget to mention the perfect view of the sunrise over the lake and marina and the sunset in the distance with the lake in the foreground are clearly visible from anywhere on the property. Hopefully, we will be back!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. The lakeside location was ideal for boating and we swam off the dock many a time. We highly highly recommend it!!The house is well set up with a large dining table that many can gather at or the family can eat outside. All parts of the kitchen functioned well for our family to cook and eat in for most meals. We used the grill most of the time so that was wonderful to have. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked and plenty of beds (a whole room leftover) for our us. Comfortable beds with ceiling fans in most bedrooms. View off the back porch was beautiful! And what a huge bonus to have the game room. It rained several times during our stay so that was such a fun way to spend time indoors. The host was very clear and helpful with communication leading up to our stay and everything was perfect while we were there that I did not need to reach out for anything. I know if I did she would have gotten back to me immediately. Thank you! If we return to Lake Keowee, we know exactly where to stay!
