Spacious, A/C bright Loft in a 17th century building with views of both historical old town section of Aix-en-Provence and St. Victoire Mountain made famous Cezanne's paintings.
The loft is decorated in a modern, tasteful style with many references to historical French styles, and is ready for you to fully enjoy your stay in Provence. This loft, renovated, includes queen size beds in both the master bedroom (which has a fireplace), and guest rooms (the guest room can be configured as two single beds as well).

A private stairway leads to a private, spacious roof-top terrace where you can enjoy meals and admire the gorgeous views.
The main bathroom has a stand alone tub, the second bathroom on terrace level with an open Italian shower. The kitchen is generously equipped with all the modern conveniences and will add to your comfort.
The kitchen counter seats four (counter stools) The living area includes plenty of light and a big screen television with a few english channels. The built-in air conditioning and heating systems will add to your comfort.

An instruction book is provided to you upon your arrival with local restaurant recommendations and places to visit.

The loft reflects a tranquil, modern-eclectic style and is just two blocks away from the famous outdoor flower and produce markets, cafes, shops, restaurants and museums of beautiful Aix-en-Provence.

Parking is available for a daily or weekly fee behind our building. Please inquire with us. 85€ CLEANNING FEE IS DUE AT THE END OF STAY

We had an amazing time. We loved the location. The views from the terrace were a highlight. The apartment had a great vibe. The owners were so helpful in many ways. There are lots of steps to climb, but worth it!!Wish we could stay again someday.

Great place to stay!

Loved the apartment as described with everything we needed and having a lovely terrace to enjoy our happy hour. Enjoyed the markets. Everything is close. The parking a couple block away since (it's a walking town) made it easy to visit neighbouring villages. We even hiked/walked to the dam.

Great location, stylish and comfortable in Old Town Aix

This was the perfect apartment for visiting Aix, and the owners are very friendly and responsive. Beds are extremely comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and the rooftop terrace will be a big part of our memories.

This place lives up to its "you can have it all" billing. It is a beautifully appointed space, with all the amenities one could want - including comfy beds and furnishings, nice linens, well-equipped kitchen, laundry, AC, etc. It's location is perfect for accessing the old town on foot and not far from the perimeter so escaping to explore the countryside is easy. The thick building walls make for a quiet space. The terrace was "the cherry on top" as we say in English... we loved starting our day with coffee up there and ending it with wine and snacks. And, to top it all off there is an amazing personal guidebook with all sorts of recommendations. Book it! You won't be disappointed. Thank you Kristine & Thierry.

Beautiful apartment

The property was a beautiful place in a beautiful city. Beautiful modern touches with many historical “old” touches as well, much like Aix itself. Close to everything with good pizza at the bottom of the stairs with the best breakfast place right around the corner. The hosts were amazing! The flights of stairs were so worth it to have the rooftop terrace with terrific views. Thanks for a great stay!

Elegant and Beautiful!

Perfect location. The apartment has everything you need. It is right in the heart of the old city, within easy walking distance to many restaurants, markets, bakeries, shopping and the beautiful sights Aix has to offer. Owners were very helpful and provided a lot of information about the area. I definitely recommend this house, and Aix- en- Provence in general.

Perfect location in Aix!

What a lovely space to call home for our five days in Aix! Christine greeted us enthusiastically and we found everything we needed in this well equipped apartment. And the lovey terrace with a view of the rooftops of Aix was a much enjoyed space for coffee at the beginning of each day, and for a glass of rose at the end of a day’s activities. Thank you Christine and Thierry for an enjoyable stay.

Delightful stsy

This was a wonderful place to stay in Aix👏 Kristine and Thierry were the absolute best hosts, fun and very helpful for what we were interested in doing in Provence. We would highly recommend this VBRO. They went to a lot of trouble to be informative with on site information book of their personal recommendations. We would love to return some day❤️

Even Better in real Life

The photos are beautiful and The apartment more than lives up to it. The top floor location overlooks the rooftops of Aix, including the Historic Town Hall. We shopped the Daily Market, cooked and dined al fresco on the roof deck. Only caution is the walk up 4 flights.

Elegant and comfortable

What a perfect apartment in a convenient location in the old town! The apartment is beautifully decorated and well equipped. They have thought of everything. The roof top terrace is just wonderful. We hated to say goodbye. Take all of their tips. We could go on and on. A perfect stay!

I can’t say enough about our stay in this beautiful two-story flat. The place is fastidious, and both comfortable and chic. They have everything you need to enjoy meals in, including from the magnificent rooftop deck. The flat is spacious with ample closets and room for relaxation. Bedding was luxurious and the bathrooms are gorgeous. Our hosts were attentive to our needs and our questions about Aix. They were flexible with our checkout time and accommodating. And the location: it was central yet surprisingly quiet at bedtime and in the morning. We had such a wonderful stay in Aix.

Perfect Aix-en-Provence Apartment

Perfect location to see Aix-en-Provence and great base for the hill towns and wineries. Almost every morning we’d go to the outdoor market and get fresh bread, cheeses, olives, veggies etc, etc. Then after a full day of walking and exploring Aix-en-Provence or one of the many hill towns we’d head up to our favorite place in the apartment-the rooftop terrace and enjoy our goodies from the market while watching the sun set and the moon rise. Kristine was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived and spent a while with us giving us lots of suggestions Absolutely perfect setting! Would definitely stay there again.

Superb Location!

Walkable to everything. The apartment is lovely, comfortable, and just as pictured. The air condition in the main apartment quiet and efficient. The host is responsive and provides an extensive list of things to do, restaurants, and guide books. We rented a car in Aix and Kris prearranged parking 2 blocks from the apartment which worked really well for day trips. As others have mentioned the terrace is beautiful and even in the July heat useable early morning and evening. I would emphasize there are a lot of stairs, so pack light and go ahead and eat that extra croissant you will work it off!

A truly wonderful and relaxing stay.

The place is charming and beautifully decorated with everything needed to cook, eat and sleep. It is in near the outer ring of the old part of the city and very close to the daily market. You need to be in good shape to climb the wide stairs to the apartment, once you are in the apartment you will reap the rewards of natural light on the first level of the corner apartment. On the second level is another bathroom and a lovely terrace where we could see tile rooftops and church bell towers. The terrace is wonderful in the morning and evening, and comes equipped with a table and five chairs plus five cute potted olive trees. We’d love to stay here again.

The Perfect home away from home

Aix is a magical city with a long history and beautiful architecture dating back to Medieval times. To experience the town, its lively atmosphere, music festival, etc there is no better place to stay than Kristine & Thierry's top floor apt. Beautifully renovated with a roof deck that captures this ancient town's story book views. Great lighting throughout the apt adds a warm glow, a cosy master bedroom, well stocked kitchen, and high end bathrooms adds to the overall delight of this charming home away from home. The beams throughout help to give you a sense of 17th century living. What else can we say, we are booking same time next year! Tee & Michael

Beyond our expectations

Our stay in Aix was a bucket list item for me ... after previous quick visits, I wanted to "live the life" for a few days, and was beyond excited when I found this property. The reality of the stay was beyond anything I'd hoped for. The photos don't do the apartment justice, and the location is superb, but what truly made our trip perfect was the fact that we were greeted at the door by Kristine, who spent an extensive amount of time both showing us every nuance of the property and making sure that we had a good sense of how best to enjoy our time. We have stayed all over the world, in some of the world's finest hotels, but Kristine truly captures the spirit of accommodation. Don't hesitate about booking this property! Terri & Zach O.

Gréât Stay in Aix

We (two couples) really enjoyed our week in Aix at this very clean, well situated apartment . Kristine handled the arrival and provided us with a wealth of travel touring tips which were all spot on. The apartment is on the fourth floor without a lift if that is an issue. The unit was very clean, well equipped, and includes a nice rooftop terrace that is shaded around 5:00pm for happy hour. Had a wifi issue that Thierry personally came over to correct…even going to the extent of buying a temporary replacement unit. Check out was also a breeze with Kristine. Thank you Kristine and Thierry…highly recommend.

Absolutely Spectacular

The title says it all. The property is absolutely spectacular. You’re unlikely anywhere else in old town Aix to be within a 5-10 minute walk of everything with your own incredible rooftop terrace. Two spacious bedrooms, two modernized bathrooms, along with a completely usable kitchen with a very nice living room in which to relax in the rare event you’re not out exploring Provence. Parking that is very convenient is also available. We spent a week here, doing day trips throughout Provence — essentially, nothing is more than an hour away. This is the perfect base camp for exploring Aix and beyond. Best of all, Kristine and Thierry could not be more helpful, to include providing “The Book” with suggestions for everything you could possibly need for Aix and all of Provence. We will absolutely stay here again.

This property has amazing views from terrace over roof tops & Mountain ste Victoire and its best location in the heart of the historical center ..we wanted to be able to walk everywhere in Aix and never use a car!! We love the southern exposure of the apartment....we have amazing 5th century A.D Roman galleries under the building with beautiful vaulted ceilings and original roman flooring.
