Very nice, clean property close to downtown. (Be advised that there are lots of steps-inside and out.) Our group was very comfortable with the furnishings and beds (plenty of fresh pillows too!) and the host was quick with response to our tiny issue. Ubers were easy to get.

Charming and spacious, clean house that was great for our large family gathering. Had everything we needed from well-equipped kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, to enough space to all spend time together. Very family friendly, and host was fantastic with quick communication and all the necessary information.

Communication with our host was great. The house really worked for a get together with multiple families. It was a really cool house and neighborhood to stay in.

We had a group of 8 that stayed at this house. It worked out perfectly. We had more than enough room for everyone, and the kids got to ware themselves out on the stairs! We had all the amenities and things we needed in the kitchens. We all really enjoyed our stay, and the kids want to go back.

I stayed here with a large group and it was a pleasant experience. The units are all updated and it is a close drive to downtown. Preston was a great host and very accommodating.

Host was very helpful. The location was ideal. I had sixteen guest all that commented how great the house was for a large group. With three seperate apartments it gave everyone their own space. The middle unit served as the gathering area when we all wanted to be together. Three kitchens allowed those that wanted to cook to do their own thing. Plenty of bathrooms as well.I highly recommend this for your next large gathering!

This is a lovely property in a conveniently located and nice neighborhood. The house is regal and full of beautiful details. We rented the entire house but each floor could be rented on it's own and had ample spaces for staying. Bedding was clean and mattresses were comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms and towels. Air conditioning was great for our summertime stay. The only thing I would consider about staying here is that it is located on a hill and has a bit of a steep entrance from the street as well as 4 stairs up to the porch. (Also stairs to get to the second and third floors ) It would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again. The host was friendly and professional throughout our communications.

Preston was a gracious host. He responded quickly. Furniture was sturdy and comfortable including the beds/mattresses. Home came fully stocked with quality cleaning products including a few kitchen pantry/cabinet staples. The home was perfect to house 4 generations of my family over the Christmas holiday.

Business Weekend Trip

This was is an annual trip we take with all of our employees and their families to show them our appreciate. I rented the whole house which was the perfect size for everyone to have their own space. I loved the versatility of the rooms, I could make living rooms a bedroom and shut doors for privacy. It was a great location for our activities. It was super nice!

Credit to the owner for keeping what is likely a 100 year old urban mansion in workable shape! My fear before arrival was that an older home converted to 3 “ apartments would not be easy to cool in a Cincinnati summer. But, each apartment not only had ‘zone’ individual central cooling but there were multiple window air conditioning units in each apartment to manage cooling. Very thoughtful of the owner. And communication was excellent before and throughout the rental. The only ‘ less than 5 rating‘ is assigned as his cleaners missed a few things. We provided feedback on a few issues and based on the owner’s responsiveness, I am certain those will be addressed. A really nice bonus with this rental is that most rooms are decorated with the owner’s art work which provides a nice ‘charm’. If returning to Cincy , we would rent this home again.

I really appreciate you writing all of this out. Keeping a 100 year old house cool through a Cincinnati summer takes some doing, so I am glad the zone cooling and the window units did the job, and it is a nice bonus to hear the artwork added some charm. You were right to flag the cleaning, and I have passed your notes along to my cleaners so those items get handled going forward. You all were great guests and left the place in good shape, and we would be more than happy to host you all again the next time you are in Cincinnati.

Very nice home and good for multiple families. Everyone can have some space of their own along with areas the hang out. The only thing I'd caution people on is there are lots of steps to both get into the house and once inside. The more open portions are on the second and third levels if you have people that have issues with steps it does make it a little difficult.

Beautiful home.

There were 23 of us using all three units in the house. We used all of the beds and most of the available air mattresses, sofas, and futons. Lots of steps, but our senior ladies were able to manage them. Clean and well equipped. Comfortable mattresses and pillows. Street parking was doable.

This house was great for my group of students and chaperones on our Cincinnati exploration. Kitchens were functional and helpful for our group. The only negative was several bathrooms didn’t have hand soap in them.

We began hosting in Fall 2018 after realizing our unique 1895 Victorian house would be perfect for large groups coming to Cincinnati. Our short term rentals are a "family affair": my wife does the design, I have renovated each unit, and we commissioned my mom to do custom artwork for each space. I love meeting new people and giving them tips about how to enjoy our fantastic city.

We love the close proximity to all downtown has to offer: stadiums, the hospitals, and area attractions like the museums and Ark Encounter. East Walnut Hills has some of the most beautiful Victorian architecture in the city, and its own charming business districts filled with coffee shops and restaurants (walking distance to both East Walnut Hills, and up-and-coming Walnut Hills areas).
