We arrived on Wednesday afternoon, later on that day we had issued lighting fire pit on deck. When we went to shower there were only 2 bathrooms with hot water, plus living room fireplace did not work. Contact was made and arrangements were made with property’s owners maintenance man to fix water at 4:30 Wednesday. As well as a company dispatched to fix fire place at same time. Fire place was fixed late Wednesday. Water was repaired but had to wait a few more hours for it to refill. So we basically had 2 bathrooms to shower until late Wednesday night. There is a Mr. Coffee -coffee maker on the counter but no actual coffee pot to go with it. There was a Kuerig, thankfully I purchased both. The waterfall wall ran out of water and we shut it down due to awful noise it was making. Lastly the listing shows both pontoon boat available for rent as well as pontoon boat free. So we had to pay additional money for pontoon as it was not free. The house is huge but sadly our stay was less than we had hoped and I don’t think we would splurge on this again.

The house was perfect for our annual family trip to a Clemson game! It had everything we needed and was the perfect place for all of us to get together.

I give the review a good, only because the size of the home and number of bedrooms and bathrooms were exactly what our group needed. It is a big beautiful home but the carpets and rugs were very dirty and the sofa in the main living room had a lot of stains and wear and tear. The stains were so bad we did not feel comfortable sitting on it without putting down a cover. We lost power at about 9pm on our first night to 2 floors. The owner was contacted and h8s response was; I just had surgery and I do not have people just standing by like a hotel. He said he would contact his maintenance guy to come out the next day, as he was 40 miles away. He also sent me his number. We were a little disappointed that he could not send anyone that night because we had to go without heat and power all the rest of the night. Which made us had to cancel all activities planned for that night. Our first night of our Christian women"s retreat. But we were okay, we are not unreasonable people and took into consideration him just having surgery. The maintenance guy did come at 9:15 the next morning and after checking several things he did restore power. But because their was a short somewhere, he advised us not to use the hot tub and turn off the heat to the pool. So we were not able to use those amenities, which we really had planned on. Then we didn't have hot water in some of the bathrooms so we had to use other people's bathrooms to bath. When I addressed these issues with the owner he becam

This was the perfect place for us! We are a group of photographers who meet twice a year in different locations. We choose our location based on size and photo opportunities.This time there were 20 of us and we never felt crowded. We cook 3 meals a day for everyone and I have to say, this was the best and most complete kitchen so far. We rarely go to the same place twice but I knew right away, this place would be the exception!Thank you Nick. You are an excellent host!

We enjoyed our stay Beautiful house. Wonderful pure lake. Nice pontoon and jet skis nice kyacks well equipped kitchen two bars friendly host Many nice amenities but showing signs of wear Maintenance is lacking. cushions on pool deck were all in large a jumbled pile on arrival. Pilot was out in main fireplace Heated pool was only 70 F too cold for most of us. hot tub was nice and hot but lacking a screen on intake two people got their feet sucked into it Dangerous gas fireplace in lower bar are did not work even after I got Maintenance person to check it.One king bed room was only a double bed. Dishes were put away not fully cleaned. Grill and fire pit were out of propane I had to call to get them filled large packages of paper towels and bath tissue were piled on front porch I had to store them

The property needs a little maintenance as follows:1) Kitchen pots and pans need to be replaced.2) The upper level firepot would not light.3) The sliding doors off the upper level bar area do not lock.4) The pool and hot tube were in good condition. We suggest railings be installed leading to the hot tub.The view of the lake from the house was beautiful. At this time of year (mid-October), the lake is very quiet which adds to the appeal. Ovrall, this is a wonderful property. Our group of 12 seniors appreciated the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom.

Beautiful views, great pool and hot tub, though heater for pool was not working at first but was taken care of the next morning. Very well supplied kitchen with hi quality appliances and dishes. Plenty of room. Some furniture could use replacing but overall, very interesting house.

This house is amazing! The locals call it the Miami Vice house, which is spot-on. That said, the decor is dated, also spot-on . Everything is clean and pretty well-maintained. The kitchen is very well-stocked with extras of everything. Multiple refrigerators, bars upstairs and down. Plenty of room for our group of 14 to spread out as needed, with room to spare. This house is big we had trouble figuring out all the light switches!Outdoor spaces are absolutely amazing: main level deck with chairs, tables, cushions, grill, and a lovely bubbling brook leading down to the pump house/hot tub area. Beautiful mature landscaping with plenty of shade. Gorgeous pool deck with umbrellas and hot tub (needed some work on the jets). Huge dock with room for additional watercraft (rentals worked out great for our group, aside from some maintenance issues that were handled quickly). The view absolutely cannot be beat. Location is excellent (our favorite lake by far; we have purchased a lot here!), and only 5 minutes from an extremely well-stocked Dollar General (groceries, produce, etc) and 15 minutes from Publix or Ingle’s.

Property is extremely dated, which you can pick up on from the pictures. But, it has a serious ant problem and has not been cared for. The beds and linens were clean and comfy. Worst pillows I've ever had in my life. Lots of broken blinds that didn't work, and left a disheveled appearance. They didn't provide ANY Kleenex, or shower amenities-which in my experience is very odd? The flooring had a lot of inconsistencies that made it a bit dangerous for the older people in our party. The property is beautiful, and access to the lake is outstanding. It wasn't a bad stay, it just really didn't meet our needs, or standards.

Beyond words!!

Not sure where to start. This house was beyond amazing. There was nothing missing. Normally I have to bring big kettles with me in order to cook for 20 people but this kitchen was equipped with that and much, much more. The house itself was beyond amazing. The pool, the hot tub, the lake, the pantoon belt and the jet skis, we're a big hit. The boat and the jet skis were so easy to rent. They're already there at the property. All you have to do is make a phone call and they show up and get you going on the water. We had plenty of room for all 20 of us with the bedrooms with the private baths and the multiple dining room tables. The views are just incredible. I don't know what else to say. This property is just magnificent and the response from the owner was unmatched. As soon as we needed something somebody was there to take care of us. We will definitely be back.beback. Thank you so much.
